I am hired???

The next morning

Jaejoong POV

I woke up before the alarm had ringed. Yunho was lying at the other side of the bed. Normally he would hold me when we go to sleep, and he is still holding me when I wake up. But not now. I guess he was still mad at me. I stepped out of the bed showered and went downstairs to make breakfast. Just like usually. Junsu and Changmin came down after a while. Just like usually. Changmin was cheery. Just like usually. But Yunho never came downstairs. The never happened before.

‘’ Yunho!’’ I called him.

‘’ yes!’’ he answered but sounded annoyed.

‘’ you need to bring the kids to school!’’

‘’ can’t you go?’’ he told me.

‘’ you always bring them.’’ I said to him. ‘’ well at least you always bring Changmin.’’

Junsu often goes to school at different times. So Yunho can’t always bring him to school, but Yunho always brings Changmin. At really rare occasion I bring them but that only happened two times before. I guess this is such occasion.

‘’ Changmin, I will bring you to school today.’’ I said to Changmin.

‘’ why doesn’t daddy bring me?’’ het questioned.

‘’ Yunho I a bit tired.’’ I told him.

‘’he is okay, right?’’ Changmin asked.

‘’ yes. Tomorrow he will bring you again.’’ I said.

‘’ mom tomorrow is Saturday.’’ Said Junsu to me. ‘’ we don’t have school on Saturday…’’

‘’ oh yeah, right I said.’’ Tomorrow is Saturday.’’

‘’ freeeeeeeeeeeeeee.’’ Changmin screamed and happily ran a few rounds the table.

To see Changmin that happy made me smile.

‘’ let’s go!’’ I said and grabbed his little hand.

‘’ Junsu.’’ I turned around.

‘’ yes mom.’’

‘’ make sure you don’t miss the bus.’’ I said to him.’’ The bus will come in 30 minutes.’’

‘’ yes mom.’’

I had brought Changmin to school and was now back at home.

‘’Yunho!?’’ I called.

‘’ What!’’ he yelled back to me from the living room.

I walked to the living room. Yunho was lazily lying on the couch.

‘’ is this what you’re doing during the day now?’’ I questioned.

‘’ yes.’’ He said coldly.

I looked at him surprised. Where had happy workaholic gone to? Who is this cold lazy guy?

‘’Yunho!’’ I said to him. ‘’isn’t it better to look for a job?

‘’ no.’’ he said.

‘’ then how are we going to get money?’’

He shrugged his shoulders.

‘’ don’t know.’’

There was no reasoning with this guy. Where had my kindhearted Yunho gone to? The Yunho who would think first of others then himself. Why was he like this?

*ring ring *

Saved by the bell. I thought and walked to the front door to open the door for whoever rang the bell.

‘’ hi.’’ Said Yoochun who was standing in the door opening.

‘’ hi’’ I said. ‘’ glad you’re here, Yunho is, yeah well see for yourself.’’ is said and let him in.

‘’ where is he?’’ Yoochun asked.

‘’ in the living room.’’

We walked to the living room. Yunho was still lying on the couch.

‘’Yunho?’’ Yoochun asked.

‘’ what is it this time!’’ Yunho harshly said. ‘’ oh Yoochun it’s you.’’

‘’what happened here?’’ Yoochun asked.

‘’ he got fired, and this is how he spends his time now.’’

‘’ don’t you have anything better to do?’’ Yoochun asked him.

‘’ no.’’ Yunho told him.

‘’ come on.’’ I dragged Yoochun to the kitchen.

I started making coffee. I just needed to do something.

‘’ he got fired?’’ Yoochun asked.

‘’ yes.’’ I said.

‘’ when?’’

‘’ yesterday and since then he is like this. ‘’

‘’mmm, how do you get money for this month then?’’

‘’ I don’t know.’’ I said to him.

I gave him a cup of coffee and sat across from him at the table.

‘’ thanks.’’ He said.

‘’ Yunho is not going to look for job if he is like this.’’ I said.

‘’ I thought so.’’ Yoochun said. ‘’ then why don’t you take a job?’’

Prruuuucht! I almost choked in my coffee.

‘’ what! What did you say? Look for a job myself.’’

‘’ yeah why not?’’

I never really worked. But I had a certificate that allows me to work. When I was younger I wanted to be a kindergarten teacher. When I had just fulfilled the study. I got a child myself and only Yunho worked from then on. I never worked a real job.

‘’ I never worked.’’ I said shyly.

‘’ then it is time to try out, don’t you think?’’

I thought for a moment. Maybe it wasn’t such bad idea. Yunho would be at home alone. That means he needed to do something. Right?

‘’ okay, then I am going to look for a job.’’ I said.

‘’ well…..actually.’’

‘’ yes Yoochun?’’

‘’ you know I work at a school.’’

‘’ yes.’’

‘’ well the school need a kindergarten teacher.’’

‘’ so you thought of me?’’

‘’ yes.’’

‘’ then you’re lucky, you just found you’re teacher.’’

Yoochun smiled.

‘’ when can I start?’’

‘’ tomorrow.’’

‘’ are you serious!’’

‘’ yes I am’’ he said.

‘’ good.’’

I walked to the living room. I smiled.

‘’ Yunho!’’ I jumped on the couch.

‘’ what are you doing?’’ he looked up annoyed.

‘’ I am going to work.’’ I said smiling.

‘’ what! Why?’’ he looked shocked.

‘’ well, you’re not going to work, and Yoochun offered me a job.’’

He looked angry very angry. I thought he was going to beat up Yoochun, but then his facial expression changed. He looked at me with cold eyes.

‘’ just do your best.’’

He looked back to the TV. He didn’t care at all. I walked back to the kitchen.

‘’ let’s celebrate this with a piece of cake.’’

I grabbed two pieces of the cake I made yesterday. I gave one to Yoochun and one for me. I looked at the clock. In two hours I need to pick up Changmin.

‘’ are you going to stay so you can see Changmin and Junsu?’’

‘’ yeah why not?’’

‘’ good.’’ I said and put a spoon full of cake in my mouth.

so this is the second chapter.

i decided to make my chapter a bit shorter. otherwise i am afraid that i will make the story boring. but now the chapter are a bot shorter i think i need to add more chapters. and now that there a bit shorter i know for sure i can update more often. at least ones a week so next weekend there will be an other update. (28 , 29 april) but i hope i can update more often than that.
