When I arrived back at the house, I can't control it anymore. I ended up crying. I cried after I closed the door. Eleanor and Henry

saw me. They rushed towards me. I sat down the floor and cried. 

"What happened?" Henry asked

"Let's take her to the living room" Eleanor said

Henry carried me going to the living room. I sat on the living room and continued to cry. Eleanor went to the kitchen to give me a 

glass of water. 

"What happened Jessy?" Henry asked

I sighed 

Eleanor put down the glass of water on the table in front of me. I got the glass of water and drank. I put it back,

"Can you tell us now what really happened?" Eleanor asked

"First of all, I really don't want anyone to know about this. This is too confidential"

"We won't tell it to anyone. Promise" Henry said

I looked at Eleanor

"Promise" she said

"Before Louis and I got into a relationship, I was a huge fan of One Direction. I really like Zayn. I really had a huge crush on him.

When Louis and I met, that was unexpected. We started to go out and he even protected me from the haters I had when I still

studying. He told me that he likes me and he wants me to be his girlfriend. Since mom won't allow me to have a boyfriend yet 

while I'm still studying, he waited for me. In the first place, I don't have feelings for Louis. Everyday, he's showing it to me how

he really love me and I learned to love him. After my graduation, we became officially couples. We never encounter problems

during the early days of our relationship. One day came, Zayn told me that he likes me. I was completely shocked and even

don't know what to do. He told me that no one knows about the feelings he had for me. After his confession, Louis and I

always fight about some other problems and sometimes, Zayn's invovled in it. I thought I don't have feelings anymore for Zayn

but actually, I still have. I'm just keeping it because I don't want them to fight. Now, I told Zayn that I need to stay away from

him because I know Louis would know about this"

Henry and Eleanor looked at me with sad eyes

"Guys, please don't Louis about this"

"We won't" Eleanor said

"One thing, I have a question. These days, I've been wondering why are you always talking about Louis? You, Eleanor, why 

are you keep on saying that you still love Louis? Do you have something unfinished business with him? You know, it's better

that you should tell it to me right now. I'm tired of this hearing you guys about that thing and keeping secrets from me"

Henry and Eleanor exchanged glances and they looked at me

"Okay, I think it's time for you to know" Eleanor said

I looked at her

"Before Louis auditioned for X Factor, we had a relationship. I was a very supportive girlfriend. I was there during his performances

together with his family. When they won and became famous, he was busy and doesn't have time for me. I decided to broke up

with him even though it's hard. We lasted for one year. Yes, I still have feelings for him and I'm still hoping that we could go back to

the times when we're together. I thought I can go back to him again and start our relationship again but I was wrong. When I saw 

you together, I think there's nothing to come back anymore. Everytime I saw you together, everyday my heart dies. Sorry for not

telling this to you because I don't want you to break up. I know you two do love each other so much. Remember the time when 

we're talking about guys? I was referring to him. He was the guy that I really love"

I sighed deeply. I stood up and said "I'll change first"

"Where are you going?" Eleanor asked

"To Louis" then I closed the door going to my room

When I went out from the room, Eleanor and Henry was standing in front of me.

"What are you doing?" Henry asked

"Are you breaking up with Louis?" Eleanor asked

"I have something to tell him. I thought you two were going to mom and dad"

"We decided to visit them tomorrow" Henry said

I walked going outside the house and they followed me. I looked at them "Guys, don't follow me. I'll be okay"

I can see on their faces that they were really worried for me. I took a taxi cab going to their dorm. When I arrived at their dorm, I saw

them seating on their sofa. Zayn was there, he looked at me. I looked at Louis.

"Jessy!" Harry smiled

"Hi, Harry" I greeted him back "Umm... Louis, can I talk with you for a while?"

Louis smiled and stood up. I told him that we need to talk in a private place. We took his car. It was a silent ride. My decisions are

already made up. I can't back up now. We went to the place where he really loves when he wants time to be alone. This place have

a lot of trees and we walked going out from the car. I sighed when we reached beside the lake. 

He looked at me. Okay, I need to begin now.

I looked back at him "Louis, why didn't you tell me that you had a relationship with Eleanor"

"I...I...I...was going to tell you about that but I just need time"

"It's better if you just told it to me directly. I won't be mad at you"

"So, are you telling me that you're mad at me right now for not telling it to you directly?"

"Yes! Don't you know that I was completely dumb. I never knew about that wherein Henry knows about it and all your bandmates

too. I can hear Eleanor and Henry talking about you. Eleanor kept on saying that she wants you to come back. And I can say that

you still like her"

"No! I'm done with her. We're over"

"Remember during my birthday? When we stayed at the resort. I caught you two inside the bathroom. I know that there's something

between the two of you. Yesterday too, I can see you looking at her. I know that you still have feelings for her"

"Are you jealous with your stepsister?"

"No! I'm not jealous with her! I've never been jealous! Louis, I think you need to finish the things you have with Eleanor"

"Are you breaking up with me?" he stepped closer to me

"No, I need space" I looked down

Louis lifted my chin up to look at him "Jessy, I don't want you to break up with me"

"I'm not breaking up with you, Louis. I need space. I need time to think for myself because I've observed these days, I kept on

focusing on our relationship. You need time think too. You need to finish all the things you have with Eleanor"

"Just promise me you won't break up with me" Louis looked directly to my eyes

"I won't keep promises because promises are meant to be broken. I won't break up with you if you won't hurt me"

"Jessy, I love you so much. Promise, I won't hurt you"

I sighed "I know but for now, I need to some time to think"

I started to walk away then Louis called my attention. I looked behind and he kissed my forehead. Louis decided to take me home.

When I arrived home, I saw Eleanor and Henry waiting for me in the dining room for dinner. When they saw me, they rushed going

towards me.

"What did you tell him?" Henry asked

"Did you two break up?" Eleanor asked

"No" I looked at them

I walked going to my room and opened the door

"Are you two okay now?" Eleanor asked

I looked at her "I told him I need space"

"So, what's your plan?" Henry asked

"You'll know" I went inside the room and sat down on my bed

I was thinking of who I really wanted to talk to. Someone who knows how to give me advice. Then, I thought of mom. I would like

to visit her right now. I really miss her. I want to hear her voice again. I decided to pack some of my clothes and went outside the

room.

"Are you not going to eat?" Henry asked while lifting the dishes

"No" 

"Where are you going?" Eleanor asked

"I'm going to mom" I said and went out from the house

I took a taxi cab going to the resort. When I arrived at the resort, I went to mom and dad's room. I pressed the doorbell on their

room. Mom opened the door and she was surprised when she saw me.

"Jessy!" 

I was teary-eyed looking at her. She pulled me for a hug. She let me in their room and let me sit on the bed. John was also 

worried because I ended up crying. Mom was sitting beside me, caressing me. John was across me sitting on a chair.

"What happened?" mom asked

"Mom, I knew about Eleanor and Louis"

"Eleanor and Louis are in a relationship?" mom asked

"No. I knew all about them" I looked down

Mom and John exchanged glances

"Jessy, John and I knew about it"

I looked shocked at mom "All this time you knew about this?"

She pursed her lips and nodded

"Mom! How can you hide this secret from me? Henry and Eleanor kept this from me and it was fine for me but you, mom?

Seriously, you are the one who's now keeping secret from me? All this time I was dumb because I never knew about this wherein 

all of you know. I can't believe you can do this to me, mom" I stood up and looked away from her

She stood up "I was going to tell you"

I looked at her "That was exactly what Louis told me"

"Did you two break up?" mom asked 

"No. I told him we need space. Eleanor still loves him and she wants Louis to come back to her. I mean she wants to start it all over

again. I don't like this situation wherein my stepsister likes my boyfriend. I was down a while ago. I have no one to talk to and I thought

you, mom but knowing all of this...you're not the one I need to talk to" I got my bag and walked away

I was wiping my tears while I was in the taxi cab. I decided to go to Danielle's house. When I arrived there, she was really surprised.

"Why are you crying?" she asked

I hugged her tightly. She let me in their house and we talked inside her room. 

"What happened?" she looked at me

"Eleanor told me that they had a relationship with Louis before..."

"Wait, Eleanor is your stepsister, right?"

"Yes... and I always heard her together with my brother talking about this guy. She keeps on saying that she still loves this guy and

wants to come back for her. I didn't know that they were talking about Louis. She told me a while ago that she was all talking about 

was Louis. The most painful part is, all of them knows about it except me...especially my mom"

Danielle sighed "My gosh. I really don't know about that"

"And now, my best friend Megan, is still in the hospital because she met an accident a while ago. I really don't know what to

right now"

"Did you break up with Louis?"

"No. I told him we need space" I looked at her

"So, what's your plan now?"

I looked down and pursed my lips and I finally thought the best idea. I looked at her "I really wanted to go to a place where I can 

think for myself, where no one can disturb me, where no one who is connected to my problem right now..."

"Where is that place you're referring to?"

"I wanted to go back to Philippines" 

"What?! Are you sure about that?" her eyes went huge

"Yes. I'm pretty sure about it"

"Wait, seriously?"

"Yes. I'm serious about it"

"Okay. Maybe you're just hungry. Have you eaten your dinner?" she stood up

"Not yet"

"Come, let's eat dinner. We don't know maybe you're decision will be changed"

I smiled at her and stood up

I slept for the whole night with Danielle. The next day, I went to buy ticket in going back to Philippines. My ticket was booked for

the next two days. When I went home, I saw mom, John, Henry and Eleanor waiting for me in the living room. When they saw me,

mom stood up "Where have you been Jessy? We've been looking for you"

I looked at her and didn't mind to answer her questions. I walked going to my room 

"Jessy!!! Answer me!" I can say now that she's really angry with me

I looked at her "Now, you care about me? Thanks for the thought that you cared about me. Well in fact, you all turned me into dumb.

I can make now my own decisions. I'm not longer that Jessy who always run after you. I've grown up. Maybe it's time for me to be

independent and for you to let me go" 

I opened the door going inside my room and started to pack my things
