With this specific part, I was swept into a tornado of writing fever. I think out of the whole story, this chapter is going to be my personal  favorite. In my head, though the structure is a bit off, this reveals the actual epicenter of the story. I just love it!

Deep in the heart of Seoul, there was a seemingly normal 2 story house, where a 17 year old girl and her two parents lived. But what went on in and under this house was far from normal: this was NOONA headquarters, and the 17 year old girl, Young Il, was their superior leader as of 2009. At the moment, she was among her ranks of Celebrity Trackers, down in one of the underground computer rooms.

“How is the search going, Soo min?” she asked her head of tracking, a genius hacker and Young Il’s close friend. Soo min pushed up her thinly framed glasses and smiled at the screen of the computer she was in front of. “Nearly there, boss. I found some inconsistencies in the reports they released to the public, so I hacked the SM database and found some very incriminating data strings in their systems. I’m positive the CRA is keeping the boys somewhere, and with a few more hours, my team and I can find out where.” Young Il smiled and replied “Once you find where, be sure to send the Saesang Scouts to scope out the proximity of the place. I’ll need all the details I can get about the security, building architecture, and who is keeping our boys away from us.”

“Can do, boss!” Soo min chirped, returning to her search.

Young Il returned to her perch, a raised terrace at the front of the computer room, and looked out at the 50 girls furiously tapping away at the computers. Sighing, she sat down on a specially made chair she had put in every room of the underground base on a similar raised terrace. Reaching into her pocket, she pulled out two photos, one of a girl that looked similar to Young Il but a bit older, and the other a very wrinkled photo of Bright, except in every corner of the photo, there was a tiny black X. “I found them, sis,” she whispered to the first photo. “I found her, the that killed you. She will pay for what she did to you…” She gripped Bright’s picture, crinkling it, like many times before, into a little ball. Young Il’s mission was more than NOONA business; it was a mission for revenge, and blood, in her eyes, would be spilled when she finds Bright.

Young Il pulled out a long sword, sheathed, from behind her throne, tapping it 3 times against the arm. Instantly, two figures emerged partially from the shadows around her. She smirked as the two remaining members of the elite NOONA trio looked out at the lab below. She knew, when the time came, she’d be ready to exact vengeance for her fallen sister, the late leader of the NOONA’s.
