School had finally ended and you exited the school building happily, eager to find the boys. As soon as you stepped out of the school area, your whole vision went blank for a second then stood  before you was no other than Kai and Suho. Not to mention your surroundings were a little different.

"What on earth..?" You asked, blinking and scanning your surroundings. You were in the library now with Kai and Suho, "Did you just-" "Teleport you? Yeah." Kai cut you off and gave you a small smile before pulling out a chair.

Kai sat on it and Suho went over to his side. You noticed the unusual way of Suho's walking. It was different and looked like he was limping his way over. "Are you okay?" You asked and went over to Suho's side, you helped him with his seat and sat next to him. 

"I'm fine. Just a little bruised. But I'll be alright." Suho assured you with a smile and you just nodded, "What happened exactly? You two look... defeated." You said and eyed Kai then back to Suho. 

"We met Luhan." Kai began and you turned your head to him with big wide eyes. "And?" You asked, eager to know. 

"He was with that evil man we met in the orphanage." Kai said and sighed once more. "He nearly killed him, but we saved him. He's safe now, Suho put a protection over him." You turn to Suho and raised a brow, "Protection? What kind?" 

Suho just wordlessly grabbed your wrist and you watched as he showed you Luhan's logo on your palm, the logo still remained a faint glow but a new addition was added to it. It had a light blue glow above it.

"That's the protection." Suho said. "It's just so the evil man won't be able to find him for a short while." 

"So Luhan is just temporary safe. Does he know about you two being his brothers and that he has supernatural powers?" You asked and eyed the both of them, Kai just turn his gaze to Suho and Suho just responded with a silent treatment.

You just let out a sigh, "Come on guys, this isn't over! Luhan's safe. You two are alright! Well, except for you Suho." You turn to Suho and Suho just stare at you. "But, you'll be fine soon. We can go and defeat this evil man once more and-" "We can't defeat him." Suho cut you off and you stopped talking immediately.

"Why? Is he that strong?" You asked which sounded dumb coming from you, technically you were the one that ended up in the hospital because of that evil bastard. 

"He's strong. Very strong. He wants our powers." Suho began, staring straight at Kai. Kai just stared back at him as if that's their way of warning each other. "But I don't know why." He added. "He can powers out of us, and basically demolished our existence on this planet. I've seen it, he uses two ways. One, a black fireball and two, a black orb." 

"Why a fireball and an orb?" You asked. 

"Many of our brothers have not fully awakened to their true forms. Therefore, they are in great danger and easier to demolished. He uses the fireball to burn their bodies to ashes, and when the human form is gone. What's left is our core, which is the heart to our powers. He takes that way. And for the orb, it's meant for us." Suho stopped and turn to look at Kai.

Kai just stare at his brother, he was silent. At first he was angry that Suho didn't know how to take care of the beast itself. But Kai remembered and understands how dangerous that orb must have been. Because if he hadn't come and save Suho at that nick of time, Suho himself will be forever gone.

And in that nick of time that he had save Suho, he felt that orb's energy. 

"Because we have fully awakened, our powers are all over us. In our hands, feet, eyes, and even the heart, our powers were created for a reason. They were created to protect others and something that our father treasures. But, it is also created to protect ourselves. The orb creates a dark negative energy that the power from us and into the orb itself. Making us powerless and easy to defeat. Which is why, we can't defeat him. Just not now. We're not ready." Suho finished and just leaned back on his chair.

The room was quiet and the three of you were silent after Suho's speech. You just stare at Kai then at Suho, both looking sad and feeling hopeless. "Well," You said, trying to break the sad moment. "There is always a way." 

Kai just look at you, "For once, you just said something useful." He smiled and you just smiled back. 

"I have a plan." Kai exclaimed and Suho turn his gaze to him. "And what is that plan?" He asked, curious. 

"Remember how I contacted you," Kai began and Suho nodded. "Well, you told me today that each of our power's usefulness can be increased through our knowledge." Suho nodded again.

Kai just smirked at the both of you. "I think I just figured out a way to contact our brothers through the art of dancing." "But you can't awaken them yet, it's not natural if you're doing it on force." You cut in and Kai just rolled his eyes. "Who said anything about awakening, you bimbo! Of course I know that each of our time comes naturally. Maybe I can't force them to awaken yet, but I can give them hopeful messages. Whatever trouble they are in and have faced, at least they know, deep down there is a family fighting for them. And they should fight back too." 

"Wow, for once you spoke something that's wise. Must be the cause of Suho's speech." You said casually but regretted it immediately when both the brothers gave you the look that clearly says they are not amused.

"Yoonji." Kai called, you just look at him. "Trivia time for the diary." He said and your expression changed immediately. "Um, I have a confession to tell... That diary, I haven't read it yet." You said, and tried to keep your cool which wasn't working because you kept laughing nervously infront of them.

"What's D.O's power?" Kai asked, obviously ignoring your confession. You just froze on the spot and tried to think of the answer. "D.O, his power? Um... It should be... Erm.. What was it again... It's..." 

"Earth." Suho said, cutting you off. "His power is Earth." 

"Thanks brother. And no thanks to you, you lazy pig." "Yah! You-" 

"Okay, come with me. We've got work to do. And you miss piggy," Kai started to made his way to the exit. "What?" You asked with annoyance. "Maybe it's time you start reading that diary." He said and walked out of the library.

"Yeah, you really need to get started." Suho said as he walked pass you. You just sighed and groaned loudly. "Alright! I'll start reading it! But why am I the only one who has to read it? Is there a difference?" You asked as you tried to catch up with them.

"Like I said before," Suho turn his gaze to you while strolling next to Kai. "You have our dad's power, he chose you for a reason. Maybe you can unsolve a hidden mystery he had wrote in that diary of his." Suho flashed a smile at you before turning his head back to the front.

You felt happy knowing that, at least someone makes you feel like your existence matters in this world. *I can do this.* You thought to yourself and smiled.

The three of you made it to an empty area with a field of grass, next to it was a river and a bridge with evening cars honking their way home. You sat down on the grass with your bagpack next to you, you had the diary out and was reading it. 

Suho had disappeared off to town to buy some dinner while Kai was doing his warm up. You flipped open the pages and started to read the diary, at first you found the diary slightly boring but after a few pages, the story of their father's life made you more interested than ever.
