Jae In POV

Okay, this chapter might be confusing but you will get it
as soon as I post the next one so wait a couple of days.

Mrs. Shin wasn’t the typical mom. She had no signs of
being a mom at all. She was slim and she looked young. I
never saw her without a smile, though it was only for few
days.

“Mom...” Dongho said.

“I asked what you guys were doing.” she asked but his time
her voice louder.

“Sorry that we couldn’t say, but...” I started.

“We’re going out. You saw us, why would you ask?” Dongho
said to her in a disrespectful voice.

“Really? My, why didn’t you you tell me?” her voice
changed, high pitched and happy. Adding to that the
biggest smile I’ve seen so far. Dongho and I just looked
at teach other.

“Well then, you guys can go back to what you were doing. I
will leave you in peace.” she left the room.

“I didn’t know she would be happy. Her face expression
looked like she was horrified.” I went on the moment she
walked out. But Dongho didn’t care what I said. he grabbed
my waist.

*****Third Person POV*****

Ms. Shin walked out of the room and stood by the door. The
big smile slowly disappeared. Many thoughts were going
through her head. She slowly walked down stair. She sat
down in the sofa and grabbed the phone.

“Secretary Kim, get me all the information you can get on
a girl named Lim Jae In.” She hung up and waited for the
information to come.

*****Jae In POV*****

“You heared what she said.” Dongho said as he pulled me
closer.

“Stop it. You are such a with an innocent face. It’s
kind of gross.” I said.

“You little... you will pay for it.” Dongho let me go, but
instead started to tickled me. I dropped to the floor.

“Stop it! We don’t have a lot of time, we need to study.
Stop it before I make you stop.” I said as I squirmed
around. I had to put an end to this so I pinned him to the
floor, and then sat on top of him.

“I told you to stop.” I said as I started to tickle me.

“Stop it!” he pulled me off and pinned me down back. He
looked down at me.

“Get off!” I squirmed. He just bent down and kissed me. I
wanted to move away but I din’t. He was stronger than me
and I knew I waanted to kiss back also. So I did. I put my
arms around him. His hands, though, made me feel awkward
yet good. he took his right hand brushed my hair and
worked his way down. When he got to the end of my shirt,
he stopped. But not for long. Without knowing how, I
kicked him off.

“Oh! I’m sorry.” I said sitting up.

“Ouch! What was that for?” he yelled out rubbing his
stomach.

“You started it. Why would you try to put your hand
there?” I yelled back pulling down my shirt.

“Sorry. At the moment...” he started.

“Only thing you were thinking about was .” I finished.

“I didn’t mean that.”

“If we are not studying, I’m going.” I said getting up.

“Jae In ah, why are you being like this?” he grabbed me.

“I told you that I got new job, remember. Since we are not
studying anyways I’m gonna go work.” I rolled my eyes.

“Oh yeah! Do you have to go?” he pouted.

“You know that doesn’t work on me anymore.”

“Okay then, since we took the exam already and the after
tomorrow is a Saturday, you want to go to the amusement
park?” he asked.

“After we find out if we got in.”

“It’s tomorrow so that’s easy.”

“And you are so sure you got in how?”

“Because I have you. I know I will get in.”

“Come on. It’s not easy getting in Seoul National
University by studying for about two weeks.”

“I will, trust me.”

“Fine. I will see you tomorrow.”I kissed him goodbye.

*****THE NEXT DAY*****

When I got to school, Suzy and Soohyun already knew how
they did on the exam. By their face expression they
greeted me in, they got in the college they wanted to,
which was the same as Dongho and mine.

“I’m so proud of both of you both.” I said giving both of
them a hug.

“We should be saying that to you and Dongho.” Soohyun
said. Suzy nodded and pointed to the chart. My eyes grew
big. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. Dongho and I
both got into Seoul National University. Dongho hugged me
from the back.

“I told you I would get in.” he said in my ears. A smile
grew on my face.

“When did you get here? When did you see? I can’t believe
this!” I just went on and on. Dongho kissed me shut.

“You really need to learn when to stop.” I kissed him.

“So who wants to skip class and check out our future
school?” Soohyun whispered to us. And we all slowly walked
away from school.

“So amusement park tomorrow right?” Dongho said to me when
we finally got on the bus.

“Since we all got in.” A big smile grew on my face.

*****SATURDAY*****

I got up to get ready. I took a quick shower and got my
hair done. I decided to curl it slightly. I stood by my
pile of clothes wondering what is a good outfit for a date
at the amusement park. I picked out a black skinny jeans
with a green flowy tank. My cell rang.

“Hello?”

“Is this Lim Jae In’s phone?” the voice said.

“Yes. Who is this?” I asked.

“This is Dongho’s mother. I would like to see you.” she
said but seemed different.

“Uhmm, yes. Where would you like to meet?”

“There should be a car ready for you outside.” I got back
and ran out the door. There was a black car waiting. The
driver opened the door for me. It wasn’t a long ride but I
got more nervous as the time went by. The car took a stop
and the driver opened the door for me again.

“Thank you.” I said and walked into the cafe. I saw Mrs.
Shin sitting by the back. I quickly went over and sat
down.

“You’re here. Would you like something to drink?” she
asked without a smile.

“Orange juice is good. Sorry to say this but will this
take long?” I asked.

“Don’t worry, you won’t be late for the date.”

“Oh, you know.”

“I know everything, Jae In. More than you think. Let’s
start by me thanking you for helping my son get into Seoul
National University. But do you think it was all your
help?”

“Excuse me?”

“Dongho grew up knowing that even if he didn’t try, he
will get everything he wanted. And I will do anything to
get it for him. This also means his success.”

“I know this, but why are you telling met his?”

“Because I know you will ruin his life.”

“I will ruin his life...?”

“Yes. He got into that college because he got a decent
grade on that exam and he was able to afford it. None like
you. You had to get a high score and win a scholarship. I
don’t want such filthy girl around my precious child. Do
you get this?”

“You looked happy when you found out we were gong out...”

“And you were sure because? Let’s make this short. Here.”
Mrs. Shin gave a small plastic covered notebook and some
keys.

“What is this?” I questioned.

“This is a banking account in your name and it will be
filled every month of your life. The keys are for your
house.”

“What do you want me to do with this? Why are you giving
it to me?”

“I will give you this and you break up with my son.”

*****AFTER THE AMUSEMENT PARK*****

“That was fun!” I yelled to him. I led the way though.

“Yeah but where are we going?” he asked.

“I want to show you something.” We walked for like 10
minutes.

“Are we there yet?” We stopped.

“We are here. You know I had a great time today.”

“I had a good time also but why are we here?”

“You see that house?” I pointed to a big yellow house.

“What about the house.”

“It’s mine.”

“What?! When did you get a house?” I didn’t answer right
away.

“Your mother gave it to me.” His eyes grew wide.

“My mother gave it to you?”

“Yep with a bank account that will be filled every month.”

“Why did she give it to you?”

“She told me I can have it if I broke up with you.”

“And you took it?!” his voice got louder.

“Why wouldn’t I? The world is half men you know. I can
always get another boyfriend, but money doesn’t grow on
trees.”

“So what? What now?”

“I’m going to break up with you.”

“For money. You are breaking up with me for a house and
banking account?”

“Yes. I thought why not live a rich life for once. Okay,
since this is settled, I’m going.”

“You can’t leave me like this.” he grabbed my arms. I made
him let go.

“Why not?” he didn’t say anything so I walked away. He
didn’t know that tears were rolling down my cheeks as I
walked away.
