The music pumped loudly, your body threatening to move to the beat. "Come to the club, they said, we won't drink," you mumbled to yourself, watching your two best friends throw back shots then falling off of their stools. You started to regret even coming out, but a voice broke into your thoughts. "Hi, I saw you from across the bar and you didn't look like you were having much fun," the man smiled. You shifted slightly in your seat, Just another drunk, you thought quietly. "No, I'm having loads of fun," you replied sarcastically, sipping your coke. He nodded, flipping his dark brown hair out of his eyes. "Well maybe the pretty lady would like to go dancing with me?" He asked, motioning to the overly crowded dance floor. You turned your stool and looked at him. Definitely sober, you thought to yourself, he's not slurring or stumbling but then why would he want to dance with me?  You shook your head and stood up to leave the club. "Maybe I can get your number and we can meet up another time?" He asked smiling, and as dazzling as it was you refused, walking towards the dance floor. As you pushed through the crowd, you glanced back at where you had been sitting. The man was still there but he had his forehead in his hand, shaking his head. You shook your head again and walked out of the bumping club. Whatever trouble your friends go into was their fault now.

Suddenly, a hand reached out and grabbed your arm, pulling you into the alley beside the building. Fear overtook your body as a masked man held a knife to your throat. "Give me your purse or I'll kill you right here," he said harshly, grabbing a handful of your hair. You reached for your purse slowly, trying not to freak out or scream. "Excuse me sir," a familiar voice said. Your head shot over to see who the voice belonged to. The man from the bar ran up, tackling the robber to the ground, sending the knife flying down the alley. Clenching your eyes shut, your body collapsed to the ground out of fear. For the next few minutes all you heard were shouts and groans of pain. A hand reached out and lightly grabbed your shoulder. You flinched, prepared for the worst, surely the nice guy was knocked out by now. "Hey, come on, I'll walk you home," the man said. You took his hand and stood up, noticing how hypnotizing his eyes were. Shivering in the cold of the night, you involuntarily leaned into him. Noticing your shivers, he took off his jacket and wrapped it around you along with his arm. After a few minutes of walking, the man decided to break the silence. "I'm Jinyoung by the way, Jung Jinyoung," he said softly, trying not to startle you. Your eyes flickered up to him for a second before focusing back on the sidewalk. "_____," you replied, barely making a sound and still certain this guy was a creep. "I'm sorry about earlier, back at the club. That was really creepy and stupid," he apologized, hand not removed from your shoulder. You stopped walking and stood at the stairs of your apartment building. "Maybe we should get to know each other a different way," you said smiling, uncertain of what you were doing. He looked down at you and smiled. "Okay Sure, we can start over, Would you like to go get coffee with me tomorrow?" He asked grinning. You smiled and nodded happily. "Okay! I'll pick you up at noon," he smiled, turning to walk away. "Wait, don't you need my phone number first?" You asked, tilting your head to the side. He laughed and scratched the back of his head while handing you his phone. After you typed in your number and sent a quick text to your phone, you handed his phone back to him and walked up to the door. "Good night ______-ssi!" He said smiling and waving cutely. You smiled and said a quick goodnight before walking into the building.
