"Channie!" Hyunae called out, tying her hair into a messy bun as she walked down the stairs. "What?" Himchan came out of his room, hair damped from a shower. "I'm gonna go to the store around the corner. Do you want something?" Himchan shook his head and offered to accompany her, but Hyunae refused. "I need some alone time" she said as she stuffed her phone in the back pocket of her tight highwaisted shorts. "Can you put some pants on first?" he stopped her before she could open the front door. "I am wearing pants" she grinned and walked out of the door.

Hyunae walked down the streets, making her way to the little convenient store down the block. She was craving a melon popsicle and her favourite vanilla soymilk. She hummed to herself as she skipped down the block. She greeted the familiar faces she passed by in their neighborhood. After a short five minute walk, she finally reached her destination. Hyunae greeted the ahjumma that was always there behind the cashier when she comes to visit. She went straight to the frozen section and opened the refrigerator door and immediately grabbed two melons for her and one red bean pospsicle for her brother. She then grabbed two vanilla soymilks. 

After thanking the ahjumma with a warm smile and light bow, she stepped out of the store and quickly opened one package of her favourite ice cream. She smiled as the taste of the sweet treat melted in . Ever since she was little, she' s always had a loving for sweets. Weeks after she had met Yongguk, whenever he came over to play, he would always bring her something sweet. Whether it be a cupcake, some candies, or ice cream. She just got used to it. 

She could almost see their building from a short distance. But before that, she noticed an unfamiliar red SUV that blocked her way. A figure with long legs and long dark brown hair caught her attention. The girl was carrying two boxes, one on top of another. Hyunae came closer as she could notice the girl struggling with the boxes in her skinny arms. Before the top box could crash on the ground, Hyunae managed to catch it with her hands.

"Omo" the stranger shrieked. She looked up to Hyunae and smiled, "Thank you" she bowed. "Do you need help?" Hyunae offered. She was always the kind to help others. And today wasn't any different. She helped the girl moved a few boxes into the second floor of the apartment building a few buildings away from theirs. 

Six boxes later, the two girls plopped down on the white cushions of the couch. They heaved a sigh together as the soft couch cushions their fall. "Oh" the girl suddenly jolted up into a straight sitting position. She turned to Hyunae and stuck a hand out. "Hi, I'm Im Nana" she smiled to her. Hyunae returned the warm smile that was given to her. "Kim Hyunae" she held her hand that was stretched in front of her and shook it. Hyunae could already tell that her and the new girl would be getting along.

Indeed she was right. Hyunae made a new friend that day. As weird as it might sound, but after only thirty minutes of talking, they automatically clicked. It was like they were destined to be friends with each other. Turns out Nana just moved to Seoul from Incheon. She begged her parents to let her move in with her older sister who was working in Seoul. Her sister lived in a one bedroom apartment and since Nana would be living with her, they decided to move to a bigger place. And so here she was, moving her stuff in their new home. 

"Where's your sister?" Hyunae asked while Nana arranged some of the things she pulled out of the box. "At work" she simply replied. "We're actually just moving our things today. Tomorrow we'll officially move" she smiled to Hyunae. Hyunae couldn't help but admire Nana's beauty. If it's the first time you're seeing her, you would think she was some kind of model. Hyunae wished she would look anything close like her. "Hyunae-shi" Nana snapped the train of thoughts in Hyunae's brain. "Hm?" Hyunae hummed to her. "I'm still new here and I hope you and I can be good friends"

Hyunae couldn't help the big grin that painted itself on her face. She nodded to the girl in front of her. Honestly, she never had any girl friends. Since she was little, it had always been her, HImchan and Yongguk. Then she met Zelo through Yongguk since they were cousins. Zelo introduced his friend Jongup, who then introduced Youngjae, who then introduced Daehyun. That's how it all started. Ever since then, it's been the seven of them. Hyunae never made friends with girls her age. Either they didn't want to be friends with her because they were jealous of how popular, pretty, and the lines of boys that would trail behind her or they would make friends with her just so they could get through to the boys.

But she felt good being with Nana. Niether of those reasons were her motive to be friends with her. Nana didn't know who Hyunae was. She didn't know how popular she is at school and with the boys. She didn't know that she had one ulzzang brother and five handsome men as friends. Nana wanted to be her friend because she wanted to. Not because she would want to use her for her own benefits. For all she know Hyunae could be the town's , a mob boss' daughter or some loner. She wanted to be friends with her no matter who she was. 

Hyunae found good company in Nana. The whole weekend the two were together. Hyunae showed Nana around the area. They enjoyed each others company. Turns out Nana only had one friend her whole life. But that friend moved abroad last year and ever since, she never bothered to make any friends. Just like Hyunae, Nana never clicked with any of the other girls in her school. So they were both happy that they've became friends so fast.

Monday came and Hyunae picked Nana up from her apartment so they would all go to school together. None of the boys have met her yet. They were all busy doing their own things. When Hyunae told Himchan about Nana, he was excited too. Not because he was going to meet the new transfer student, but because he was happy his sister found a new friend. A girl for that matter. Hyunae was picky when making friends. She didn't want to be betrayed.

"Is she coming? You always nag me to get ready early, yet this girl is dragging. We're going to be late" HImchan whined in the front seat of her car. "Shut up, she's coming" a few seconds later, Nana comes strolling down the small steps of the building and walked towards the grey car. "She's pretty" Himchan gaped. "I told you" Hyunae stated as she pushed his jaw closed.

"Hi" Nana greeted the two shyly. Hyunae turned in her seat and faced her to introduced them to each other. "Nana this is my brother HImchan. Channie, this is my friend Nana" Hyunae smiled at the two. They greeted each other quickly and went on their way. As always, they spotted the boys sitting at their usual picnic table that was right across the parking lot. They could see them fooling around while Daehyun flirts with some girl. The three of them got out of the car. "Wait" Nana grabbed Hyunae's hand and stopped her. "Wae?" Hyunae blinked at her. Nana eyed Himchan and then Hyunae. Hyunae got the hint and told Himchan to go on first and that they will follow after.

Once Himchan was gone, Nana let go of Hyunae's hand and looked around her surrounding. She basked on the newly painted building. The green grass shining from the heated sun. Students were already looking and whispering at them while they passed them by. "Is something wrong?" Hyunae asked. "I'm just a little nervous, that's all" Hyunae couldn't help but giggle at her cuteness. There was no doubt that Nana's appearance was like Hyunae's. They look intimidating and there's just an aura of confidence around them. But who knew Nana was this shy? "Don't worry. You'll be fine" Hyunae assured her and tugged on her hand to guide her to where the boys were seated.

The two girls approached the boys. Zelo and Jongup noticed their presence first as they were facing their way. "Noona!" Zelo jolted up from his seat and greeted his favourite noona. The rest of the boys turned their heads and reveled in the new sight in front of them. "Kids, this is Nana. Nana, these are my friends" Hyunae happily introduced her new friend to the gang. The boys each shot Nana a warm smile and introduced themselves one by one. Hyunae's eyes landed on Yongguk and she felt a pang shot through her heart. The way he was looking at Nana...

Just so you guys know, Im Nana is the Nana from After School. Also, the twin's condo looks like the house in "World's Within." Do you guys know that drama? It's the one with Song Hye Gyo and Hyun Bin lol

Also, is it weird that I get all happy while writing this? lol I get so motivated by your comments that I get happy when I write new chapters. 

But can I request that when you guys comment, don't just write 'Update soon' or 'Update please' I don't mid if you guys do, but please also comment on what you think of the story so far. Maybe make some suggestions too if you guys want. I get motivation with commenst like those.

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this chapter, although I think it's a little boring lol.
