Jonghyun’s POV~

“SunMi please?~” I plead tugging at SunMi’s arm.

“What do you want Kim Jonghyun?” She asked in an annoyed tone.

“Why don’t you like me?” I ask pouting. She rolls her eyes and me and says,

“I do like you.” If I were a dog, my tail would be wagging a mile a minute.

“Really?” I ask with hope in my tone.

“Nope.” She replies with this face: ^.^

“Why don’t you like me SunMi? I never did anything wrong.” I say trying to figure out the reason myself.

“I just don’t. So can you please leave me alone?” She says and walks away. I decide to make one last try. I gently grab her wrist and say,

“I’ll do anything, just please can you like me?”

SunMi’s POV~

He said it in such a sincere voice I felt my heart skip a beat. Here is our school’s rich kingka, begging for me to like him.

“Do you want money? Jewelry? I can get you anything SunMi.” And he ruins my mood right then and there. He thinks that money can give you anything, happiness and so on.

“You really wanna gain my approval? Make something on your own. Don’t buy me anything and don’t hire people to do it for you.” I say and storm off. Truth is, I do like him. I’ve liked him from the minute I set my eyes on him. But it’s too fun an opportunity to , so I have fun by playing hard to get at times :d And other times he really ticks me off when he thinks money can do anything.

Jonghyun’s POV~

What does she mean make something myself? I’ve tried so hard to get SunMi to like me. I bought her a car yet she didn’t accept it. I gave her a whole collection from Swarovsky, yet she simply gave it back. I even bought her a house and she ignored me for a month TT^TT.

“I don’t understand you SunMi.” I mutter to myself. One minute she laughs with me and openly flirts, the next minute she turns cold.

Make something on your own. Don’t buy me anything and don’t hire people to do it for you.

I really pondered on those words before I finally understood it.

SunMi’s POV~

“Where are we going Jonghyun?” I ask as he gently pulls me toward our campus’s auditorium.

“You’ll see.” He said with a childish grin on his face. I could only smile at his enthusiasm and follow him behind. We take a front row seat and I ask,

“What’s this all about?” He places a finger to his lips and winks.

“It’s a secret.” I only roll my eyes and he adds,

“It’s so you can finally like me.” I was actually really excited; did he finally understand what I meant? I had such high hopes when the curtains opened. I didn’t know what to expect but this wasn’t what I was hoping for. On stage was The top Kpop Boy Groups. DBSK, Big Bang, Super Juniors, U-Kiss, B2ST, MBLAQ, etc. Jonghyun gave me a smile but I didn’t want to see any of this. I knew it, he used his money again to buy a whole act and think this was ok.

Jonghyun’s POV~

“Wait SunMi!” I called out to her but she already stormed out of the auditorium. I ran after her and found her sitting on a nearby bench with her arms folded.

“SunMi?” I ask timidly.

“What.” She hissed back. I sat down next to her and she spun around with angry tears in her eyes,

“You don’t get it do you? I told you to make something and you don’t get it. You think money can get you anything in this world don’t you?” Those words hurt.

“You think that by bringing those idols on stage would show me what?” I gently reached for her hand but she took it back.

“I only wanted to show you-” I began but she spat,

“Show me how you have a lot of money? Congratulations, you proved that to me.”

“No not that, I only wanted you to watch them perform since you told me how much you loved those groups, and in the end I wrote you a song and I was gonna perform it to you.”

SunMi’s POV~

“What?” I ask amazed and confused. He chuckled at my reaction and gently took my hand.

He led me inside and instead of sitting back into the audience, he took me up on stage. I stood next to him as he took the mic and sang:
