Thankfully, your headache was slowly fading away. It seemed like the aspirin was taking effect. You still moved slowly though, trying to avoid the pain from panging against your head again if you dared to move too fast. Kris asked if you were alright and eagerly insisted to help you, but you refused his offer. As you took your time getting out of the car, five of the members, Toki, and a few of the other staff hastily made their way upstairs, leaving only you, Luhan, and Hyun Kyun left in the parking garage. Luhan didn't like seeing you hurt; like Kris, he also offered you a hand, but you told him you could walk on your own. Just as Hyun Kyun pressed the floor button for the elevator, he ran out of the lift and began to run back to the van, explaining that he forgot his phone in the car and that he would catch up with you two later.
So now it was just you and Luhan, alone.
As the elevator slowly made its way up the building, you closed your eyes and leaned your tired head back against the cold surface of the wall. Though your eyes were shut, you could sense that Luhan's eyes were fixed on you. You waited for him to utter a word, but silence remained. You opened your eyes again and turned towards Luhan.
Judging by the look on his face, he seemed worried. His eyes shimmered in the low light, sort of like a puppy's. It reminded you of the time when you had first met him; he was quiet and seldom talked, just like how he was acting now, but somehow he had always caught your attention, from his charismatic aura when he danced to his pure, doll-like appearance; you also remembered the time back in Korea when the two of you sat in the darkness of the van, conversing for the first time and listening to music together while waiting for the other members to get their long-desired late night snack; and by some instant miracle, at that very moment, you suddenly remembered what happened last night. Your memory was still vague and foggy, but you remembered.
