Music Club.

It was the first day of actual classes, but teachers told us that instead of the first period we could go around to any club we were interested in.

After getting directions from the teacher, I finally made it to the music building. It was a grand, and old looking building. But when I stepped inside the interior was redone. The marble floors were shiny, and beautiful artwork hung from the walls.

Wow…is this really a school?

I wonder around admiring the building until I bumped into something.

“Oww,” I heard someone moan,

“I’m sorry,” I stepped back and saw that same boy from the dorm room.

“Watch it,” He snapped, “I may be young, but I am person too,” he spoke as he picked up his music sheets from the floor.

“You don’t have to be so rude about it, I didn’t mean too,” I got defensive.

He eyes finally met mine, “Oh,” He stood up, and he actually was a bit taller than me, “Sorry, you’re the new girl, aren’t you?”

“Yeah, I’m Sally,”

“Mmm, I’m Jongin…but I prefer Kai,” He nodded, and continued to walk,

“Hey, wait up,” I walked after him,

He stopped and turned around, “Yes?”

“Um…I’m looking for the music club,” He lifted an eyebrow,

“Really?”

“Yes,” I smiled, “I sing and currently I’m learning the piano,”

“Hmm,” He nodded his head, “Okay then, follow me,”

We ended up walking for a minute more before arriving at a large ensemble room. There were about 30 people, some were sitting down while others were tuning instruments. Kai told me to sit, and I complied. He went to the piano, and sat down.

A teacher stood up and introduced the club and the types of different things available. But I couldn’t pay attention, Kai was in the background and for some reason I couldn’t take my eyes off him. The teacher told the current members to play a sample and when Kai played the piano, I felt drawn to him.

But the more I looked at him, the more I got the feeling that he was only here because he had to. He looked very serious about his work, but it didn’t seem like he enjoyed it.

After the teacher dimissed us, I walked up to Kai and said…
