Dongho POV

“Can you believe we have to take it soon?” Soohyun groaned
as he sat down with his tray.

“What?” I asked. Suzy, Jae In, and Soohyun all just stared
at me.

“You don’t know?” Jae In asked back.

“Yes, that’s why I asked.” I replied.

“Are you an idiot?” Jae In questioned.

“I guess I am.” I replied acting a little grumpy.

“Sorry... but how can you not know? You come to school.”
she questioned.

“Are you sure you don’t know?” Suzy asked.

“Yeah, it’s the most important thing of our life as
seniors!” Soohyun said.

“Yes. Okay then, I’m a dumb-. Now can you please just
tell me?” I said finally getting sick of this crap.

“The college test. You know the test we need to take in
order to get to college...” Jae In said with concern.

“We need to take it in two weeks.” Suzy said also with
concern.

“Did you really not know?” Soohyun yelled out finally
realizing it wasn’t a joke.

“WHAT! When did this happen?” I yelled out.

“That’s what happens if you only come to school to see
your girlfriend.” Soohyun said looking towards Jae In.
Yes. This was true. Finally she was my girl and I did only
come to school to see her.

“No, that’s what happens if you sleep through all your
classes. And you, my friend, shouldn’t be talking.” Jae In
said looking at Suzy. Suzy just smiled.

“You weren’t studying for this?” Suzy said still giggly
from the comment from before.

“When do yu see me study?” I asked her.

“What are you going to do then? Two weeks is not a lot of
time you know.” Soohyun asked.

“Like you said. I do come to school to see my girlfriend.
And my girlfriend just ahppens to be the one that ranks
first place in every exams.” I winked at Jae In.

“Oh... Don’t tell me.” she started to get up.

“Come on. I want to go to the same college as you. Don’t
you?” I said giving a slight pout.

“I do but sleeping on book will not solve this problem.
You can’t study all of a sudden and get into a college.”
She said. I knew it was true. But I couldn’t just sit
there waiting for a college to welcome me in, which is
unrealistic.

”You never know until you try right?” I asked now doing
a full pout. Soohyun made a grossed out face but I ignored
it.

“I guess.” she said.

“Help him. He wants to go to the same college. How cute is
that?” Suzy said.

“Cute? You think that is cute? I said I wanted to go to
the same college as you too. You never said anything
then.” Soohyun said with a frown. Suzy glared at him.

“Stop being so obnoxious.” Suzy poked him.

“Fine. Yeah you need to help him. He’s not getting into
any college with the brain of his.” Soohyun said and Suzy,
Jae In and I stared him down. Jae In kicked him, I punched
him, and Suzy poked him.

“OUCH! I can’t say a word around you people.” Soohyun
yelled out.

“Fine. But this time we are going to your house.” she said
as she left.

DING DONG DANG DONG!
(class bell to tell school is over)

“let’s go!” Jae In said with great excitement.

“Come one. Why my house? We can go to your house or the
hide out.” I whined.

“We’ve been there. I never been to your house. Please?”she
said as she began to start her world famous puppy face.

“Oh stop that! You know I can’t say no.” I said as he eyes
grew wider and wetter.

“Pweese?” now she was pouting. She is winning me over with
this all the time. And this time will be successful also.

“Jae In ah...” I sighed.

“Pweese”

“Fine!” a big smile grew on her face, which made me smile.

“Yes!” she yelled out.

“Just promise you won’t get surprised.” I said as I led
the way.

“Why would I be surprised?” she asked with her big
twinkling eyes.

“I’m just saying.” I said pulling her close.

“Okay.” she said with a smile. We walked to my house,
holding each others hands tightly.

“Okay, we’re here.” I pointed to teh big white house. Jae
In’s eyes grew big.

“That house?” she asked.

“I thought we agreed to not being surprised.” I opened the
gate. I had to pull her in. I took out my keys and opened
the door.

“I’m home.” I yelled out. A mother walked over.

“You’re home so soon? Oh, we have a guest. You are?” my
mother said to Jae In.

“She’s here to help me study.” I told her.

“I asked her, hon.” My mother said right away.

“Hello. My name is Lim Jae In. I’m int he same class as
Dongho. I’m here to help Dongho study for an exam.” She
said politely, not losing her smile.

“Nice to meet you. What test are you talking about? Is it
the college one?” my mother asked again.

“Yes, mom. Are you going to keep us standing here?” I said
getting annoyed at her.

“Oh my, sorry sweetie, where’s my manners? welcome. come
on in.” my mother said to Jae In.

“We will be in my room...” I began to say.

“And I will bring you something to eat.” mother seemed
cheerful.

“Thanks mom. Come one.” I led the way up to my room.

“Wow.” she finally said.

“Geez, I thought we agreed to this!” I said as we entered
my room.

“Sorry. You’re mother is pretty and cheerful.”

“I know. But she’s only cheerful because I have a friend
over for the first time.”

“You never had a friend over?”

“I move a lot because of my father’s job. So I never had
the chance to make friends or even bring them home.”

“Oh...”

“It’s okay. I will go get an extra chair.” Even though I
wasn’t with her that the moment, I knew all she did was
explore my room. Since I been to her one room house, I
knew it was something that she only dreamed of.

******A WEEK LATER*****

It was like any other day, even though we had already taken the test. We walked to my house, holding
hands and just studied. For the whole week, my mother
greeted Jae In with a smiled and gave her the comfort she
needed. likw always, he greeted each other and went
upstairs.

“I’m going to change.” I said. She just nodded yes.

When I cam back, I saw her looking at my photo album for
the tenth time. I walked over and hugged her from the
back.

“Holy...! You scared me.” said giving my arms a smack.

“How many times are you going to look at that? I asked.

“You were so cute when you were a baby.” she answered.

“You are cute too.” I said in her ear. She titled her head
and shrugged her shoulders to tell me it tickled.

“Stop it! You’re mother is home.” she said as she turned
around. but I still had my arms around her,

“Does that mean you are willing to do something with me if
my mother wasn’t home?” I said.

“You ! No. Stop it and sit down so we can get
started.” she said trying to walk to her bag.

“A kiss, please? Just one.” I aid as I pulled her closer.

“Later. No, tomorrow.” she said still trying to walk away.

“Please..?”

“Fine.” she gave a light peck.

“I said a kiss not a peck.” I kissed her and she kissed
back. I made my arms tight around her an she put her arms
around my head.

“Do you guys... wh... what...what are you guys doing?” we
jerked off each other to see that my mother was watching.
And she didn’t have a smile.
