Chapter 5
Scar
Seungho paced from the TV to the couch, nails digging through his sweater into his skin. Part of him wanted to turn the TV off, but he couldn’t risk missing an important detail.
“Hyung, relax. They said hyung and Mir-ah weren't hurt. They’re probably just taking it slow because of the shock of it all. Now would you sit down; you’re gonna make a hole in the floor.” Thunder watched MBLAQ’s leader, who ignored him for the nth time since the news of the explosion came on the news.
“How can you be so calm? Car bombs don’t just happen in Korea! And it was Joon’s car! The car that only Joon has the keys to. It’s just...ah!”Seungho kicked at the air and he went right back into his pacing.
The door opened and before they could take off their shoes, Seungho had wrapped Mir up in a bearhug. “Oh, thank God you’re okay.” Mir went lax, weakly hugging back.
“Hey! I almost got blown up too!” GO whined. Seungho rolled his eyes and pulled GO in by the nape of his neck.
“So, are you guys okay? Nothing broken, nothing burnt, you guys are okay? ”Thunder rose from the couch, fiddling with his hands as he looked the two up and down.
“Just had our lives shortened by twenty years, but other than that, we’re fine.” GO walked past Thunder and laid out across the couch. Thunder rolled his eyes and looked back at Mir.
“What about you, Mir?”
Mir shrugged. “I want to be alone.”And Mir left the front room before anyone could speak.
Behind the door, Mir slid down to the floor. Things were getting a little too hectic for his life. A suicide attempt and then a car-bombing What exactly was happening to them? “Joonie, what did you get yourself into?”
It was eerie, what happened next. That the moment after Mir asked that, he could hear the familiar tone of Joon’s phone.
“Joon?” Mir sprinted across the room, nearly dropping the phone a number of times before he could actually accept the message.
Oh Sunnie-ah!~ ^^ Are you okay?! What did Mir do to you?! I could've never believed a sweet person like your maknae could've made you do something like that? Don't worry - now that Mir's gotten my message, I don't think he'll hurt you ever again.

“Excuse me?”Mir reread through the message three, four times and it still didn’t make sense.
“Ahn...Ahn Kan Mi? Who the hell is she?” His thumb tapped on the name and before him, a list of messages covered the screen. Curiousity filled him - it would seem the best way to satisfy it would be to start from the beginning.
“WHAT?!”
Oppa~ I dreamt about you last night after we met. I remembered our date and I remember that you liked it when I called you Sunnie. Oh!~ I haven't sent you any of the pictures! Be sure to look at them! I can't wait to see you again! ^^
Joon had been cheating on him! And looking at the date - for three months?!.
Mir threw the phone across the room - it was amazing it didn’t break when it hit the wall. So...that was the reason. Joon couldn’t handle having two lovers and he took the easy way out.
And to think, Mir had been worried over him.
