Super Junior's "Sorry, Sorry" was blasting through your brand new headphones, making it impossible for you to hear the argument going on downstairs.
"MEI LIN!" your dad yelled from downstairs for nearly the tenth time. You still couldn't hear though. Oh, you were in big trouble now.
"MEI LINNNN!" he called once more, as loud as he could possibly yell.
"Honey, calm down a bit," your mom said. She stood next to your dad holding his shoulders, trying to calm him down. She was upset too, but not as upset as your father. This time, you heard him. You threw off your headphones and ran downstairs. You could tell that you were in trouble from the tone of his voice. You took a deep breath before creeping out of your room. "Yes daddy?" you asked trying to hide the fear on your face with a smile. From far away, you could see your dad's face fuming with anger. He clenched a piece of paper in his fists. He's gonna kill me now. I blew it....
You scampered down the stairs, towards your parents. "Wipe that smile off of your face," your father said sternly. You obeyed him and pouted cutely. Your dad looked at you with a cold expression. "We have to talk, Mei Lin. You have a lot of explaining to do." He held up the piece of paper that he was holding in front of you. You carefully took it from his hands and examined it. On it was a bunch of numbers and dollar signs scattered all over the page. "What is this?" you asked.
"It's a list of everything you've bought with your credit card, my card, and your mom's card. That's how much you've spent with our money, and the total of how much you owe us is right there, written in red," your father said folding his arms across his chest. You searched for the red letters on the page. It read:

Your jaw dropped in shock. "N-n-n-no..." you stumbled on your words. "This has to be a mistake, Dad! There's no way in hell that I spent that much money! You guys are just joking with me aren't you?
