Behind Suzy's smile

"Who was that woman huh?!"
"She was just my co-worker!"
"Really?! You're co-worker?! Does your job requires you to kiss her!?"
"You know what! I cant take this anymore! You are r-!"
"Mom? Dad?" Suzy called.
Suzy's parents we're surprised to see Suzy home early.
And not just that, Suzy was also holding a luggage.
"Suzy.. What are you doing here so early?" Her mom asked in surprise.
Suzy forced a smile on her face.
"I'm going to move in the dorms starting tonight." Suzy stated.
"What? You didn't even told us about it." Her father said.
"I did. But you guys probably forgot because of your IMPORTANT fight." Suzy said that made her parents dumbfounded.
"Well, I'll go now. You guys... continue your fighting." Suzy said while smiling.
Her parents looked at each other in worry.
Suzy has always been like this in their home.
Trying to smile even though its not really necessary.

"This is it!" Hyuna told herself.
Hyuna, Hyunseung, Heechul, Yoona, TOP, G-dragon and Taemin were all inside the dressing room getting ready for the exam.
Each of them has their own businesses.
Some are practicing while some are trying to overcome their nervousness.
"Where's Suzy?" Krystal asked.
Just then, Suzy came inside the dressing room looking pale.
"Suzy. Are you okay?" Yoona asked Suzy who just smiled brightly.
"I'm okay. I'm just a little dizzy." Suzy replied.
"Are you sure?" Yoona asked looking concerned.
Suzy smiled then nodded.
"Eat this clown face." TOP gave Suzy a chocolate bar.
Suzy looked at him blankly then stared at the chocolate bar.
"It will help you calm your anxiety." TOP stated.
"Thanks." Suzy thanked TOP who just nodded.
"You wouldn't poison me right?" Suzy asked suspiciously.
TOP looked at her with a wtf look.
Suzy laughed at his reaction.
"Just kidding, old man." Suzy stated then started eating.

"Bubble.. Bubble.. Bubble pop! Bubble pop! Pop!" Hyuna sang.
"Wow. Is that really her own song?" Yoona asked Hyunseung who nodded.
Hyunseung just stared at Hyuna.
He was watching her every move with a smile plastered on his face.
Yoona noticed it then started grinning.
"You like her huh?" Yoona whispered to Hyunseung.
His eyes widened.
"W-what? Psh. No way." Hyunseung denied.
"You cant fool me. I'm a keen observer." Yoona stated.
"Okay.. I like her. Since I've met her.." Hyunseung said.
"Why dont you tell her?" Yoona asked.
"She's in love..with someone else." Hyunseung stated.
Yoona shook her head.
"With that Junhyung?" Yoona asked and Hyunseung nodded in response.
"Maybe she will fell in love with you too. Be a man, make your move." Yoona patted Hyunseung on his back which made Hyunseung laugh.
Hyuna started bowing while the audience clapped at her performance.
"I'm next." Yoona told Hyunseung then made her way to the backstage.
Yoona posed in the stage waiting for the cue.
The music started and her expression slowly changed to a fierce one.
She started singing 4minutes by madonna.
The audience were surprised at her because she doesn't look like the person who can carry a y song like this.
But she did it well.. Hell no, she did it better than madonna.
"Whoa. That Yoona." Heechul muttered to himself.
They were all amazed at Yoona's stage presence.
Everyone just watched her in silence.
When she finished, it was minutes until they all clapped and cheered for Yoona.
Yoona smiled then bowed.
"WOW. Yoona! You were great! I'm sure you're going to be the highest score!" Hyuna told her excitedly.
"What? I dont think so. I messed up a little back there." Yoona said humbly.
"Yah. Lee Yoona.." Heechul started walking towards her with a poker face.
"You did amazing." Heechul whispered to her ear that made blush.
"Yah. Stop teasing Yoona!" Hyuna pinched Heechul.
"Ow! Okay, I wont." Heechul surrendered.
"Oh. It's Suzy''s turn." Hyuna pointed at Suzy in the stage.
"She looks really pale." Yoona said in worry.

Suzy's head started throbbing in pain.
But she still managed to started her dance routine.
Her expression was a fierce and serious one.
In the middle of the song, her surroudings started spinning.
She tripped on her high heels and sprained her ankle but she continued dancing.
"Is she okay?" Yoona asked in worry and shock at what they saw.
"I hope so." Hyuna started worrying too.
Suzy finished her routine and managed to bow to the audience.
When she got to the backstage, she fainted but Yoona and Hyuna caught her.
"We'll take her to the infirmary." Yoona told Heechul who nodded.

Suzy opened her eyes slowly, she saw Yoona and Hyuna's face in front of her that made her jump.
"You two scared me." Suzy stated then laughed.
"You scared us! What happened to you?" Yoona asked.
"I haven't slept for 1 week, I just practiced day and night for the exam.. But now.. I'm sure I failed." Suzy stated then sighed.
Then she broke into a smile.
"Atleast you two will pass!" Suzy said.
Yoona shook her head and sighed.
"I hope the judges will understand." Yoona stated.
"Oh. Our friends were here earlier but went home early because they have to get some things to move in the dorm." Hyuna stated.
"Really?" Suzy asked and Hyuna nodded.
"Can I go home now? I really hate clinics." Suzy said.
"I'll ask the nurse." Hyuna said then left the room.
"I think I sprained my ankle." Suzy said.
Yoona nodded.
"The doctor already bandaged your foot. He said you cant dance for a few days until it heals or it will get worse." Yoona said.
"I cant dance anyway." Suzy shrugged then laughed.

"I passed?!" Hyuna asked as her eyes widened at the bulletin board in front of her.
"Oh my god. I passed too!" Yoona yelled in happiness then the two started jumping up and down.
"Oh. I passed." Taemin said while smiling widely.
"Me too." Krystal said then started jumping with the two girls.
"I knew it. A perfect person like me will always pass." Heechul stated that made the three girls stopped jumping.
Yoona punched Heechul's arm.
"Your head is really big. Did you know that?" Yoona stated.
"Hyunseung-ssi. Did you pass?" Krystal asked Hyunseung who was silent.
"Yes." Hyunseung smiled.
"Me too." g-dragon said.
"How about you Suzy?" Yoona asked Suzy.
"I.. Failed." Suzy said.
Her friends looked at her to see if she's joking.
But Suzy was just smiling brightly.
"Stop joking Suzy." Hyuna said then laughed awkwardly.
"I'm not joking though." Suzy stated.
TOP couldn't take it anymore.
He couldn't watch this girl always forcing herself to smile brightly. He can see it all. Her real emotions.
TOP grabbed Suzy's hand forcing her to go with him.
Their group of friends were confused at TOP.
They were going to follow the two but Heechul stopped them.
"Leave the two for now. Something is up between those two." Heechul stated.
"But those two are like a cat and dog." Hyuna said.
"I know. But TOP can understand Suzy well. Have you noticed that Suzy is always smiling?" Heechul asked them.
Taemin nodded. "It sometimes creep me out." he said.
"Well.. TOP can see through behind that smile that's why he did this." Heechul stated.

"Why are we here?" Suzy asked TOP.
They were at an old, abandoned room.
"This used to be the room of the special class." TOP said.
"Why did you bring me here?" Suzy asked curiously but she was still smiling.
"You can stop smiling.. Clown face.." TOP said.
"But I can't.. I don't know.. How.." Suzy stated.
"Then sing.." TOP said.
Suzy was confused at TOP's behavior.
But she felt like she needed to trust him.
She started singing a random song.
And slowly... Tears began streaming down her face.
When she finished, she started to smile again but her tears wouldn't stop flowing.
"What.. What did you do to me?" Suzy asked while crying but her smile didn't falter.
TOP walked towards her then pinched her face.
"You can stop smiling. And just cry.." TOP said.
Suzy's smile started disappearing then she started to cry.
"I practiced really hard. I didn't even slept for 1 week! But I.. failed.." Suzy sobbed.
TOP stared at her for a minute then took out something from his pocket.
"Here." TOP gave her a chocolate bar.
"Again?" Suzy asked then laughed.
But Suzy started eating it slowly.
"You know what? I only see your real smile when you're with us.. Your friends." TOP stated that made Suzy surprised.
"Are you.. a stalker?" Suzy asked with her eyes wide that made TOP laugh hard.
Suzy rolled her eyes then continued eating her chocolate.
"This special class thing, its not really a class for the students who failed. Its a class for the special students." TOP stated.
"Really? How did you know?" Suzy asked curiously.
"You know Song Sam Dong?" TOP asked.
"Of course! He's a legend." Suzy stated.
"He came from the special class." TOP said.
Suzy's eyes widened.
"Really?! Cool." Suzy said.
"Hey old man.. You know you're kinda cool." Suzy said.
TOP just shrugged.

Suzy walked towards the special class then sighed.
"I think I'm the only student of the special class." She muttered to herself.
"Yah. Clown face!" TOP yelled that made her frown.
She really didn't want to see him today.
She couldn't sleep at all because of what he did yesterday.
It feels weird for her.
She just walked faster pretending she didn't hear TOP.
But TOP ran to her then put his arm in her shoulder.
Suzy's eyes widened.
She grabbed TOP's arm and twisted it.
"OW! YAH! CLOWN FACE! IT HURTS!" TOP yelled.
"Dont. Do. That. Again. Arasso?" Suzy said while she gritted her teeth.
"Okay. Okay. I wont do it again." TOP promised and Suzy freed him.
"Psh. I cant believe a girl like you have the strength of a man." TOP muttered while Suzy just shook her head.
"Why are you here anyway? Are you still stalking me?" Suzy asked.
"No. I'm in the special class too." TOP stated.
"What?!" Suzy asked in surprise.
"I failed too. Because I forgot the lyrics." He said.
"Whoa. I cant believe you failed old man." Suzy stated.
They were near the special class when they heard murmurs and laughter inside.
Suzy and TOP looked at each other in confusion.
They were shocked when they opened the door to see their friends.
"What are you guys doing here?" Suzy asked in surprise.
