A/N: Hey before I start the chap, just wanna say that this whole chap will be about Key and JY's childhood stuff, and the next chapter will be the present again. :D Enjoy!! :D

When JY and Key were 5

Mummy said that we're gonna be having dinner today with our new neighbour.

She said they have a kid that was around the same age as me!! I was so excited yet I was scared as I'm afraid that he/she will

make fun of me like what people do in school.

So i took my Mr Millow with me and held mummy's hand and walked reluctantly to the house next to ours. 

" Welcome welcome!" said this plump lady who I assume is the one who invited us over. But what caught my eye was the boy who

was hiding behind her, holding the the same Mr Millow, just of a different colour. He had a bowl-cut hair and big brown eyes, and

when he saw me, his lips curved into a small smile. I was starting to like him already.

My eyes lit up as we went into the beautiful house and I saw many pretty things, like the garden filled with a wide variety

of flowers, and most importantly, a piano. I let go of mum's hands and ran over to the piano. My hand smoothed over the black

item and i was so amazed. My dream was to become a musician, and my favourite instrument was the piano. But we were very

poor and we couldn't afford it. Suddenly the piano opened and I turned around to see the boy sitting on the bench and patting on

the empty space next to me, motioning me to sit beside him, I sat down and he started to play "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" . It

was a beautiful piece and I was so engrossed with it. Soon we started talking and became good friends in that 1 dinner session.

After the dinner session that day, I would go over to his house everyday to hear him play the piano and he'll teach me bit by bit.

So,  he's name was KiBum and he was actually an active boy! 

The first time I saw JongYeon, I was already attracted to her.

She was our new neighbour and she came over for dinner as eomma saw her mother outside when she was coming home. They came over to our house later that day, and as I was

shy in front of strangers, I hid behind eomma's back while holding on to Mr Snuggles. I saw her holding on to her eomma's hand

an- hey, that's Mr Snuggles she's holding!!! Just that hers was pink and mine was blue.

She was staring at me with her dark gray  eyes, and I decided to smile at her. She looked a bit shocked at first, but she replied

back with a huge grin.

After that she went into the room, her eyes sparkled as she saw the things in our house. She seemed to love music as when she

saw the piano, she ran straight over and I saw a tint of happiness in her. So I decided to go over and play her a tune. She was

fascinated and started asking me a lot of questions,and soon, we became good friends. After that session we had, she would

come over everyday and  hear me play Somewhere Over the Rainbow and I'll try to teach her. I was happy to be her best friend and

was starting to like her more each day. 

They became very close friends and would do everything together and they're hardly seen not together. They were starting to like

each other more, day by day the " like" accumulates, yet nobody said anything. However, one day, it was announced that

JongYeon's family had to move to Seoul as her dad was offered a job over there. JongYeon and KiBum were both very sad as they

couldn't see each other everyday anymore. They promised to write to each other often and then they moved to Seoul. For the first 5

years, they kept in contact through letters and occasional phonecalls, but after that, they both got busier and busier and soon lost

contact.
