*IN YOUNG POV          

I asked Jung Mo to come with me to the school’s foundation day so he could enjoy and have fun since he just stays home all day. “I’m not much of the outdoor person, In Young.” He said grumpily as he covered his eyes with his arms lazily dozing off the couch. “Please? Please? It will be fun!” I said poking his arm. “Really, In Young, I appreciate you inviting me but I’d rather stay here.” He said looking at me. “Just go with me. I just want to have fun. I’ll cry all day and wail like a child if you won’t go with me!” I said pouting. “Really? Go ahead and start crying.” He said and smirked. “YAH, Kim Jung Mo!” I said and was about to punch his chest when he stopped my hand and sat up. Our faces were inches away from each other, our eyes meeting gazes. “Y-yah… what are you d-doing?” I asked as he moved closer to me. My heart was beating so fast. “You have some dirt on your cheek.” He said wiping the dirt off and standing up. “You’re so persistent, In Young. Fine, I’ll go with you.” He said and stretched.

*JUNG MO POV

I was right. We were feeling the same about each other. What if… what if I tell her my feelings? Will anything change? I never learned to love anyone since I died young and In Young… were we destined for each other? Is this really God’s Almighty plan? I looked at my reflection on the bathroom mirror. “Jung Mo…” Heechul hyung began to appear on the mirror’s surface. “Hyung…” I said and looked at him. “Why? Is there anything bothering you?” he asked me looking calm. “Hyung, I think… no. Hyung, I’m in love with her.” I said and looked at him eye to eye. “As expected, Jung Mo. Gabby saw this coming and so he also has something coming up before you get your wings back.” He said. “What do you mean? Hyung, what will happen to me? What will I do?” I asked him. “Honestly, Jung Mo, I don’t know because I’ve never been in love. Well, if you count my case as falling in love with myself, in love, I really don’t know.” He said and I let out a sigh. “Please ask them to give me a sign. I really don’t know what to do now.” I said before he disappeared giving me a nod.

“What took you so long?” In Young asked grumpily after I finished fixing myself. “Nothing. Let’s go.” I said and smiled.

*IN YOUNG POV

I felt happy with Jung Mo going with me at our school foundation day. He was amused at how much change the school has undergone and he seemed to have fun at the different booths that were set up on all parts of the campus but he liked the music booth the best. “Okay! For our next game, a guitar showdown!” one of the students said. I looked at Jung Mo who smiled at the prize; it was a giant white teddy bear. “You should join.” I told him. “Me? It’ll be obvious who’s going to win.” He told me. “You’re so full of yourself.” I smirked. “So, for those interested, please sign up here and we’ll be calling you later on at the event stage.” The guy said. “Let’s go to that horror booth.” He said smiling and pulling me. “You go ahead. I need to talk to my classmate over there.” I said and pointed at some unfamiliar student. “Oh, okay.” he said and walked off. I quickly went to the sign up guy and signed his name there. ^^

*JUNG MO POV

Later that afternoon, we were eating tteokbogi under one of the umbrellas near the event stage. “Oh! The guitar showdown’s going to start soon.” In Young said finishing her food. “Good afternoon, everyone and welcome to the annual guitar showdown of the Music Club! I’m Ji Yoon and I’ll be your host this afternoon.” The guy announced. The crowds went thicker and thicker. In Young smiled and asked me to go with her and watch. “It is really very rare that we only have two people competing today. I don’t know what happened to our guitar players but anyway, let’s start this. Contestants will be given guitars and they will be playing one after the other. The contestant who has the loudest cheers will be named winner.” [A/N: LOL. I know it’s a lame competition. :P] the host said. “For our first contestant, we have, Cho Sandeul, my classmate from 3-D!” the host continued and everyone cheered as a boy went up the stage. “For our next contestant, this is a new name, Kim Jung Mo!” he announced. I looked at In Young in disbelief and shock as she just gave me a cheesy smile and a peace sign. I sighed and went up the stage and heard her cheered. “Oh, you don’t look like a student here, sir.” The host told me. “Well, I really am not. I’m just Moon In Young’s friend.” I said as I got the guitar beside me. “Well, good luck with you, Jung Mo-ssi and Sandeul! Let’s start the showdown!” he said and the competition started. The Sandeul guy was good and he has a lot of fans but I can’t afford to lose. I’m not called the angel of music for nothing. And I can’t let In Young down. I began to play and rocked the stage with one of the music videos I saw on TV, it was Close Ur Mouth by Kim Lee Chul and some guy who really played the guitar well. [A/N: Jung Mo did his guitar solo in Close Ur Mouth. It was the 1:26-2:00 part.]

*IN YOUNG POV

When Jung Mo began to play, he really rocked the stage and sent everyone jumping like it was some kind of a rock concert. And of course, as expected, my angel won and got the prize. “You really could become a great artist if you weren’t an angel, you know.” I said as we walked together. “It was my dream.” He said carrying the big white bear. “To be an artist?” I asked. “Hm. And to have a concert.” He said and smiled giving me the white bear. “I…” I said but he hushed me. “Thanks, In Young. I had a lot of fun today.” He said and ruffled my hair. “Yah!” I said blushing. He has a great smile. “Oh, wait here. I forgot to return the pick.” He said and ran. I watched him go back and saw a fortune telling booth. I went inside. A gypsy looking woman was inside. “Come in, dear. Have a seat.” She said kindly. “Hi… I was wondering if you could tell me anything about my…” I said shyly but she continued, “Your love life?” she asked me. “Errmm… yes.” I said and blushed. “Hmm… I can see that you live with an angel.” She said and I stared in shock. “And he’ll be leaving soon but… there is one problem but I don’t know what could it be… oh dear, I suggest that you don’t hope for a happy ending too much. He’ll be gone. He’ll be gone soon.” The woman said and looked at me. I bowed and thanked her as I left her tent. I saw Jung Mo running towards me. “Hey, let’s go.” He said and placed an arm around my shoulder. I nodded as I thought of what the fortune teller said.

*JUNG MO POV

I saw that there was something bothering In Young as we reached home. “Are you okay?” I asked her. “Y-yes. I’m fine.” She said and smiled. “In Young, you can’t lie to me. I know that you’re bothered.” I said and sat beside her. “I went to a fortune teller a while back, Jung Mo. And… she said that you’ll be gone soon and you’ll leave me…” she said hugging her knees. “Why do you believe in those fortune tellers? Don’t you know it’s a sin?” I asked her. She shook her head. “I won’t leave you, In Young. I’m immortal.” I said and hugged her. “I… Jung Mo…” she said but I hushed her and began to sing until she drifted off to sleep.

“Jung Mo, falling in love is not a part of your mission.” I heard Angel Gabriel’s voice in my dream. “But, I can't help falling in love with her, Gabriel!” I answered. “Then let me give you a choice before you go back here again.” He said and I woke up with a start. What choice?
