Song For Chapter: Dreams Come True By 4 Minute (God of
Study OST)

It’s a short chapter :) But I think you guys all know what
will happen by the title :P Hope you like it!

Jae In POV:

We walked into a entrance for nursery school.

“Come on. You are going to be late!” I said as I gave
Jaeho’s little arms a little tug. . We ran to the opening
where the teacher waved hi.

“It’s good to see you back. Did you have fun on your
trip?” the teacher asked Jaeho as she gave me a smile.

“Yes! It’s was so fun. I played so much!” Jaeho screamed.

“He must love it since you work as a teacher and
photographer.” the teacher turned to me to say.

“Yes. He loves it.” I said back.

“Come on, tell your mommy goodbye.” the teacher said to
Jaeho. Jaeho walked up to me and I bent my knees to get to
eye level.

“Bye, Mommy.Have a good day.” he said as he gave me a
kiss. I hugged him.

“You too. Have a good day.”

When I got up he turned quickly to run into the classroom
where there was his friends.

“I heard your having a special lesson today.” she asked me
before going in.

“Yes. I hope I do well.”

“I’m pretty sure you will. You raised Jaeho so well in
such a young age.”

“Ha! Don’t even mention that. I need to go. Please take
care of Jaeho.”

“Don’t worry.”

This was my daily routine. Walk my four years old son,
Jaeho, to his nursery and walk to my work. I now work as a
teacher at the high school I went. It felt weird at first
but I got used to it. In school I am called the so called
the “Uljjang Teacher” (uljjang means face good exactly
translated from Korean. So it means to have a good face.)
because boy students tend to have crushes on me and girls
admire me. I didn’t see why they do this but I didn’t mind
to much, I mean who would hate to be called an uljjang?
Though many were disappointed to find out that I had a
four years old son.

It was around my first break when I got a call from the
school nursery.

“Oh! Hello?” I said answering the phone.

“Hello? Is this Jaeho’s mother?” her voice was trembling.

“Is something wrong? Your voice.. it doesn’t sound so
secure...”

“You need to get here fast. Fast as you can.”

‘Why? Is something wrong with Jaeho? Is he sick?”

“He’s in the hospital. He was hit by a car.”

I dropped the phone. My mind was blank. I picked up the
phone again.

“How did this happen?” I said as tears began to roll.

“He was playing with his friends and a ball rolled out of
the gate. While I wasn’t looking, he went to get it.” she,
too, was crying.

“Where is this? What hospital?” I yelled.

“It’s the hospital by the nursery. I’m sorry. I should
have been more careful.”

I didn’t know how to respond so I hung up on her. I ran to
my principal.

“Jae In, what’s wrong?” she said to me.

“Can I get out right now?”

“Why? You have class soon.”

“My son... Jaeho has been in a car accident.”

The principals eyes grew big and gave me a nod. I ran out
the door. I didn’t have a car. I had to run there. it was
almost a thirty minute walk. I didn’t know what to do. I
ran as fast as I can.

‘Damn it! Why did I choose to where heels on such a day?”
I say to myself as I ran. When I turned the corner I hit
my legs on the corner of a cemented step. It started to
bleed but I had no idea this happened.

When I got to the hospital I was half sobbing. I walked up
to the counter.

“How may I help you?” the nurse said.

“I need to find my my son. He was in a car accident today.
Just now.” I said trying to stop from crying.

“Can I get his name?”

“Lim Jaeho.”

“He’s in surgery right now. You will need to wait awhile.”

“My poor baby.” I said as I dropped to the floor. The
nurse looked at me with concern.

“Oh! Here comes the doctor in charge. Doctor! Over here.”
the nurse yelled out. I got up and looked up.

“Lim Jae In...” he said. I looked closely it was Dongho.

“Dongho yah...” I said as my eyes drifted closed and fell
to the floor.
