"Where's your brother?" my mom asked, she was seating in the couch, watching the television

"I texted him not to pick me up since my classmate will take me home"

"Where is he now?" 

"I don't know. Call him" I said and went inside my room

I changed clothes and went to the living room

"Hello? Henry, where are you? Ohh.. Okay, okay" then my mom hang up

"Where is he?" I sat beside her

"He's still on his duty. He said that there are a lot of patients to take care of and maybe he'll go home late"

I nodded and watched the television

When I went to school the next day, I saw Charlotte

"Hey" she said as she put her arms on my shoulders

I smiled at her 

"Jessy!" someone called me behind

Charlotte and I looked behind and I saw Nichkhun walking towards me

"Oh, Nichkhun!" I smiled at him

Charlotte looked at him curiously

"Charlotte, this is my friend, Nichkhun. Nichkhun, this is Charlotte"

"Nice to meet you, Charlotte" Nichkhun smiled at her

"Nice to meet you too" Charlotte replied

"Aren't you going now to your class?" I asked him

"I'm on my way there" he smiled at me

I nodded 

"We'll be going too, bye!" I said

Charlotte and I started walking going to our classroom. Classes started and ended. After class, Megan, Charlotte and I went outside

the school.

"Guys, I have an idea" Megan said

"What is it?" I asked her

"How about, we'll go out this weekend" Megan smiled at us

"Oh! I love that! I love going out" Charlotte said 

"That's good" I said

"Okay. We'll just see at the mall this weekend" Megan gave us a wink

"Okay!" Charlotte said

Megan went to the car and waved at us before she went inside the car. We waved back at her.

"Jessy, I'll go first. My mom's here. Bye! See you this weekend!" Charlotte said and went away

"Bye" 

I decided to seat on the bench while waiting for my brother

"Jessy?" a voice from behind said

I looked behind and saw Nichkhun

"Nichkhun" I smiled at him

He sat beside me "Are you waiting for your brother?"

I nodded

"Ohh.."

"Who are you waiting for?" I looked at him

"My dad" he looked at me

"Where's your dad?"

"He's still on his work" 

I nodded and looked away

My phone rang. I got my phone from my bag and saw a text message from Henry telling me that he can't pick me up. I sighed 

after reading the text message. I placed my phone back inside my bag. Then suddenly, a car stopped in front of us.

"Oh, it's my mom" Nichkhun said

I looked at him "I thought your dad is going to pick you up" 

"I think he's busy" he said as he looked at me

I nodded and pouted

He stood up and asked "Is your brother not going to pick you up?" 

"How did you know?" 

He laughed

"Nichkhun!" her mother from the car called him

"Wait mom!" he replied

"Let's go" he said

I blinked my eyes "What?"

"I said let's go" he grabbed my hands 

We went inside his mom's car

"Nichkhun" I mumbled

"Mom, she's my friend, Jessy"

"Oh, hi Jessy!" his mom smiled at me

"Nice to meet you" I awkwardly smiled at her

"Mom, let's take her home since her brother can't pick her up" Nickhun said

He looked at me and smiled

"You don't have to do this" I whispered

"It's okay" he gave me a smirk

"Where's your brother anyway?" his mom asked

"He is still on his work" 

"What's the work of your brother?" 

"He's a nurse"

"Ohh... that's a nice job"

"Where is your house by the way?" Nickhun asked

"It's just a few blocks away from the school. Our house is beside a convenience store"

"Where is the convenience store?" his mom asked

"Beside the gasoline station"

"Okay" her mom said

After a few minutes, we arrived at our apartment

"Thank you for taking me home" I said 

"It's okay" his mom said

"Bye, Jessy" Nichkhun gave me his smile

I smiled as a response and went outside the car. I went inside the house and saw my mom preparing for dinner.

"Where's your brother?" my mom asked

"He said he's not going to pick me up because he's busy"

"Did you walk going home?"

"No. My friend took me home"

"Is that friend the same who took you home yesterday?" she curiously asked

I sat on the couch "No"

"So, who are they?"

"The one who took me home yesterday was Megan. She's my classmate. And the one who took me home a while ago was

Nichkhun he's my friend"

"Ohh.." she nodded and went back cooking

"Mom, I'm going to go out this weekend with Megan and Charlotte"

"Are they your classmates?" she looked at me

I stood up "Yes. I'll change clothes first"

I went to my room and changed clothes. After changing clothes, dinner was ready. My mom and I ate our dinner and my brother

came.

"Sorry if I didin't pick you up a while ago" Henry said as he sat down on the chair

"It's okay" I smiled at him

"Her friend took her home" my mom said

"Really? Who's that friend?" Henry asked

"Nichckhun" 

"He's a boy?" 

I nodded

"Maybe he likes you" Henry gave me a smirk

"Of course not! We're just friends"

"Then, why did he take you home?"

"Because you didn't pick me up. If you picked me up, he wouldn't take me home" I tucked my tongue out

"Okay, you win" Henry said

I laughed and I stood up "I'm done eating"

I went inside my room and went to sleep.

I didn't set my alarm clock so I woke up late. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. This is what I usually do everytime I'll wake up. I went to

the kitchen and prepared myself a cup of milk. I got some bread from the fridge and ate them while watching the television. My mom

was at the frontyard of our apartment. She likes taking care of plants. Then suddenly someone knocked from the door. I placed the 

cup of milk on the table and stood up. I went near to the door. I opened the door and saw Megan and Charlotte.

"Guys, why are you here?" my eyes went huge

"You completely forgot, Jessy Lauren" Charlotte said as she crossed her arms

"What is going to happen today by the way?" I asked

"We'll be going out today!" Megan said

"Ohh... sorry I forgot! I'll take a shower and I'll change fast"

"Would you mind to let us come in?" Charlotte asked

"But, my room is such a mess" 

"It's okay!" Megan said and went inside the apartment

"Where's your room?" Charlotte said as she roomed around the house

I went to my room and they followed my lead. I opened the door and they were completely shocked

"See? I told you, it's such a mess"

"No! It's nice! I like your walls, your bed, your pillow, your blanket. I love everything!" Megan said as she sat down on my bed

"There's even a picture of One Direction! You never told me that you're a huge fan of One Direction" Charlotte said as she looked

at me

I scratched my head and got my towel "I'll take a shower"

Charlotte got my laptop and started using it. After I took a shower, I went inside my room to get my clothes. Since they are on my

room, I decided to change my clothes inside my mom's room. After I changed clothes, I went back inside my room. 

"Let's go" I said
