LAST CHAPTER :)
Jae In POV:
When I woke up, Dongho was still sleeping by my side. He
was smiling. Maybe a good dream. His smile made me smile.
I got up, put on his button down. I went into the kitchen.
I was dying of hunger. I dug through his fridge. There was
nothing I can eat without cooking.
“Damn it!” I said as I sat on the sofa. I got the
phonebook out and flipped through the pages. I laid down
to find Dongho staring at me from the bed. I got up.
“What are you doing?” Dongho asked as he got up and put
his head down on my lap.
“I was hungry. But you have nothing in your fridge. What
do you eat everyday?” I asked as I played with his hair.
“I’m a doctor. I practically live in the hospital.
Obviously I have no food here.”
“Can we order something? I’m dying here.”
“Why don’t we get ready and eat at the hospital with
Jaeho?”
“He’s probably not awake. But we should go anyways.” We
got up and got dressed. When I got in the passenger seat,
I took out a small but thick book.
“What’s that?” Dongho said as he put his seat belt on.
“It’s a baby journal of Jaeho. I made it just in case... I
might have the courage to tell you.” I whispered. He took
it and flipped through each page.
“Why did you give birth to Jaeho?” He finally said.
“I was going to get rid of him... but that was all I had
left... he gave me a reason to live on and remember you.”
He didn’t say anything but started the car.
When we went into Jaeho’s room, he was still fast asleep.
I went over to him. I sat down and grabbed his tiny hands.
Dongho should by my right and he gave me a hug.
“Thank you.” Dongho said to me.
“For what?”
“For not giving up on Jaeho. For giving me a reason to
never leave you ever again.” he handed me a box.
‘What is this?” I opened it. It was a ring.
“I got it for us five years ago. I was going to give it to
you the day you left.”
“That was the day I was going to tell you about Jaeho...”
“Jae In ah... Will you marry me?” I turned to him.
“Yah! Why are you doing this all of a sudden?”
“It’s not all of a sudden. I told you I wanted to give it
to you five years ago. So will you?” I didn’t say anything
for awhile. I nodded.
“Okay. I will.” He smiled and put the ring on me. he took
his hand out and showed me he was wearing his.
“I’ve been wearing it since.” he leaned over and kissed
me.
“Mommy?” Jaeho said as he slowly opened his eyes. We
pulled off each other fast.
“Jaeho yah... why did you wake up?” I asked.
“I heard mommy and daddy’s voice.” he said rubbing his
eyes.
“Are you hungry?” Dongho asked him.
“YES! I’m hungry! I’m really really hungry!” Jaeho yelled
out smiling.
“Okay then, let’s go.” Dongho opened his arms and Jaeho
hopped on.
“Isn’t he suppose to stay in bed?”
“I’m he doctor.” Dongho said as got Jaeho’s jacket on for
him. When Jaeho go this jacket on, he hopped back into
Dongho’s arms. Dongho left the room with Jaeho. I followed
him. When he stepped out of the room, every person looked
at them. Everyone was whispering to each other.
“Put him down. Everyone is looking.” I whispered to
Dongho.
“Guess what everyone?” he yelled out.
“What are you doing?” I asked.
“We are getting married.” I glared at him.
“Yah!”
“You want to know something more surprising? Jaeho is my
son!” Everyone gasped.
“So the ring you had on... it was so you can marry her?” a
nurse asked.
“Yes. For five years I’ve waited... only for her.” he
turned to me. He leaned over and gave me a peck on the
lips. My eyes turned round because of the surprise.
Everyone squealed in surprise.
“Daddy! I thought we are going to eat.” Jaeho yelled out.
“We are going. Come on.” He began to walk again. While we
were walking, we passed by the cafeteria. I smelled food.
I was hungry but I felt nauseous. I began to retch. Dongho
turned to me.
“Are sick, Mommy?” Jaeho asked.
“No... I’m fine.” I retch again.
“It would be okay for us to eat a little later right?”
Dongho asked Jaeho.
“Yes, but is Mommy sick?”
“No, she’s fine.” I looked at him, and he had a big smile
on his face.
“You know I’m not fine. Why would you just tell him that?”
I whispered to him.
“Come on. We are going back up.”
We made our way back up. When we did, he turned towards
the obstetrics and gynecology office. I stopped.
“Are you thinking that I might be pregnant?” I asked
Dongho.
“Yep. I think you are. You can’t be so sure unless you
check it out. Come on.”
While holding Jaeho’s hand on his right, he pulled me with
his left. We walked in. We sat by the bench.
“Daddy? Am I getting a dongsaeng?” Jaeho asked.
“Most likely.” Dongho replied. I glared at him.
“Lim Jae In?” I heard a voice say. It was a nurse. We got
up and walked in.
“Dongho yah! Jae In ah! Uh! Jaeho yah! The whole family!”
It was Suzy and Soohyun
“And you just happen to be here?” I asked.
“Yes. It’s my working hours. It’s my job, you know.
Soohyun is here to help me.” Suzy said.
“Yah. Can you do a check up on her?” Dongho said.
“Is she sick?” Soohyun asked.
“I’m not sick?” I say.
“But I think she might be pregnant.” I glared at Dongho.
“Really? Okay wait a little bit.” she got her gears set up
and told me to sit down. I laid flat on the seat. She did
what she needed to. She took a pause.
“Am I right?” Dongho said.
“Jaeho yah... looks like you are going to get a donsaeng.”
A smile grew on Dongho and Jaeho’s face. I wanted to smile
but tears rolled down my cheeks.
“Jae In ah... why are you crying?” Soohyun asked.
“Because I’m so happy.” I said. Dongho smiled.
The family of four lived happily ever after.
okay so that ends my first ever fanfic :) I hope you guys
enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. I have
in mind another topic for a new fanfic so watch out for a
new fanfic written by me :) TOODLES!
P.S.: Sorry Gabs, I didn’t know where to put your name...
I mean adding hobo in a moments like this might seem
awkward. Maybe in my next one :P
P.S.S.: Does anyone know if we are suppose delete our
usernmaes if we want to write another fanfic with the same
username? Does the story get deleted if we delete
username? If anyone can help me, I will love you a
bundle :)
