New Job
Dear EXO, She's YoursIt was 9 in the morning and Luhan had just arrived at the building, standing in front of it, his eyes scanning the building up and down. "Wow." He said and adjusted his gaze back to the front door. He made his way into the building, again, the feeling of luxury welcomed him and all he could he see was shining things.
Shiny floor. Shiny table. Shiny chandeliers. Shiny glass windows. Everything was practically shining right in front of him.
"Luhan." A voice called out and Luhan turned his attention to the sound of the voice. The man who had offered him the job stood at the far side of the building, standing right in front of a row of elevators, he was smiling at him, and again he had sunglasses on. Luhan went over to his side and bowed. "Hello." He said. "I'm here for the dancing job."
The man took off his sunglasses, Luhan can now see his eyes, they were sharp but at the same time gentle. "Come with me. I'll bring you to Jongin. He's probably in the middle of filming but you can get a head start of him by having your makeup and hair done." He then turn his back and pushed the button of the elevator. The elevator opened up immediately and he got in.
Luhan cautiously entered the elevator and the door closed up. It was awkward with the man alone, really quiet and Luhan didn't know what to talk about. He was doing all of this for his studio, his dream and his promise.
"So, what do you think of Jongin?" The man spoke all of a sudden surprising Luhan. Luhan just replied nervously. "Erm, I think he is a very excellent boy with good features. And, oh! He has a sense of charm to him that's unique." Luhan went on with the compliments that he could think of at the spot. Truth is, he didn't know how to compliment Jongin besides his looks, besides, Luhan has never really known this guy.
"Yeah, he has all those good traits. What do you think of his personality?" He asked, Luhan just stare at the guy with a baffled look, but then stare right back at the elevator. The elevator was still going up. Looks like the elevator isn't stopping anytime soon.
"Personality... Um, well... I think Jongin is...Err.." His words trailed off as he didn't know how to describe Jongin's personality. "He's very.. erm-" And that's when a sudden wave hit him. "Cocky." That word just slipped out all by itself and when Luhan had just realize what he had said. He gasped and took a quick glance at the man.
The man was looking at him with a surprised look. Luhan just bowed and apologize profusely towards him. *! What have I done? Cocky? Where did that come from?*
"I'm really sorry sir. I don't know what came over me. I didn't had coffee this morning, I didn't mean what I said. I-I-Um," And that's when the man started to laugh and Luhan stopped stuttering, he was watching how the man laughed in pleasure.
"You really just said the exact word of Jongin." He laughed some more. "He is exactly what you described. Cocky. I've seen how he grew up in this industry. He hates modelling, but he's doing all of it because of his mother. Well, that is another story. You my boy," He turned to Luhan and Luhan just stare at him.
The man was smiling at him, "You're very unique. You have that same aura Jongin has." Luhan just stare at him for a long time until the elevator stopped all of a sudden with a 'ding' sound. "It's our stop." He said and stepped out of the elevator, Luhan followed behind him.
His mind was still thinking about the conversation they had just now when the man said that he and Jongin was exactly alike. Luhan felt like those words are him are somewhat true. *Ridiculous..* He shook his head at the thought of it. *I don't even know that boy.*
The man led him to a room and Luhan got in, "Here is where you'll be shooting. I'll be going back to my office. I've got other things to do. Good luck Luhan." He gave Luhan one last smile. As he was about to leave Luhan called out to him. "Um, sir!"
The man stopped and turn to him, "Yes?" He asked. "What's your name?" Luhan blurted all of a sudden, which took the man by surprise and he laughed a bit. Luhan just realize what he did was pretty dumb too, what he did just now was a bit rude and sudden because he's the boss.
"Um, let me rephrase my question. What should I call you?" He asked again. The man just gave him a big warm smile. "You can call me Mr. Hyun. But, you can also call me hyung. I have a feeling will be close to each other in the future." And he closed the door behind him. Luhan just stood there, smiling. "Hyung..."
"Okay, are you the new guy?" A lady's voice interrupted his thoughts, Luhan turn to his right and a petite looking lady was standing before him with a clipboard in her hands. "Er, yeah." Luhan nodded.
"Welcome to the company. I'll be your asistant today since you're knew. Right now, we need to get you changed and be prepared. Follow me." She smiled and started to walk to a side of the room where there was a row of mirrors of chairs. It was obvious that this was the make up section, Luhan cautiously went over, examining every single thing about the room.
On the other side of the room was the shooting scene as Luhan saw some lights flashed across, he couldn't really see well because there was wall blocking the sight of it, but he hear
