Dongho POV

I looked into her eyes. It looked less frightened than
last time. She jerked right off.

“Sorry.” her voice was weak. I turned my head towards her,
but I only saw her head down.

“It’s not anyone fault for tripping.” I said to cheer up
the mood. But that didn’t help. There were silence, I was
afraid she would hear me breathe.

“How about we pretend like nothing happened? Starting from
when we first started and to now. Like we never met.” She
said with her weak voice.

“Or we can start over.”

“I’m gonna go back to Soohyun and Suzy.” she ignored me
and walked away. I followed her. When we walked out, Suzy
was still in Soohyun’s arms.

“You guys are done?” Suzy asked.

“Yep.” I replied. Jae In just nodded yes.

“Yo Dongho, it’s your first day in the school, shouldn’t
you treat your friends out?” Soohyun said while Suzy
looked at Jae In with concern.

“Sure. Pizza is okay right?” Suzy’s eyes widen from
happiness.

“I will be going then.” Jae In said breaking Suzy’s
excitement.

“Why?” Soohyun and Suzy said together.

“Yeah. You should come, you’re my friend, too.” I said
giving her a wink. Soohyun and Suzy looked confused. And
so did Jae In but played along anyways.

“Sure, pal. I love free food anyways.” she said with a
sarcastic voice and a wink. She linked arms with Suzy and
walked towards the entrance.

“Something happen in there?” Soohyun said as he gave me a
wink and ran off to Suzy. I quickly followed along.

*PIZZA STORE*

“So you know each other?” Suzy said as she gave a slice of
pizza to Soohyun.

“Yeah.” I replied.

“No.” Jae In said at the same time.

“You guys are getting suspicious here.” Soohyun said
teasingly. “So how did you guys meet?”

“I told you I didn’t know him. Do you know how much
trouble I would be in just sitting here with him?” Jae In
yelled out.

“She’s lying.” Suzy said teasingly also.

“I met her as Jang Mi first.” I said without even thinking
what Jae In would even say to me. And then noticed that
she was glaring at me.

“Really? So you know almost everything about her.” Suzy
said.

“How would he know that from one day? All we did was
fight.” Jae In interrupted. And whispered to me, “I
thought we were going to to forget about what happened.
That’s why I’m risking my life line to eat pizza with you.”

“Yeah, there is definitely something between them.”
Soohyun said to Suzy and she nodded yes.

“Fine. I’m going.” Jae In got up and left.

“Here. Eat all you want, my treat.” I said putting down
enough money for five pies of pizza and ran to catch up
with Jae In.

“Hey, wait up.” I yelled to her when I saw her. She turned
to check if it was me and continued walking. I had no
choice but to run to her.

“Why are you following me?” She said annoyed.

“I told you to wait up. Come on, lets just talk, we are
friends right?”

“No we are not. Our deal is off. You blurted out what we
promise. When those words went into Soohyun and Suzy’s
head, what you and I said to each other in the storage
room became nothing. So bye.”

“Come on...” I began to say when I noticed a familiar
faces. It was them... “How about we do this. I will give
you three wishes and I will give you three wishes. The
wishes can be used in anyway possible.”

“And this is beneficial to me how?”

“You can wish that I can stay away from you. But before
that, can I use mine first?”

“This sounds interesting. But depends on what your wish
is. It better be good.”

“Can you be my bodyguard?”
