“Couldn’t they join the male team?”

I asked completely serious.

He pondered for a moment, “You know…I don’t know about that. We’ve never had mixed team…” He got up and walked over to the coach. “Hey coach,”

“Yeah Myungsoo?”

“How could we don’t have a mixed team…of any sport?”

“Ha! That’s easy. There are too many prissy girls in this school.” He waved Myungsoo off, “Don’t ask silly questions. Get back to training if you have time to think like that,”

I was shocked at the coach’s answer.

Myungsoo walked over to me. “Yeah sorry about him…he’s a bit old fashioned… Anyways, I got to get back to training. See you around?”

“Yeah,” I waved and he ran back onto the field. I turned and glared at the back of the coach’s head. What a pig. I’ll show him.

“Coach?” He turned his head to me.

“Yeah?”

“I wanna join the team,”

“The track team?” I nodded. “You run fast?”

“Yeah, I need a little training though,”

He chuckled, “Sure,” He pulled out a booklet from his bag. “Read this and bring it back tomorrow, signed. Okay?”

“Sure,” I smiled and got the papers, and then headed for my dorm.
