Genie’s POV

The next day

Ella and Chun weren’t home; they have gone out to plan for the upcoming party which will be held two days after school starts.

“I can’t believe dad is doing this to us!” Hebe shouted we were all in her room chilling.

“Would you stop shouting?” I asked rubbing my ears.

“Sorry… it’s just that living with Jiro is already awkward enough… what will happen if we get married?”

“San Jie, do you like Jiro Ge?” Gui asked sitting on Hebe’s bed.

“I- I… I really don’t know… We only went out a few times and kissed once-”

“What??? You two kissed? When?” I asked jumping up.

“It was by accident! I was about to fall but he caught me, we were to close someone pushed him and we kissed. I didn’t feel anything at all!” Hebe said face starting to get red.

“Oh…” did all I could say not believe her.

“Enough about me! What about you? How are you and Calvin getting along?” she asked me.

“We are not getting along, at all.” I stated.

“But yesterday you two looked really close!” Gui uttered.

“He was just being nice!”

“Why do I have a feeling you aren’t telling us something?” Hebe asked putting her face close to mine.

“I have nothing hiding from you guys!” I don’t know if I should tell them that I have dated Calvin before, and he was the person I had hurt, because of daddy...

Trying to avoid Hebe’s question I quickly asked Gui.

“How are you and Aaron?” I blurted out. “Are you guys dating?”

“WHAT???” she asked in shock as she spat out her ice tea. “What about me and him?”

“You guys seem to me in a friendly term.” I said remembering about her huge panda.

“Didn’t he give you that panda yesterday?” I asked.

“He was just being nice!” Gui tried to explain but I didn’t believe it.

“Are you starting to love him?” I asked.

“WHAT??  I don’t love him! I think of him as a friend! I like somebody else!” Gui shouted to the top of her lungs.

Hebe and I were shocked; we have never seen Gui this mad before. I looked at Hebe as Gui stomped out of the room.

“Aaron!” Calvin shouted as we saw Aaron ran pass with Calvin chasing after him, as for Jiro he stopped and looked at Hebe and I, he kind of looked mad and ran off after his brothers.

I looked at Hebe, “This is bad…” Hebe nodded looking worried.

Aaron’s POV

I clenched my fist and ran off, after hearing what Gui said.

“Aaron!” Calvin yelled running after me.

Why does my heart hurt so much? I asked myself. I wished we had never eavesdropped on their conversation.  Jiro and Calvin thought it would be fun. But how it turned out wasn’t fun.

I almost crashed into Gui while I was running.

“Hey watch it!” she looked at me, “Aaron… are you crying?” she asked.

I ignored her and ran to my car got in and drove off. Not long I saw two more cars right behind me. It was Calvin and Jiro, but I didn’t slow down I drove faster and they followed.
