It was getting late at night so my mom decided that John and Eleanor will stay in our house until tomorrow. Since my bed can

occupy two persons, Eleanor will sleep beside me tonight. Eleanor was still watching the television with Henry. I sat on my bed

and turned off my laptop after Eleanor used it. I decided to call Megan since I really really miss her. I dialled her number and finally,

she picked up the phone on the third ring.

"Jessy?"

"Megan"

"Jessy! I miss you! How are you right now? Are you still together with Louis?"

"I miss you too. I'm fine and yes, we're still together"

"How long are you right now?"

"Not that long. We're going 7 months"

"Cool. That's close to 12 months"

"Yeah"

"So, why did you call?"

"Can we meet up tomorrow?"

"Sure. Where?"

"3pm. At the mall"

"I think something's bothering you right now"

"Why did you say so?" She's right

"Because you called me"

I smiled at said "Let's see each other tomorrow"

"Can't wait to see you"

"Me too"

"Good Night, Jes"

"Good Night, Meg"

Then we hang up. The door cracked open and I saw Eleanor walking towards me. I looked at her and she sat beside me. I placed the

bottled milk on my table and she asked "Are you okay?"

I laughed at her

"Why are you laughing?" she asked curiously

"I'm fine. Why?"

She sighed as a relief "Nothing. I just thought that I'm secretive to you"

"Why? Are you secretive to me?"

She shook her head "No!" she added "I mean, I really can't tell you about my past lovelife..."

I tapped her shoulders "It's okay. I understand"

"You do?" 

I nodded 

She smiled at me. I can see it in her eyes that she's in deed happy "I'm so thankful to have you as my sister. Sorry if I acted like

dumb a while ago"

"It's okay. Can we go now to sleep? I'm sleepy" I said as I stretched my arms

"Sure" she said and she stood up to turn off the lights. Now the glow in the stars I placed in my ceiling are visible. They look like

constellations in the galaxy. Eleanor lay down beside me and she pulled up the blanket until to our waist.

"Do you really like looking at the stars?" she was looking at the glow in the dark stars

"Yes. I really have fun looking at them. They are so bright. They're the one who gives you light at night"

"Stars are dead, right?"

"Yes"

"How can you determine if that star is dead or not" This was my question when I was a little kid. I really have fun watching the stars

with my uncle Rey. My uncle Roel which is living in the New Jersey told me the answer about this. He gave me telescope when I was

a little kid. But it was gone when I turned 13 years old. Maybe my mom gave it to the poor children. 

"You can't determine. It's impossible"

"Have you already saw a shooting star?"

"Yes. A lot. Everytime I saw them, I make a wish"

"Is that true? Does your wish make come true?" Eleanor is now like a little kid who doesn't know about stars. Well, this is what I'm

good at.

"For me, no. Shooting stars doesn't make your wish come true. Like the Genie in the bottle, if you rub the bottle and when the Genie

comes out, you'll make a wish and he'll grant it. Genies never existed. Only God can make your wish come true but not all wishes

He'll grant. Maybe that wish isn't good enough for you or that is not part of His plan for you. God's plans are better than our plans"

She looked at me. Her brown hair covered her ear. She's really beautiful "I can see that you really like stars and you believe in

God"

I didn't look at her "Of course I do. He's the one who made us. We are made by his image and likeness"

She nodded and looked away. After a few minutes of staring at the stars in my ceiling, I said "Eleanor, if you can't sleep, try to

count all the stars in my ceiling. That's what I usually do everytime I had a hard time of going to sleep"

She didn't say anything or looked at me. I looked at her and damn... she's still beautiful even if she's sleeping. Do I have that kind

of pretty face everytime I sleep? I know she's more beautiful than me. She's like a goddess. 

I woke up because of sudden noise. It's still dark. I got my phone and looked at the time. It's still 1 am. I looked beside me but

Eleanor isn't here anymore. Where is she by the way? I sat up and tried looking for her. I stood up and heard two voices talking.

I think it came from Henry's room. I went near to the wall that separates our room. 

"What should I do?" that's Eleanor's voice. What is she doing by the way inside Henry's room? I listened carefully

"What did he told you?" that's Henry''s voice. What are they talking about who he?

"He told me that we shouldn't tell her" who her? I seriously don't get it. I feel like going out to my room and ran to Henry's room 

like an angry kid but that wouldn't be good. What I'm doing right now is not the right way. I'm eavesdropping to their conversation.

"I think you should tell her before she'll recognize" Henry's keeping secret from me! I can't believe it! Why won't he tell me?

"Does she recognize it?"

"I think...yes"

"I'm so confused right now. I don't know if she finds this out"

"I think we should talk this tomorrow. Let's go to sleep"

I hurriedly went back to bed and faced sideward so I can't see Eleanor's face. The door cracked open. I think this is Eleanor. She

sat down on the bed. Why is she snoring? Is she crying? I really don't get them. She lay down on the bed and slept. 

When I woke up, Eleanor's not beside me anymore. I looked at the time, it's almost 12 noon. Good, we don't have practice today. 

I sat up and remembered what Henry and Eleanor was talking about last night. Someone opened the door, I saw Eleanor in a 

pink dress which is four inches above the knee with braided hair. Her eyes went huge when she saw me.

"You changed?" I asked her

She nodded "We went home when dad and I woke up"

"What time did you wake up?"

"8 am"

I nodded and scracthed my head. Wow, she's capable of waking up early in the morning

"I think you haven't eaten your lunch yet" she walked towards me

"We ordered some McDonalds for you. It's there at the dining table" she added

"Thanks" I said as I stood up. I bent down to fix my bed but she held my wrist

"I'll be the one to fix this. You should eat your breakfast before 12 noon"

I looked at her and said "Thanks"

I'm still on my pajamas when I went out from the room. I saw my mom preparing herself in front of the mirror while John was 

watching the television. I went directly to the dining room to eat. They bought me chicken fillet, fries and McFlurry. I think Eleanor

ordered this for me. When I'm going to eat the chicken fillet, I forgot something. I went back to my room and saw Eleanor handling my

phone. She was going to open it and when she saw me, her eyes went huge. 

"Sorry, I was going to give this to you"

I walked towards her and got my phone from her hands "Eleanor, please don't touch others belongings. They have their own privacy"

I sighed and walked back going to the dining room. Why is she touching my phone? She's not like this before. I think there's really

something wrong about her. After I ate my breakfast, I went to my room. Before I went inside my room, I saw Eleanor and John 

were watching the television while my mom went out from her room. She was wearing a cute red sleeved dress which is two inches

from the knee. She put some light make up on her face. My mom's so pretty. Sometime's people say that I look like her but she's

really prettier than me.

"Are you not coming with us? We are going to the church for our wedding plan" my mom said

"No. I have someone to meet up this afternoon"

"We'll go now. Take care of the house" she gave me a kiss in the cheek and walked going to the door

Eleanor smiled at me and I smiled back at her. I checked my phone and I saw a lot of text messages from Louis. I called him

"Louis"

"Why aren't you answering my text messages?"

"Sorry. I just ate my breakfast"

"Oh, sorry"

"Louis, I have something to tell you. I know this is weird but this is true"

"What?"

I was thinking if I should tell him. If I tell him, maybe he'll think negative about Eleanor

"Umm... last night, I heard Henry and Eleanor talking inside Henry's room. I don't know what are they talking about but Eleanor

keeps on saying that she doesn't know what to do if she finds it out. I really don't know who are they referring to. And when I ate my

breakfast, I forgot my phone inside the room. When I went inside the room, I saw Eleanor handling my phone. I think she was going

to open or use my phone. This is really weird"

"Do you have anything in mind that would lead her in doing that?"

"I don't know"

Louis took a deep breath "Okay, let's just talk that later. I'm in a photoshoot right now. Take care always"

"Take care"

Then he hang up. Since no one's home, I decided Megan to come here in our house rather than going to the mall. While I was

waiting for Megan, I got my sketchpad and started drawing some clothes. After a few hours, I looked at my works. I already made

12 clothes in two hours. Then, the doorbell rang. I went outside and saw Megan. After a long time of not seeing each other, she

changed. She's not the Megan anymore who wears glasses. She's really beautiful right now. She lose weight. She smiled at me

and hugged me tightly. She pulled back. But her attitude didn't change. She's still the same. The girl with a kind heart.

"Are you just going to stare at me and not going to let me in inside your house?"

"Megan! I can't believe this! You changed!"

"Thanks" she smiled

We went inside the house and she told me about Nichkhun. Nichkhun knew that she likes him. They've been dating with Nichkhun

but never asked her to be his girlfriend. And she decided to stop dating Nichkhun because it won't get there to what she expected.

Nichkhun went to New York to work as a manager of a clothing line.

"Really!? Are you now okay?"

"Of course! I don't have special someone in my life right now and I'm happy about it"

"Good"

I made iced tea and got some junk foods from the refrigerator.

"So, what are you going to tell me?"

I told her about what happened yesterday when Louis and Eleanor were acting gentle to me. I also told her about what I heard

last night when Henry and Eleanor were talking about something I don't know. I also told her about what happened a while ago

when Eleanor got my phone.

"Who is that Eleanor by the way?" she asked as she drank her iced tea

"Oh, I forgot. She's my stepsister. My mom and her dad are going to be married in a few weeks"

"Really?! OMG. Tell your mom I said "Best Wishes", okay?"

"Sure. I'm going to invite you to their wedding day"

"Okay! That would be amazing for sure. Umm... I heard Liam's got a new girlfriend right now. Is that Danielle Peazer?"

"Yes, She's my co-worker in the X Factor and a close friend of mine"

"Wow! You're now a big star, Jessy!"

"I'm not! I'm still the Jessy Lauren you know"

She got one chip from the bowl

"Okay, let's get back to Eleanor. So, you're curious about what they're about talking with your brother"

 "Absolutely yes"

"Why don't you try to ask your brother"

"I wont! I'm totally pissed off knowing that he's been not telling me about this. We're not like this before. He never keeps secret

from me"

Megan rubbed her hands "I think you should ask him. You won't know what they were talking about if you won't ask him"

I looked down "Fine"

Suddenly, we heard a phone ringtone. It was Megan's phone. Megan got her phone from her bag and stood up "Excuse me"

I looked at her and nodded

She answered the call and took a step away from me. I got my sketchpad and looked at the designs I made a while ago. After

Megan answered the call, she came back. She stood up beside the couch.

"Jessy, I need to go now. I'm needed in the office right now"

I stood up and said "Sure"

She walked towards me and gave me a warm hug. I miss everything about this girl. I miss hanging out with her. I remembered

how she was deeply in love with Nichkhun before. She was afraid that maybe Nichkhun and I would ended being together. That's

how she love Nichkhun. She pulled back

"It's nice to meet you again. I hope we can hang out someday with Charlotte"

I smiled at her as a response

"I need to go now. Bye"

"Bye!"

She took steps away from me and watched her disappeared through the door. I decided to keep the snacks back in the kitchen 

and placed back the iced tea in the refrigerator. I went back to the living room. I sat up and watched the television. I don't know

what to do in this house. I was completely left alone because I need to take care of the house. No, I'm the one who decided not

to go with them. Whatever. I'm not in the mood to think about what Eleanor and Henry talked last night. Suddenly, the doorbell 

rang. Who would it be? Who would come to my house? Maybe some of my mom's friends? Or maybe the wedding planner? 

I went outside the house and saw two men in front of the door. One man has black hair and he was wearing blue shirt under

his leather jacket. One man has blonde hair and he was wearing white shirt with jeans and his favorite, supra.
