Type Of Story/Genre: Sad but with a happy ending.

Setting: SM building and SHINee's dorm

Plot/ Summary: Soolin was a new soloist in SM, and Key liked her very much but never told her his feelings, until one day she started going out with Taemin. That broke Key's heart and he decided to leave the move in. Soolin actually liked Key too, but she went out with Taemin because he pretty much BEGGED her. After 1 year like that, Soolin decided to confess to Key but surprisingly, he rejected her. (It it continues...)

Soolin’s POV~

“Soolin where’s your head at! Concentrate!” My dance teacher snapped at me. I knew better than to talk back so I simply followed her directions and tried the same dance move again, one that she made me repeat at least 50 times today.

“I swear, I hope Lee Soo Man knows your current level. I don’t know what that man is thinking of putting you as a solo artist.” Some of the other trainees whisper at me. You heard that right, I’m to debut as a solo artist soon. Well, more like tomorrow.

“Oops.” A trainee said and stuck her foot out under me. I was too lost in my own thoughts to think quickly and ended up falling on my arm, feeling a seering pain shooting up.

“Get up Soolin!” In this entertainment company, you get no mercy. If your starving, then they cheer because they believe it’s called a diet, if you faint on stage; they’re happy they gain publicity. It’s a vicious life I tell you.

“Y-yes Miss Park.” I said and stumbled up to my knees. I could barely move my right arm and she simply looked at me with distaste.

“Go away; come back when you’re willing to try.” She spat and everyone in that room snickered. Once I stepped outside and I shut the door behind me, a hand shot up out of nowhere and covered my eyes.

“Guess who.” I instantly recognized that voice and couldn’t help but smile. He’s one of the few things that are a positive thing in my life right now.

Key’s POV~

She gently placed my hands away from her face and gave me those smiles that I never get tired of.

“Hey, how have you been? I haven’t seen you around as much.” I asked. She was about to answer when Taemin suddenly came running up to her and tacking her in a bear hug.

“Noona! Where did you wanna go on our date today?!” I gulped down and felt my adam’s apple move. Date?

“Aish get off of me Taemin!” She complained and help her right arm to her chest. I saw it was a bright shade of red and it looked a little swollen.

“Soolin what’s wrong?” I ask and gently take her arm. She flinches when I pressed against it and Taemin yelled out,

“Omo Soolin-noona did someone hurt you?! Are you gonna die on me?! NO!!! I finally got a date with you and you die on me?!”

“Taemin shut up!” Soolin scolded and I could only smirk at her retort.

“Wanna go to our dorm? I can at least wrap your arm up.” I offered and she gave me an appreciative smile.

“Yeh, kamsahamnida.” As we were walking I couldn’t help but over think what happened earlier. Taemin and Soolin are going out? I shouldn’t get in the way, especially since Taemin’s my band mate and friend. Yet, I look over at Soolin and can’t help but get all warm inside. No, stop thinking like that. Taemin’s already going out with her. From then on, I promised I would simple give up and let them be together.

Soolin’s POV~

It’s been practically a year since I debuted and I haven’t gotten a chance to hang out with any of my friends. Super Junior was busy promoting their “Mr. Simple” so I rarely saw my oppas, SHINee was working on their Japanesse “Juliette” album, and SNSD unnies were nowhere to be found. Aigoo~

“Noona!~” Oh no, I know that all too familiar voice. Before I could make a run for it, he already tackled me from behind and I could smell the banana milk wafting from his lips.

“Noona did you miss us? I came back to Seoul! S-E-O-U-L hamkke bulleobwayo kkumi irweojil areumdaun sesang.” He chanted singing SNSD’s and Super Junior’s “Seoul Song.”

“Wait, all of you guys are back?” I asked feeling my mouth go dry. I felt Taemin’s head nod on my shoulder and he listed all of his band mates.

“Minho-hyung, Onew-hyung, Jonghyun-hyung, Key-hyung.”  My heart skipped a beat when I heard Key’s name.

“I gotta go Taemin.” I muttered and ran off to the SHINee dorm.

“Wait noona  I wanted to go on a date with you!” He begged but it’s not gonna work this time. Although he begged once and I gave in, it’s not gonna work this time.

Key’s POV~

I heard a knock on the door and the other members went out god knows where. I heard a desperate knock again and finally decided to open it, to see Soolin standing there out of breath.

“Soolin? What are you doing here?” I ask surprised yet glad she came.

“I-I heard you got back and I wanted to see for myself.” She replied shyly staring down at her feet.

“Ne Key, can I tell you something?” She suddenly asks and she has such a determined look on her face I try to hold back my laughter.

“Yeh?”

“I-Ilike you. I like you more than a friend should.”

Soolin’s POV~

It was a now or never type of moment and I felt my heart pounding away at my chest. It’s not fair that Key had such a great poker face. When he opened his mouth, my heart crumbled.

“I don’t like you like that Soolin.” It hurt hearing that so I gave him a childish nod and turned around, ready to plop down on my bed and cry. Yet instead I felt a pair of warm hands wrap themselves around my waist and I heard him whisper,

“I don’t like you like that Soolin. I love you.”
