LITTLE TRICK
THE WARMTHHyosung smiled tiredly as her eyes glued to the article on her phone. Her picture stared back at her and so did her name on the top of the article.
‘Another controversy, huh,’ She thought to herself.
It was the nth article of her for this promotion. Everyone seemed to jump into hating boat during her current promotion. She knew it well that she would never be able to avoid the hatred from public—whatever she was doing.
With a very hard way, she had learnt it was impossible to repair her image. Everyone just wanted to hate her, no matter what she did. People wanted to believe nothing but the fact that she was a bad girl. Even if she could prove that she was just a normal idol, like the other idols they admired, she doubted they would believe her. At this point, she had no other choice but to hang on her fans and friends. Instead of satisfying the general public, she chose to just do what she wanted to do. Nothing like satisfying the general public would do—it was something she regretted.
Her fingers scrolled down the phone as her mind tried to convenience her that she would get no benefits if she did what she was thinking. But even if her mind had calculated the risks and how broken her heart would be, curiosity got the best of her. So with that, she typed the blog that had consistently translated international fans’ comments. To put it simply, when an article about idols or actors released and received some reactions from the Korean netizens, there was a site that would translate the article and high voted comments. Later, when International netizens read it and left comments, someone would translate the high voted comments in Korean. Then Korean netizens would react to those translated comments. The cycle ended there—except once when the International site discovered about the Korean site and decided to tell about this to their readers.
These two sites had surely made it big as a lot of idols looked for feedbacks on them. They had read it silently and passed the news to each other as they were so thirsty about what people said about them. Sometimes, when they read some comments, they couldn’t help but to wonder why they were so addicted on reading the hatred comments from both Korean and International netizens. Not to mention that these days, rude people had appeared even more often on their SNS accounts. If they wanted to read the hate messages, they had enough of sources to discover them. But then, it was never enough. They wanted more and more.
As in Hyosung’s case, she had always been curious of what people thinking. Back when her ilbe scandal first blew out, there were still a lot of International netizens who went to her side. But as time passed, they also got brainwashed by the hate the Korean netizens had. Deep inside, she knew she had it unfair. After her, there were several other entertainers who did Ilbe things worse than her. However, they were always lucky as people quickly forgot about that. Some even didn’t say sorry for what they had done. But people never forgot about hers. That thing alone sometimes tired her down.
It took her a very long time to get used with th
