Jae In POV

The cans roll to my feet. Dongho eyes stared at me with
confusion and yet a hint of bliss.

“We have a patient soon, so we’ll be going.” Suzy got up
and pulled Soohyun up. They left and Dongho walked closer
to me.

“What did you just say?” he asked.

“I left you because I overheard you tell your mother that
I was just a play. A one shot thing.” I took breaks as I
said it so I could try to hold in my tears.

“I never said that!” he yelled.

“I was there! So now I heard something wrong? So I’m going
crazy now? Why don’t I get a check up since I’m in the
hospital anyways!” I yelled back. I turned and began to
walk away.

“Stop right there!” he yelled. I didn’t stop. I kept
going. He grabbed my arms and pulled me back to where we
were before.

“Don’t touch me!” I said as I got his hand off me.

“Listen to me!”

“No. I have nothing to hear from you!”

“I will tell you what I said. So stay and listen.” I
couldn’t leave. I wanted to know what he said.

“Go.”

“Tell me again what you heard.”

“You were playing with me. It was a one shot deal.”

“So you heard that.”

“You did say that.”

“I did.” My eyes grew big. Tears began to form. I just
glared at him.

“So I was right.”

“Yes. But there was more. Which you probably didn’t hear
because you always hear the things you want to hear.”

“There was more?”

“Yep. I said to my mom that she hasn’t changed one bit.
That even in her dreams she won’t see me without you. So
if you don’t like me being with you then she can just not
see me.”

I couldn’t say anything. I just stood there.

“You have no evidence to this.” I said in low voice.

“Have you heard how you know when you are fated to be with
someone?” he asked and he took a step closer.

“What are you talking about?” I took a step back.

“I’m talking about us. First time we met, it was total
accidental. The second was intentional by me. And the
third. It has to be fate.” he took couple of steps until I
had no where to go.

“You’ve got to be kidding me.” I pushed him off.

“DOCTOR!” the nurse ran over.

“What?” he said annoyed at the interruptance.

“Jaeho...” she began to say. We both turned.

“What about him!” I yelled out.

“Something is wrong.” We both began to run to Jaeho.

Yes a short chapter but I think it will be good enough to
grab more attention.
