Days later, Jinki pushed the door open as he entered the dark room. He missed her. He wanted to see her. So here he was, staring at the figure sitting in the corner of the room with her leg up to her chest. Walking towards her with heavy footsteps, he was afraid.

              He was afraid that she will avoid him.

              Squatting down in front of her, he tilted his head to one side, admiring her beautiful face as he reached out for her. He was touching her so gently...as if she were a piece of finely crafted glass, and afraid that she might break. Rein flinched at Jinki's touch, her heart felt heavy and she was so afraid that she dare not move. She doesn't want Jinki to get angry at her if she disobeyed him. She was afraid that Jinki might...might just bite her head off.

              But somewhere in her heart, she yearned for his touch, his warmth. She shut her eyes tightly as she clenched her fists. She doesn't care if the nails were digging into her palms, she doesn't care if it started to bleed; she doesn't care if the pain was intruding her. She was more afraid of what was going to happen to her if she disobeyed him.

              "I'm just Jinki, why are you trembling..." he whispered, voice filled with hurt and helplessness.

              She didn't realize she was trembling until Jinki decided to point that out. She was actually trembling so vigorously. Jinki placed his hands against the wall, cornering Rein between his arms, with his gaze never leaving her.

              He was so close to her, and her heart won't stop pounding. Her body feels so hot, but he was not even touching her. He smelled so nice, as usual.

              "Please," he mumbled, "Please be like before."

              With just that sentence, Rein burst out sobbing. The tight knot in got loose and her tears just continues to flow out like river. She looked up at Jinki with her face stained with tears and he rubbed his thumb across her cheek to wipe off the never-ending tears that were rolling down. She had been hiding her pain; her tears inside her, and this time, Jinki activated the button for her to release the agony. She was glad for that. She was glad that Jinki begged her to be like before. To be the Rein that he once knew before she know the truth. She didn't know how long she had been separated from the outside. She was no longer aware of what time it was or what date it was either.

              She unclenched her fists, reaching out to Jinki's face with one of her bloody hand. The embedded feeling of the way her fingers crept up to touch his jawline made prickly shivers jiggle down his spine. She wants to touch him, hug him, and feel him. It was like all the nerves ending in her skin were...reaching out to Jinki.

              The way she dragged her fingers on his face was making him crazy, he grabbed her hand and dived in for her lips.

              He was hungry for her.

              Jinki her lip hungrily. Asking for entrance and when she allows it, his tongue shove in instantly and fight with hers. The way Rein's tongue fought with his for dominance to the way she was his hair. It was crazy. It was making him crazy.

              Jinki smirked into the kiss when she lost the battle, letting him to explore as his hands cupped her cheeks, and at the same time, wiping off the remaining tears. He wanted to deepen the kiss but as soon as his knee accidentally hits Rein's secret garden, he got pushed away and landed on the ground with a loud thud.

              She breathed heavily, glancing at the guy before her before composing herself again. She can't believe what she had done. She almost make out with a creature.

              "Get out," she said with her slightly hoarse voice, which reminded her how many days she had not been drinking.

              "Sorry," Jinki stood up from the ground, cleared his throat and watched as Rein returned to her usual position.

              He was staring at her, admiring her from afar when he was actually told to get out. The barking sound of the wolf dragged him back to reality and that was when he realized Pixie was beside Rein.

              "Pixie? Wha— when did you get in here?"

              "Hyung."

              Jinki snapped his head to the direction of the door. Taemin was standing there, with his hands in his pockets.

              "Just let Pixie accompany her. It'll be fine," Taemin glanced solemnly at Rein for a bit before walking away.

              Jinki glanced at Pixie and for once, the little girl who always love to follow Jinki although its master was Taemin, gleamed at him in warning with its golden amber eyes.

              He closed the door and make sure that he locked it so that she won't find any chance to escape.

              "What's with that?" He asked, following Taemin down the hallway.

              "What's what?"

              "Pixie."

              Jinki focused his gaze on Taemin's back, causing the younger one to chuckle as he turned around.

              "Since she doesn't want to see us and in case you're worried about her, I will let Pixie accompany her. She will take care of Rein," Taemin smiled as he patted on his brother's shoulder.

              Sighing, Taemin keep his hands in his pockets again, walking away from the older guy until he heard his question.

              "You like Rein?" Jinki asked quietly.

              The corners of the lad's mouth pulled up into a smile. "Nice observation."

              Taemin turned around, facing his hyung with his smile never fading.

              "I like her." Taemin confessed, “Since when?” Jinki asked almost immediately.

              Taemin’s smile slowly faded, he cleared his throat and looked down at the floor. “I went to find Hongki yesterday, Seunghyun died. Although I didn’t see him dying but, I smelled his blood, it was very faint but I smelled it, and I’m sure it was Seunghyun’s.”

               “What did Hongki tell you?” Jinki asked quietly, walking towards Taemin as he signaled for him to walk as far away from the room as possible. “He told me about Rein, a lot about her. Saying how she befriends with him and how he falls in love with her.”

               Jinki sighed inside his heart.

               “I guess somewhere in the midst of it, I kind of like her.”

              "You love her?" Jinki questioned. His younger brother shook his head and walked away.

              "Not love," he said aloud in the hallway. "At least not yet," he whispered.

He stood at the doorway with a tray of fruits and a bowl of porridge, thinking whether or not to go in and talk to her. He doesn't want to see her behaving in that way anymore. He promised to make her the happiest girl if he was around but what he was doing now apparently doesn't make her happy. Especially after knowing about Seunghyun’s death, which make Hongki left with no one despite that he was currently facing the damn thing alone, and Rein definitely won’t like the idea of it.

              Taking a deep breath, he unlocked the door and pushed it open as if the door was the heaviest thing on Earth.

              The door opened with a creak sound and that raises the sight of that girl in the corner. Closing the door, he gave her a weak smile and walk towards the bedside table before putting down the tray of food.

              "Ha...I'm sorry I came again," he tried to joke. The last time he came -almost make out- and visited her was only a few hours ago.

              Rein turned her attention away from Jinki. Pixie was lying against her foot and her furry body was warming her out in the cold night.

              He sat down beside her with his back against the wall. Both of them stared at nothing and no words were exchanged.

              "I'm sorry. Really sorry," He sighed. No idea what he did, he just felt the need to apologize.

              "I shouldn't have dragged you into this, I shouldn't have fallen for you, I shouldn't be friends with anyone, I'm...I'm not a human after all."

              Jinki gritted his teeth, feeling that everything was his fault and he couldn't do anything right now to help it. Perhaps the only way was to let go of Rein but he love her and he knew that she would definitely go to Hongki once she get out of here.

              When suddenly he felt a weight on his shoulder, he thought Rein had fallen asleep, but when he tilted his head to one side and stared at her, her eyes were still wide opened and were staring blankly ahead.

              He smiled.

Just after I answered her call, I had a lot of thoughts. Yesterday, she was dumped by her boyfriend whom she loved.

              Unconsciously, tears started to escape behind her eyelids and rolled down her cheeks.

              He wrapped one of his arms around her shoulder so that her head was resting on his shoulder more comfortably. He uses his other free hand to wipe away the tears that was cascading down both her cheeks and at that moment, no one know how broken his heart was.

              "I'm sorry." He mumbled before leaning in to plant a deep kiss on her forehead. At the same time, a tear drop slipped out of his eye. "—and thank you."

              Broken because he was going to let her go.
