Seulgi squinted her eyes when the light is too strong and the surrounding started to become clearer. Her body feels so heavy and numb like it was being stuffed with cotton. When she tried to move her hands, she could feel someone holding it loosely.

It was Jaebum. Her eyes widened immediately. He was sleeping beside her, his head on her bed and both hands holding hers.

Jaebum stirred awake when he felt her moving around. He lifted his head and look straight into her eyes, tightening his hands around hers and smiled. Then he gently pat her head, "That's my girl. You're so strong Seulgi. They weren't sure if you're gonna make it and yet you proved them wrong."

All the pent up emotions that's been weighing her down is soothed by Jaebum's loving gaze and touches. Seulgi could feel her eyes watering slightly. Her hands moved to carress his cheeks just like what she used to do when they were kids. "I...miss you, Jaebum. I miss you so much."
