Rachel got home after a long days work to find her new roommate alone in the apartment. She was dressed in her PJs eating left over dinner Sungkyung had made for her the previous night. She felt so bad for the girl she had grown to love as a real sister. She felt very protective of Olivia because it was her who got her the job in the first place.

“Hey,” she sat down next to her favorite Unnie

“Hey,”

“Why are you here by yourself? I thought you were going out with Sungkyung?”

“No I decided to rest. My day was eventful,” she weakly smiled at Rachel

“After you left Lee Soo Man ripped into Leeteuk. He was so out of line and he reprimanded him about letting his emotions getting the best of him,” she gave her a side hug

“I don’t think Leeteuk Oppa is a racist. I just think he is scared. He’s about to go into the military and there won’t be a leader while he’s away. He’s scared all his work will crumple,”

“Well he needs to have more faith in s,”

“I know but I think he truly cares about Kangin’s well being. He’s a little overprotective though. Those scandals must have been bad,”

“You don’t know?” she was surprised

“No and I don’t want to know. They were in the past and from what his mother told me, he has learned from them and obviously the public has forgiven him,”

“You are a good women,” she smiled at her roommate

“I just want the best for him. I really care about him. He’s a sweet guy…and a great kisser,” the girls laughed

“Well I just want you to be happy and super careful,”

“Why super careful?” she giggled but Rachel had a serious look on her face, “What is with you?”

“If the fans get word of you guys’ relationship, it could end badly,”

“What? Why do they have a say?”

“Trust me they are really dedicated to their Oppas. They rather their Oppas be shipped with the Super Junior members instead of the being with other females,”

“Are you serious?” she was shocked

“I’m being dead serious. So you have to keep your relationship a secret. Promise me you’ll do that. No holding hands or kissing in public. Promise me,” she held out her picky

“I promise,”

The next morning people were everywhere. TV, internet, phones were ringing off the hook. “IU and Eunhyuk from Super Junior dating?” Olivia didn’t know what the big deal was. She actually liked IU as an artist and person and she was just getting to know the Dancing King of Super Junior. So what they were idols who were maybe dating.

“But have you seen the picture?” Rachel asked her as Olivia was setting up for her students

“What picture?” Rachel rolled her eyes as she got out her phone, “I only saw the title of the article. I didn’t click on it,” as she said this her eyes bulged out of her sockets, “Omg,”

“Yea it’s that serious,”

“How did this happen?”

“She apparently accidently uploaded it on her twitter account. I mean who does that by accident?”

“I don’t know. Maybe someone hacked into her account,” Rachel rolled her eyes again, “What? It must be really embarrassing for her,”

“What about Oppa?”

“I’m sure he feels terrible but she’s going to get the most hate for it. I’m sure she already has anti fans and I’m sure Super Junior fans won’t be happy either,”

“They will murder her. I mean it. They might actually murder her. Take this as a lesson to you. This could be you if your relationship gets out,” she left the room

Soon after that EXO came piling in the room followed by a smiling Luna.

“Different schedule Luna?” Olivia smiled

“Yes Unnie,” she took her seat next to a blushing DO

“So you heard Noona?” said Kai

“Everyone has heard. I feel bad for them but it’s none of our business so I want to get right to work. Today as a “test” I want you guys to write a paragraph about yourself. It can be about anything; 6 sentences in English and no asking Kris for help,” she smiled at the boys as some of them groaned and started writing

Olivia tried to distract herself from the looming truth that one day the truth might come out about her and Young woon and the response might not be so positive; on either sides. Knowing her father he might not be too happy about her dating a Korean.

“Unnie you’re distracted again,” Luna stood up with her paper

“Sorry, so you want to read yours first because you are all going to read yours,” all the boys groan

“Yes. Hello my name is Luna. My band name is F(x). I am a good singer and dancer. My favorite color is purple. I love all my members and I have a crush on DO Oppa,” some members couldn’t understand what Luna wrote but Olivia, Kris, Lay and even DO who was blushing now could, “That’s all,” she sat down smiling like an idiot

“Well props to my girl,” Olivia smiled widely at Luna, “Who is next?” Baekhyun raised his hand

“My name is Baekhyun. My group’s name is EXO. I am the main vocalist. I love eyeliner and my noona,” he winked at Olivia who just glared at him

“That’s 5 sentences Byun Baekhyun,” she had her hands on her hips

“Marry me,” some of the boys snickered as Chanyeol and Sehun gave him a dirty look

“Funny Baekhyun but at least you did the assignment. Who is next?” DO raised his hand

“Hi my name is DO. I am one of the main vocalists. I like to make kimchi spaghetti. I love my hyungs and dongsaengs. I like someone. Her name is Luna,” he smiled brightly

“Oppa,” Luna cooed and gave a cute pout

“It’s true,” he squeezed her cheek

“Ew!”

“Get a room!”

The boys teased DO all the way up to the end of class. As they were leaving DO quickly squeezed Luna’s hand and held her into the hallway. Olivia followed them out only to met by Young woon.

“Hi Oppa,” she smiled at him

“Hi. How are you doing today,” he playfully hit her arm

“Ok, you? How is Eunhyuk?” she was worried

“Embarrassed; hiding out in the dorm. I told him you can’t hide forever. It happened, try to get past it and move on. IU’s company released a statement but SM is keeping quiet,”

“That’s smart on their part. I hope this whole thing blows over,” she was still worried, “Oppa, what if that was us? Do you think people would just accept it,”

“I think they would,” he was trying to be optimistic but he knew in his heart that wasn’t true.

“Thank you for being optimistic Oppa but we both know that would not be the case,” she laughed as she rubbed his arm

“Well we just have to be more careful,” he smiled at her, “Dinner tonight?”

“I can’t. I already have a date,” she smiled at him

“What?” he was jealous and angry.

How could she play him like that? He thought she liked him. Maybe hearing about Eunhyuk’s problem Olivia realized she couldn’t handle that kind of pressure and wanted to bail already. Well that wasn’t fair of her. He would have protected her. How could she…

“Earth to Oppa. I bet the wheels in your head are turning huh?”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” he moved from her with a frown on his face

“Oppa,” she grabbed for his arm but he yanked it from her. she started laughing

“I’m so glad you find this funny,”

“You’re so cute when you’re mad. You didn’t let me finish. I have a date…with my sister. Skpe, I’m sure you’ve heard of it,” Young woon started smiling and grabbed her to pull her close to him as he wrapped his arms around her, “You thought I was bailing on you? It’s too soon in our relationship for that,” she laughed again as she hugged him tight

“So it’s official?”

“I hope so,” she looked into his eyes

He closed the gap between them with a sweet kiss

LATER THAT NIGHT

Olivia logged in on the Skpe website to start talking with her younger sister Evelyn. Evelyn was her 23 year old baby sister who had just moved into her new apartment with her best friend Sasha. Finally she was out of reach of their father.

“Olivia!”

“Hey sis I miss you,”

“Me too,”

“So how is the move coming along?”

“We are pretty much done. We put the boys to work and Sasha’s boyfriend was a huge help too. The apartment is so nice. It’s in the Short Pump area,” Olivia was shocked, “Yup you can be jealous now,” she laughed

“So jealous. So you’re finally away from Daddy. I’m so glad,”

“Yeah I had to get out of that house. He started looking for husbands for me,”

“No,”

“Oh yes and they have to be only Howard graduates from the Phi Beta Sigma fraternity. I told him I’m a free spirit and have no desire of dating a fraternity guy. It may have worked on Vivian and Adele because they actually want to please that man but I will not be conformed to such nonsense. Daddy can shove it,”

“I feel your pain. I really do. That’s why I’m here and not there. I can just see him now. Remember Lawrence Stool,”

“Ew,”

“Yes we all know how that turned out,”

“And I just don’t get him. He doesn’t want any mixed babies either. I mean I love our black brothers but I love other guys of different color,”

“You know Daddy. He is your typical Southern Black father. Not all of them are like that but unfortunately our Daddy is,”

“So how is everything? Your kids, roommates, any men in your life?”

“Rachel and Sungkyung are good. Exo are my kids and they are learning fast,”

“Wait Exo are the guys you are teaching?”

“Yea you know them. You’ve never liked K-pop,”

“Sasha loves them. I almost feel sorry for Brian, her hot Caucasian boyfriend. She talks about Exo so freaking much,”

“Oh man I will have to tell the boys they have a huge fan,”

“So you have a boyfriend. You know I was a little worried when you first moved out there. You were in such a rural area I didn’t think you would met anyone but now you’re in Seoul it should be a piece of pie,”

“Yes I’m officially in a relationship but you can’t tell Daddy,”

“Ok so who is the lucky international man?”

“He’s a native,” she smiled

“He’s Korean? Really? Koreans like black women?”

“Some of them do,” she laughed at her sister’s reaction

“So what’s his name? What does he do for a living?”

“Kim Young woon and he’s a entertainer,”

“Wow how did you pull that one off?”

“Well we do work for the same company. You should Goggle him,”

“He’s that famous?” Evie typed in his name and gasped, “OMG,”

“My god too,” they laughed as they continued their conversation in the wee hours of the night
