I think I got everyone!:) I hoped that help! Ok so here’s the chapter now lol

The air in Kris’s room was much colder than before he went to bed. He didn’t need sleep of course, but it was a way to pass time.

His skin seemed tighter; the feeling was foreign to him. The air even tasted stale. The vampire found that he felt extremely out of place in his own bed.

Another draft of cold air came into the room, and Kris realized that the window was opened. It was nothing to feel strange about. He must have forgotten to close it.

But Kris doesn’t forget things.

“Are you going to acknowledge me?”

Nearly jumping at the sound of another’s person voice, Kris quickly got out of his bed. He instantly felt exposed and vulnerable. It wasn’t common for a Casanova like Kris to experience that feeling. He normally craved exposure.

The mystery girl on his bed was smirking at his reaction, obviously pleased with his shocked expression.

“Sorry, I didn’t call before I dropped in but there are some things that you must tell me.”

Kris was mesmerized by this being lying in his sheets. Her long hair was nearly black, blunt bangs framing her striking blue eyes. “Who are you?”

The girl laughed, eyes nearly disappearing but with one eye more so than the other. She seemed insanely real at that moment. Before Kris was beginning to think that she had to be a figment of his imagination.

“Questions aren’t allowed. You tell me what you know and then I leave.”

The vampire hesitated, and his back bumped into the window pane. He didn’t realize that he was even backing up.

In less than a second, the girl was right in front of him. Her long white silk dress was suddenly viewable. He noticed that she was short, extremely short.

“You know. Luhan? You don’t feel guilty for what you’ve done? Using him like that?”

A pained look crept across Kris face. Had Luhan told someone about their agreement? Kris hadn’t expected the boy to crack so soon?

“I thought you said questions weren’t allowed.”

She shook her head, and frowned. “You’re going off topic.”

“I didn’t use him! Alright! I offered him a deal and he willingly accepted.”

She was smirking now, backing up towards the bed.

“Accepted what?”

Kris was beginning to become heated. He had done nothing wrong. He and Luhan were in somewhat of a contract. A legal one at that. He spies for Kris while Kris makes sure their parents don’t know about his wench of a girlfriend. The vampire didn’t understand why this woman was questioning him. Who gave her the right?

“He spies on that idiot, self-serving low-life Tao and I continue to keep his precious girlfriend a secret! It was a deal. I don’t force people to do what I want; they naturally grovel to please me. I just make the circumstances….convenient.”

The girl seemed to be no longer entertained. was set in a grim line, and she spoke softer, quieter.  “So you’re telling me, Luhan is betraying his girlfriend’s family for his girlfriend?”

It satisfied him to see her upset, though he knew nothing about this girl. Her confidence irked him. Only he could be that cocky and get away with it.

“You catch on fast. Now will you please explain why you’re in my house?”

The disgruntled look on her face instantly morphed back to her smug expression. She stretched out on his bed, making sure he had a good view of the natural dip of her curves.

And Kris couldn’t help but notice. He had a thing for women. And he couldn’t deny that this wench was y. Her innocent look was appealing and tempting but he knew better. Something wasn’t right about her. She was off limits. He could tell with one glance that she had her eye on someone else and that this visit was strictly business. She would but she wouldn’t give in.

Said girl lightly patted the place in the bed next to her; inviting Kris back to his bed.

She smirked. “No questions allowed, remember?”

-

Kris woke up to a chilly room, the way he usually kept it. He quickly checked the windows to find them shut tight in their normal state.

He sighed in relief when he noticed he was completely alone in his bed. He raised his hand to his face. His skin was tingling and his lips were swollen. Though he just ate the night before, he was extremely thirsty, his parched throat cried for blood. Making a mental note to go out tomorrow night, he forced his eyes closed once again. Sleeping would ease the aching desire.

Thoughts suddenly floated into his head. No matter what he tried, he couldn’t shake the eerie feeling from his mind. He dreamed about something, he knew he did. But for the life of him, he could not remember.

“Hmph, it must have been a bad dream.”

-

“Thanks for buying me coffee.” The sweet faerie smiled as she took a small sip from her drink.

This was only Valentina’s second time meeting up with Jael, but she was already pretty comfortable with her brother’s girlfriend. She wasn’t completely sure about how she felt about her, but she definitely liked Jael.

“No problem. You took time out of your day to meet up with me, it’s the least I can do.”

The vampire had called early that morning asking to meet up. She said it was urgent. And Valentina would be lying if she said she wasn’t worried about Tao. Everytime the faerie got a call, she always thought about Tao. She was afraid of bad news of course.

“What’s the news? Tao’s ok, right?”

“Oh he’s fine. Great even…”

“Then whats up? Did the potion not work out?”

Jael instantly started to blush, “I…I haven’t exactly used it yet.”

The faerie’s eyes widened. “You have to use it! I made it for you!” The faerie had actually spent hours making just a small tube of potion. She was going to personally make sure that Jael used it.

“I will! I promise…but that’s not what I was talking about.” Jael scooted her chair a little closer to Valentina but kept her eyes downward, “I decided to look into the whole king fiasco and see if there was anything I could do to help.”

Valentina’s lips shifted into a frown as she took another sip of her coffee. She knew her brother wouldn’t want Jael getting into anything. He’s way too concerned with her safety.

“I wouldn’t if I was you, Tao doesn’t need help.”

The vampire raised her hand as she slowly shook her head. “Save it, please. I already know Tao wouldn’t approve and I know he doesn’t exactly need help. But I have my reasons, and you can’t tell him, ok?”

“Hmph.”

“Good.” Jael said with a smirk, she knew the faerie would comply. “Now back to what I was saying. I was told some information I think you should know….about Luhan.”

Valentina slightly tilted her head to the side; confusion etched across her face.

“Luhan? What about him?”

Shifting in her seat, Jael slowly exhaled. Suddenly, she took extreme interest of the designs on the table.

“Uh…..I think he might be keeping something from you…”

The faerie sighed. She knew Jael had never met Luhan before so she couldn’t possibly know anything. She was hoping the vampire wasn’t the kind to believe everything she heard. Apparently, even silver haired vampires were naïve at times.

“What do you mean? He has every right to not tell me things. Especially, since were not exactly….talking to each other.”

“Wait, you two broke up!?”

“No, no, not like that. We’re just…taking a break. Yeah, that’s it.”

Nodding, Jael let the information set in. Maybe she wouldn’t have to tell Valentina what she heard, since it really didn’t affect anyone anymore.

“Well, I don’t think it really matters anymore. It’s not like he’ll find out anything anyways.”

“Huh?”

Waving the waiter over for the bill, Jael just shook her head, “Nothing, don’t worry about. I was just talking to myself.

-

Though Kai and I were best friends, we rarely visited each other’s place. I honestly cannot give a valid reason; it’s just how we are.

“To what do I owe this visit?” Kai asked with a grin. I followed silently behind him as we made our way to his patio. I never answered his question either.

He grabbed three wine glasses and a bottle of rum from his outdoor cabinet and gestured for me to sit down first. I made myself comfortable in his hard bamboo chairs, and took a deep breath.

“Is someone else coming?” I pointed to the third wine glass.

“No, she’s already here.”

I turned around to see a smiling Laeling walking out of the bushes with a watering pot in one hand and a shovel in the other.

“She says my garden is too plain? Can you believe that? It’s not like someone is actually going to see it.”

Laeling rolled her eyes as she sat down, taking the bottle of rum from Kai. She poured us all a glass and then scooted closer to him. Yeah, I definitely caught that. They must have gotten closer in the past few days.

“How are you, Lae? I haven’t seen you around lately.”

“No one asks me how I’m doing!? I haven’t seen you in two whole days, Tao! Two. Whole. Days.” Kai sounded like alove sick puppy. But that was just how our relationship was.

Rolling her eyes for the second time, Laeling huffed and took another sip from her drink. Kai continued to ramble on about my apparent disinterest for him.

“I’m doing just fine, Tao. Thanks for asking. You and Jael doing alright?”

I smiled faintly at the mention of her name. I had just saw her this morning, but I evidently didn’t like being away from her for even a few hours.

“Pretty good. Right now we’re just trying to work things out.”

The pretty vampire nodded. I knew she understood how difficult it was to love someone, even if her love for Daehyun was different from the way I loved Jael.

Kai cleared his throat, sadly reminding Laeling and I that he was still there.

“You had something you wanted to tell me, right?”

Oh. Yeah. I did. The whole reason I came in the first place was to let Kai in on some dirt. Unfortunately, I’m easily distracted.

“Well….do you remember my visit to Sehun? And how we assumed Kris knew. Well….he doesn’t. He’s totally oblivious. There is whole lot more going on than we initially thought.”

“Wait. How’d you find out he doesn’t know?” Kai’s eyebrows furrowed. He was just as confused as I was.

“I eluded to it, in a pretty obvious way, and he didn’t pick up. At all.”

I watched as Kai smirked, and I begin to regret telling him about it. Kai liked to play games to much. This was not a game for me.

He laughed, running a hand through his shimmering dark hair, “This just got way more interesting.”

-

“Daehyun.”

The warlock immediately begin to bow, “Yes, my queen.”

“I’m afraid, I’m feeling a little uneasy.” The golden haired queen strutted her way to her large full sized mirror.

Daehyun quickly stood straight from his bow and stepped infront of the bossy queen, to offer her as many complements as he could.

Out of annoyance, the queen threw her hands up, abrubtly cutting Daehyun off.

“Just shut the hell up. Listening to you rattle on and on is about the most excruciating thing ever. I have a predicament, just listen.”

Slowly, the warlock stepped back. He thought he hid the pained look on his face fast enough. But CL sees everything. Nothing ever escapes her murderous gaze. But she also rarely cared about what she saw either.

“The boy, Sehun, was it unwise to leave him alive?”

Daehyun knew better than to answer.

“I’m beginning to regret letting him stay with his mother in the first place. I should have kept him. I’d rather him be like luhan than his failure of a mother.”

The queen pulled the stiff Daehyun closer to her and mechanically wrapped his arms around her.

“I don’t know what to do, Dae. Nothing’s going as planned, and my son’s throne is still in jeopardy….”

The warlock’s arm stiffened slighty, as he relished the feeling of being able to hold her. He would imprint this memory into his mind until the next time he might be this close to her. She was the queen now, and Daehyun had long stopped dreaming.

“I can’t leave Sehun walking around with all those secrets he knows. We have to stop him, Dae.”

Backing up a bit, CL looked directly into Daehyun’s eyes. She made sure she had a tight hold on him as she let her eyes do her work for her. The next words coming out of were nothing shorter than a command.

“You have to stop him.”

-

“Your hair smells good, ya know. Kind of like lavender.”

I always got like this when I was tired around her. It was a ritual. We would lay down on our sofa, with her head pushed under my chin. My arms would wrap around her, keeping her close to me. I would blabber about senseless things and she would listen. She would always listen.

Giggling at my comment, she started to make little circles on my bare chest and murmuring things I couldn’t make out. This couldn’t help but make me smile. She was way too cute.

I looked down at the coffee table at the drink she made me. She wouldn’t tell me what it was except that it was a mix of things I liked.

I’m not going to lie, I was really surprised. Jael isn’t the type to ‘make’ things for people. She was the kind that awarded me with , and I actually preferred it that way.

But nevertheless, I still thought it sweet. And then I thought it strange that I thought it sweet. I had definityely changed because of her but this side of me was only for Jael.

“You don’t want to drink it?” she started pouting and I could almost hear my resolve cracking, “but I made it for you.”

“I do want to! I just haven’t yet…” I looked down to see the unsipped drink on the table. It’s not that I didn’t want it. I just wasn’t one to drink anything but blood and water.

Jael untangled herself from my limbs as she picked up the drink, giving it directly to me. “I promise you’ll like it.”

I sighed as I took the drink from her slim fingers and took a tentative sip.

“Hmmm…” It was definitely sweet. I could taste remnants of Jael’s blood and a little bit of others. There was one particular taste I couldn’t figure out. It was kind of bittersweet, almost tangy.

“Do you like it?”

“Yeah….yeah I do actually.”

Her eyebrows furrowed. “Are you sure?”

I chuckled at her cute expression. “It has a tangy after taste. I like that.”

What I said was the truth, but I was beginning to change my mind. The taste on my tongue was still lingering, and my mind was beginning to get hazy. I was suddenly aware of everything. Like the slight movement of Jael’s fingers on my waist, leaving a hot trail from my waist and up as she slipped her hand under my shirt. I noticed the way her thighs slid against mine and how her toes skidded across my mid-calf. But what really had me gasping for air was Jael’s hot breath in my ear. Her words awakened things in me that was better if they stayed asleep.

“I think you’ll like the taste of me better.”

I smirked at those words and after half a second I had us flipped. I was hovering over her completely, still body as she smiled up at me. She sneaked her fingers around my neck and played with the ends of my hair. The small gesture made my arms slightly buckle from above her. She smirked, noticing the effect she had on me. Why was my body so sensitive tonight?

She brought my head down closer to hers as she whispered to me; her lips not even an inch away from mine. The words made my brain foggy as I felt the limp hold I had on my self control slip through my fingers.

“Take me.”
