The Engagement

As Hyuna scrolled through her Instagram feed, she saw that Dawn had posted a photo of a beautiful opal ring. Her heart skipped a beat as she read the caption: "The best things in life are worth waiting for. Will you marry me, Hyuna?"

She couldn't believe it. Was this really happening? She had always known that Dawn cared for her deeply, but she had never expected a proposal.

As she read through the comments, she saw that her fans were thrilled for them. She felt a mix of excitement and nerves wash over her as she thought about what the future held.

Later that day, Dawn came home with a huge bouquet of flowers and a nervous expression on his face.

"Did you see it?" he asked, taking her hand.

Hyuna nodded, her heart racing. "Yes, I saw it."

Dawn's face broke into a huge grin. "So, will you marry me?"

Hyuna hesitated for a moment, her mind racing with doubt. Did she really want to marry Dawn? Was this the right choice for her?

But then she looked into his eyes, and all of her worries melted away. Dawn was kind and supportive, and he loved her deeply.

"Yes," she said, taking a deep breath. "I will."

The opal ring that Dawn slipped on her finger was absolutely stunning. The couple rings had a simple yet elegant design, with a delicate silver band that wrapped around the finger and held a mesmerizing opal stone. The opals themselves were a blend of colors, with shades of pink, blue, and green shimmering in the light. As she turned her hand, the colors seemed to dance and shift, giving off an almost magical glow. The rings were truly a work of art, and Hyuna couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by their beauty.

Dawn hugged her tightly, and Hyuna tried to push away her doubts. She was ready to take the next step with him, even if she wasn't completely sure that it was the right one.

As the news of her engagement with Dawn spread, Hyuna couldn't help but remember the rumors that had circulated just a year ago. She had caught the bride's bouquet at a close friend's wedding, and suddenly, everyone had started talking about her own potential marriage.

It wasn't just the public, either. Hyuna had confided in her close friend and fellow artist, Kim Shin-young, about the possibility of her future with Dawn. She had even admitted that her mother liked him, and that Dawn had spoken at length with her father.

And then there were the photos. She and Dawn had posed together in all-white outfits, and the images had sparked a flurry of speculation about their relationship status.

Now, as she prepared for her own wedding, Hyuna couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. Had she made the right choice? Was she truly ready to spend the rest of her life with Dawn?

She tried to push those thoughts aside, reminding herself of all the good times they had shared and the deep love that they had for each other. But still, the doubts lingered, casting a shadow over what should have been a joyous occasion.

Their engagement announcement caused a stir on social media, with fans sending their congratulations and well-wishes to the couple.

Despite the outpouring of support, Hyuna still had doubts lingering in her mind. She wondered if she had made the right decision in accepting Dawn's proposal, given the unresolved feelings she still had for Hyunseung.

Hyuna couldn't help but think back to the moments she had shared with Hyunseung, the butterflies in her stomach and the longing she felt whenever they were apart. She wondered if she would ever be able to fully let go of those feelings and move on with Dawn.

As she looked at her engagement ring, Hyuna felt a mix of emotions. She was happy to be engaged to someone she loved, but at the same time, she couldn't shake off the doubts that lingered in her heart. She knew that she needed to talk to Dawn about her feelings and figure out what she really wanted for her future.

Her mind drifted back to a time when she and Hyunseung visited the butterflies of Buramsang Garden. Amid the fluttering wings and delicate beauty of the creatures, Hyuna saw herself as a Nabillera, spreading her wings and learning to fly.

Later that month, Hyuna arrived in Psy's recording studio and began to lay down the vocals for "Nabillera". She couldn't help but think about Hyunseung as she sang the lyrics. Despite her engagement to Dawn, she still had lingering feelings for her former partner.

As she sang, she realized that "Nabillera" was more than just a song. It was a representation of her journey as a solo artist and the struggles she faced along the way. But as she continued to record, she couldn't shake the feeling of guilt for not being completely happy about her engagement with Dawn.

She knew that Psy and Dawn had put their own spin on the song, and although she appreciated their input, she couldn't help but feel like they were taking away from her creative expression. As the recording session came to an end, Hyuna couldn't help but wonder if her true artistic vision would ever be realized.

The memory of the butterflies in Buramsang Garden still fresh in her mind, Hyuna knew that she needed to make a change in her life to find true happiness.

As Hyunseung slid into the backseat of the taxi cab, he couldn't help but feel a mix of anticipation and anxiety about the future. The cab's worn upholstery and slightly musty smell provided a familiar comfort, while the colorful array of air fresheners hanging from the rearview mirror swayed gently with every turn.

Hyunseung pulled out his phone and dialed his manager's number, eager to discuss his recent decision to change his name to Able and his plans for his upcoming LP, "Feeling." As the phone rang, he glanced out of the window, watching the city lights whiz by, their reflections dancing on the glass.

His manager picked up the call, and Hyunseung dove right into the conversation. "I've been thinking a lot about this, and I'm ready for a fresh start. I want to put everything behind me and focus on my music," he said, his voice filled with determination.

His manager, who had always been supportive of Hyunseung's career choices, agreed with his decision. "I think it's a great idea. This is your chance to show the world what you're truly capable of, Able. Let's make 'Feeling' an album to remember."

As their conversation continued, the taxi driver couldn't help but overhear bits and pieces of their discussion. Intrigued, he couldn't resist asking the question that had been nagging at him since he recognized his famous passenger. "Is it true? Will you ever get back with Hyuna?"

Hyunseung hesitated for a moment, caught off guard by the taxi driver's unexpected inquiry. He glanced at the rearview mirror and saw the driver's eyes filled with curiosity, reflecting the city's glow.

"I don't know," he replied honestly, his voice wavering slightly. "Life is unpredictable, and I'm just trying to find my own path right now. But, who knows what the future holds?" He smiled faintly, realizing that even he didn't have all the answers.

The taxi driver nodded in understanding, respecting Hyunseung's privacy, and focused his attention back on the road. Meanwhile, Hyunseung continued his call with his manager, discussing plans for his upcoming LP and the new direction his life was taking.

As the taxi sped through the city streets, Hyunseung knew that he was heading towards a new chapter in his life, filled with uncertainty and excitement. And, even though the memories of his past with Hyuna would always linger in his heart, he was determined to forge his own path and make a name for himself as Able.
