Foreword

Introduction

I was always a solitary child with no real friends except for those that I was forced to interact with by my parents and an older 'brother' that watched over me in his own strange way.

So, I was not too surprised when they said that they would get me a pet to keep me company since I had no intention of having any human contact anytime soon. To be honest I was actually looking forward to getting a pet. I had always envied the 'friends' that had cute pets whenever our family visited their house. I would more often than not spend more time interacting and playing with their owners’ pets then my actual 'friends'. So, if my parent finally realised that getting me a pet would help me to become more sociable child and would also keep me happy, I would oblige.
