On time, there's just never enoughHave you ever thought about what it means to just do something and not think? Certainly that is opposite to what Miyawaki Sakura would normally do. Her life as she has had thus far, is carefully planned and thought out ever since she was made painfully aware of falling behind her peers and missing out on schools she dreamt of. Now, she made it - earning a scholarship to pursue her degree in Barcelona, across the ocean and over into a new environment. This for her was a big step, but also one that allows her to relish in her hard-earned success, being the rare few awarded an architecture scholarship in her country of origin.
So there she was, dragging her life’s worth contained in two huge suitcases across Barcelona-El Prat airport and onto the famous black yellow cab. Lights started off sparse with only necessary street lamps planted along the highway. As she got further, she could feel it - the buzzing atmosphere from the increasing traffic, the nearing sparkles of city lights and unfortunately, the immediate jam break applied by the buff taxi driver as he missed the timing to pass the intersection. Not too many red lights later, the taxi slowed down alongside a pavement slightly less crowded from the night scenes she witnessed while cruising around the city. “Mucho Gracias (Thank you very much)” was all she could manage as the taxi driver easily unloaded her suitcases, finishing with a smile completely unlike his demeanor.
