From Here We Go SublimeINT. DINING ROOM - JUNG RESIDENCE - EVENING
The sound of blaring ethereal guitar music coming from upstairs. When The Sun Hits by Slowdive.
JESSICA opens up a box of pizza. She sets out two plates, napkins, and two glasses of coke. She pats the table in acceptance of the set up.
The music from upstairs grows louder. JESSICA responds with a look of disapproval on her face. She walks up to KRYSTAL’S door and gives a loud knock.
JESSICA
Krystal!
Now answer. The music continues.
JESSICA
(knocking louder)
Krystal!
The music comes to a sudden halt.
KRYSTAL
(behind the door)
O-One second!
JESSICA
The pizza is here. Come on!
The sound of boisterous shuffling from behind the door.
KRYSTAL
I’m...I’m coming! I’ll be done in a second.
JESSICA crosses her arms and taps her foot.
JESSICA
Be quick! I don't want it to get cold!
A loud thud.
JESSICA
Are you okay in there?
KRYSTAL
Yes! I’ll be down in a second, okay?
Growing concerned, JESSICA instinctively grabs the door knob. She pauses before shaking her head and heading back down the stairs.
INT. DINING ROOM - JUNG RESIDENCE - EVENING
KRYSTAL clusimly lifts a slice of pizza to . It falls over onto the plate. She picks it back up, only to fail once again. She closes her eyes and wobbles slightly in her seat. JESSICA observes this as it happens.
JESSICA
You okay?
KRYSTAL rubs the back of her head with heavy eyes.
KRYSTAL
Yeah.
JESSICA looks unsold.
JESSICA
You look really exhausted, Krys.
KRYSTAL
I sort of am, I guess.
JESSICA
Not too exhausted to blast your music for the whole neighborhood to hear, though, are you?
KRYSTAL responds with a small smile, slowly beginning to lean over the table. She realizes she is doing so, and immediately sits straight in her chair.
JESSICA
You sure you’re okay?
KRYSTAL
The new medication they have me on is pretty...pretty sedative, I guess.
JESSICA frowns at the sight of KRYSTAL dozing off.
JESSICA
Well, you really don’t look too good.
KRYSTAL
I think, I just...I just need to go to the bathroom real quick.
KRYSTAL sluggishly rises from her chair. As she walks away, she finds herself tripping over herself onto the ground. JESSICA rushes over to her. She grabs her by the torso and lifts her back up to her feet.
