Second Encounter
Two Meetings.
xuanmiin: My writing finally transits into something that is outside of the chatroom. That's from a third person point of view, in line with how the rest of the fic was constructed anyway.

kyu♣: How you feeling right now? Nervous?
kyu♣: Orientation tomorrow!
JI✭: Yeah I know.
JI✭: Bye bye freedom as I know it :(
kyu♣: Aren’t you looking forward to it?
JI✭: To some extent yes.
JI✭: But I’m nervous, after all, it’s an unfamiliar environment
JI✭: I don’t know who I’m going to meet
JI✭: Or how I’m going to survive
kyu♣: I’m sure you will! You’re adaptable.
kyu♣: You’ve always survived anyway, if the precedent is anything to go by.
JI✭: But middle school is different from high school is different from university.
kyu♣: I’ve known you since middle school, do you think I wouldn’t know?
kyu♣: Don’t worry so much!
gayoon❤: Jiyoonie!
gayoon❤: Have fun at orientation tomorrow!
gayoon❤: Don’t turn down any hot guys who approach you ^^
JI✭: Seriously, Gayoon, is that all you can think of?
JI✭: You better remember that you have a boyfriend.
JI✭: Don’t go drooling when you see hot guys, he won’t be pleased at all!
gayoon❤: But you’re different.
gayoon❤: And everyone says that in university, the guys are better.
JI✭: You shouldn’t be one to worry about things like this.
gayoon❤: You should!
gayoon❤: And tell me when you find someone that catches your fancy.
JI✭: When I had to find out from someone else about Doojoon.
JI✭: Heo Gayoon, you are really the demanding best friend.
gayoon❤: You’re speaking as if you think that I don’t know you.
gayoon❤: The first thing you would do is to shake your head disapprovingly, I can still see it from behind the computer screen.
JI✭: Fact remains, you didn’t tell me.
JI✭: Maybe I’ll tell you if I feel like it.
kyu♣: So how hard are you intending to work in university?
kyu♣: Because there are originally hardworking students who decide that university is a time for them to take a well-deserved break and invest in extra curricular activities instead.
JI✭: I’ll probably still work hard enough to get decent grades.
JI✭: It depends if I can find anything worthy for me to spend time on.
kyu♣: What would count as worthy then?
JI✭: This is an unfair question, I don’t know how to answer it.
JI✭: Maybe things that are meaningful to me?
JI✭: I don’t think you know what’s worthy till you see it for yourself?
kyu♣: So you’re not going to completely lounge around like some of the other people?
JI✭: They make it sound like studying is so horrible.
JI✭: I’ve gotten used to it like it’s a fact of life.
kyu♣: I think they’re releasing their pent up emotions from studying too hard for the national exams beforehand.
kyu♣: I for one, am quite happy to get back into the studying lifestyle.
kyu♣: Just another reason why doing military after high school is actually a good idea.
JI✭: Not many people seem to think so.
kyu♣: I am convinced that in the long run it is a good idea.
JI✭: I hope that point of view of yours doesn’t change, for your own sake.
kyu♣: But I don’t feel like studying that hard anymore.
kyu♣: Hopefully I’ll be able to get up to speed :<
JI✭: Of course you will, don’t worry about it!
