The Perks of Being EXO's TranslatorYou flicked on the light switch so you could let a little light into the dark foyer. "Gosh...why is it so dark in here..." you muttered as you struggled to fit yourself and your luggages into the foyer, a small, suffocating room near the doorway. The foyer had a big sliding door at the end of the small room which, you guessed, led to the actual apartment. You managed to fit; you closed the main door behind you and tried to kick off your shoes. Once you got that settled, you slid open the huge, wooden sliding door, revealing your apartment. Although, you couldn't see it since you were momentarily blinded by the sunlight that shone brightly through the enormous window on the other side of the room. Once you gained your sight back and your eyes adjusted, both your eyes and mouth widely opened at the sight before you. You stood in the middle of the room for a moment, studying the apartment. After processing all this in your mind, a smile slowly took over your lips. "What...is this?!" You walked further in still smiling. You felt the white couch and saw that a computer and TV had been installed in the living room already. "Is this even punishment? This is actually really nice!" you said.
You inspected the foliage that sat next to the couch. "Fake," you said, feeling the plastic leaves. You proceeded toward the bedroom. It was nice and chic, nothing too special you thought. You set down your stuff and headed towards the kitchen, hoping there would be food. You searched the cabinets and the fridge for food, but they left you nothing but disappoinment. You sighed and leaned against the clean, white counters. You suddenly leaped up, remembering that you still had some cookies in your backpack. Your face lit up with delight as you munched on the sweets, but your stomach still growled in dissatisfaction. You saw that the clock on the wall said it was still 7:25 am, but you figured you might as well try and find a place to get something to eat.
It was a plan; you grabbed your backpack, parka, and the map of Seoul your dad gave you. Since you were on the 30th floor, the elevator took forever to reach the lobby. At last, you reached the ground and started walking wherever the map led you to. "I probably look like such a tourist..." you mumbled. After walking a couple blocks, you found a big shopping mall.
