“Yoona, you’re home,” her father greeted her as he sat on the couch working on some paper.

Yoona ran toward her dad and sat down right next to her him. “Appa, do don’t have a meeting today?” she questioned as she peeked at the work he’s doing.

Her father set the laptop down and smiled warmly showing off the deep wrinkle lines. “Well, I felt tired and needed a break so I went home and leave the work to Mr. Baek.”

Yoona lips separated into a circled and then nodded. “Since you’re home, I’ll make you something to eat!” Yoona excitedly said and stood up.

“No, no. I actually want to talk to you about Yuri,” her father stopped her, “sit down,” he said.

Yoona lightly sighed and sat down on the couch with her hands intertwined and back slumped.

“How’s you and Yuri?” her dad asked.

“We’re fine,” Yoona replied dully, not caring to have eye contacts with her dad.

Her dad furrowed his eyebrows. “Really?” he halted and sighed, “I thought you like her. What’s with the emotionless tone of yours?”

“It’s nothing, appa. I do like her, just that...I don’t know...I like someone else too, but she’s taken...”

Her dad lightly nodded and continued, “well, kwon Yuri is a great person an—“

“I know appa. She saved me...” Yoona said, reminiscing the day when her fiancée saved her from drowning…It was 1 and half year ago when that happened. She was partying with her friends and wanted to show off some swimming moves, but unlucky for her, she got a cramp and was unable to move in the middle of the beach. Good thing Yuri noticed it and went to saved her on time. Her heart raced when the girl did CPR on her. Even though it wasn’t a kiss, their lips touched; to her that count as a kiss.

Yoona bitterly smiled. The world is too funny, she thought.  On that same day, she met Kim Taeyeon, her friend’s sister. Taeyeon helped her retrieved her purse back from a burglar. The funny thing is, the girl was way too slow to even catch up with the burglar, but she still tried her best. Good thing there was a police nearby or she could never get it. To Yoona, Taeyeon is one of the most generous people she ever met..

On that one horrible day, two people had made her heart beat faster than ever and grabbed hold of the girl fragile heart... But, none of them really actually belongs to her, she thought. 

“Yoona,” her dad called out.

Yoona brought her gaze up.

“We have dinner with the Kwon’s family tonight, get ready soon okay?”

“Okay appa,” Yoona nodded and stood up, “I’m going up my room.”

Her dad nodded as he focused on the laptop’s screen and Yoona walked away.

Yoona stopped halfway up the stairs and slightly smirked.  ‘Taeyeon and Jessica Jung….They really fit each other…’
