It's been weeks since you last saw the EXO members; the last time you saw them was when they were filming their music video for their debut single, MAMA. After that, the boys were busy going to photoshoots, recording, and rehearsing for their debut. They weren't in need of a translator yet, so you just stayed back in your condo, watched dramas, and fought the urge to go shopping. Your progress so far was good too. You didn't buy a single thing, except for food and the essentials, and you would usually reward yourself with a piece of cake for your improvement.

Now, it was the 1st of April, nearly 5 a.m. You were busy packing all your stuff and getting ready for your trip to China this morning. You would be going with all of EXO since they would be having their debut showcase there in Beijing, just like the showcase they had yesterday in Seoul. You didn't see their performance yesterday since they didn't need you there yet, but you would be able to see them perform in China, so it was all good.

You fought the clock and tried to get all your stuff ready before 6 so you can start leaving for SM. You would be going to the airport with all of EXO, along with other staff, and once in China, you would remain there with the M members since they would immediately start promoting there. Finally, you managed to fit all your clothes in one luggage. It would be a few months until you would be back in Seoul, so you said goodbye to your apartment. "Annyeong. See you in a few months," you whispered, then closed the door.

You took in the morning view of Seoul as you rode in the taxi toward SM. You couldn't believe you were actually going to miss it here. You were about to leave your father's homeland, and this time bound for your mother's homeland. The last time you went to China was when you were too small and too short to even remember. Only vague, little bits and pieces of your vacations there remained in your memory, and you could only imagine what it looked like now.

Once you arrived at SM, you met with Yeni in the conference rooms again where she handed you your plane ticket.

"Here you are, Mei Lin," she said, giving you the ticket. "Make sure you have your passport, your staff I.D. badge, and your ticket when we get to the airport. You can go ahead and give your luggage to the employees downstairs. They'll take care of it." You flashed a quick smile to Yeni then ran off to the second floor to give your luggage to the staff. You checked for the thousandth time that you had your staff I.D. and passport after your lesson from last time with the security guard at the studio. You even tried to dress more professionally this time, well at least what you thought of as professional.

Once you got all that settled, you waited for the elevator so you can go back up and get breakfast that was provided for staff. The elevator took forever; the longer it took, the more you got hungry. You rapidly pressed the elevator button impatiently. "Come on, come on," you muttered.

"Whoa, I think you might break the elevator if you keep pressing it like that," you heard a voice from behind. You turned to find Chanyeol walking towards you. "Chanyeol-ssi! Annyeonghaseyo!" you bowed. 

"Long time, no see, huh?" he chuckled. "It's nice seeing you again, Mei Lin. How are you?"

"Starving," you pouted. "I'm just waiting for this elevator to come quicker," you said, then aggressively hit the button again.

Finally the doors opened and you stepped inside. "Did you eat breakfast already? You can go with me to get food if you want." You gestured for Chanyeol to enter the elevator. He nodded and agreed to go with you.

Once reached the third floor, the wonderful scent of pastries, toast, and bacon caught your attention. "Mm!" you said. You approached the counters full of food and quickly filled your plate. You sat down with Chanyeol once you gathered all your food together and started to eat. Chanyeol saw as you hastily ate your breakfast; you didn't slow down one bit. He laughed. "Are you really that hungry?" You nodded your head and finished up your food. Chanyeol had barely even touched his breakfast yet. You felt embarrassed at how unladylike you must have seemed. "Oops" was all you could say.

"How was your performance yesterday? I heard you guys did really good," you said, referring to their showcase.

"If only you were there. We were really nervous, but I think we pulled it off. I'm pretty sure we'll do even better in Beijing," Chanyeol said as he took a bite of his toast. He was enjoying the alone time he was having
