Epilogue
A Little Pink BookI closed the book and put it on the pile of stuff beside me. I took a glance at the clock and saw that I had spent two hours reading my old diary. I looked at the mess around me. He was going to be home soon and I had to get this cleaned up. I started to hurriedly put the clothes back in the closet and was almost done when I heard the front door open and close.
“Min?” His voice that I will never get tired of hearing calls out.
“In here!” I scream and I hear his footsteps coming closer until I hear the door to our room open.
“What happened in here? It looks like a bomb went off!” He teased but stopped when I shot him a glare.
“I was cleaning out the closet but got distracted.” I explained and went back to picking up.
“By?”
I threw him my old diary. I don’t think he had ever read it but I didn’t care anymore. We had been together for years now and he knew everything. I continued rearranging the closet until I felt his arms snake around my waist.
“I’m sorry I made you want in silence for so long.” He whispered in my ear from behind.
“It’s ok, you are worth it.” I said without turning around.
“But Min, don’t make me wait now, ok?” He asked and I turned around to ask him what he meant but was stopped when I saw the look in his eyes that told me exactly what he meant.
“Never.”
With that I claim his lips in a hungry kiss, pushing him back down on the bed. We were surrounding by old clothes and pictures, our memories of our life together. Sitting on the nightstand was the little pink book that held our story. None of these things mattered though as we kept writing our own story each and every day.
Life’s a book. We all have the same beginning and ending, but it’s the chapters we write in between that make it OUR story.
Hooray for dorky, cheesy, happily ever after endings!!!!!!!!!! It is finally finished :) Hope you liked it! Now I'm only writing 2 stories at once!!
