“from our best students, I welcome you..”

Nervous in my throat, the assembly feels so tense, I listen to the announcement, the teacher smiled.

“Jo Kwang Min! chukkhaeyo!” everybody applauded.

‘no..’ I feel teary inside as I look at the boys side, Kwangmin on his feet to the stage to be awarded by the teacher.

“the second goes to Hyun ~~~”

I smile as everybody look at me, I went to the stage. Shaking hand with the teachers and getting a medal for my grades, Kwangmin eyed me.

After the assembly I went to the school roof.

Closing the door behind and sitting on the floor and leaning my back on the wall. I heave a heavy sigh and my eyelids forming hot tears.

“why..”

Tears rolling down my cheek.

“I could have done better, I’m such a loser in life”

“no you’re not, you did great”

“huh?”

I turn to my right.

“Kwangmin”

*Kwangmin’s Pov*

As the assembly finish I quickly look for ~~~. I hope she is fine, by the way she look just then is like she is about to cry.

I glance quickly at the crowd and saw a familiar figure, I’m sure it’s her. She’s heading to the roof?

She close the door to the roof shut, I waited a couple of minutes before going to roof.

“why..” it is her.

“I could have done better, I’m such a loser in life”

My heart ached by the sound of her voice.

“no you’re not, you did great” I spoke.

“huh?” she turn to me “Kwangmin” another tear roll down her cheek. I bent down to her and wiper her tears.

“you did well” I smiled and patted her head. She look at me, her eyes widen and her cheeks turn red.

“Kwangmin..” she called me softly.

“do you want to follow me tonight?” I ask her.

“what?” she made an awed face. Maybe shock by my question.

“I want to take you to somewhere” I smiled, to make her feel better but I think her cheeks had turn hot red “wait for me at the park near your house tonight” with that I left.

“mom I’m going out!” I put on a gray turtle neck long sleeved sweater and a black jacket along with a red scarf around my neck and a pair of black jeans.

I head to the park that I had promise to wait for ~~~ and look around before resting myself on the swing. I waited for her until I heard running footsteps coming towards me. I eyed the person to see it was her, huffing to catch her breath as she stopped in front of me.

“sorry I’m late” she wiped her sweats on her forehead.

“it’s ok” she look so nice. Even with her dorky glasses on. “shall we go?”

“where are you taking me anyway?” she ask.

“somewhere” I smiled.

I walk the path to the café I went yesterday, I wanted to see the magic show with her, it must be fun, I thought as we keep on walking and I didn’t even realize it was getting awkwardly silent.

“are you ok?” I ask to the break the awkwardness.

“yeah, she smiled simply. “where are you taking me anyway?” she ask.

“well, yesterday  I went to a café” I started “let’s just say there’s something at the café” I smiled and look at her, her face seems red, is she blushing?

*your pov*

Well, the fact that I know what is held at the café because I was the waitress talking to you yesterday, is that weird? I hope they didn’t recognized me.
