“I’ve missed you so much.” Tiffany says after a few moments. “The first few months…” Tiffany hesitates.

“I cried myself to sleep everyday. Even before we broke up. I missed you, I missed your warmth, I missed your touch.” Tiffany exhales forlornly. 

Taeyeon unclasps their hands and lifts her palm to cup Tiffany’s cheeks. She closes the gap and captures Tiffany’s lips in hers. The kiss was slow, soft and delicate, their emotions pouring out to the other party. 

Tiffany pants softly as she pushes Taeyeon down gently and climbs on top of her. She leans in and lightly on Taeyeon’s bottom lip. Taeyeon slips her fingers into Tiffany’s hair and deepens their kiss. Tiffany pushes Taeyeon’s top up and clutches onto her waist. 

The doorbell rings. 

They immediately broke apart and looked at each other in the haze, breathing heavily. 

“Must be my manager.” Taeyeon gets up and straightens her shirt while Tiffany neatens her hair.

“Zero ah, let’s go to Umma.” She coos as she picks Zero up and heads to the door.

“Oh Umma? I didn’t think you were coming.” Taeyeon’s eyes widened in astonishment as she saw her mother after opening the door. 

“Just in case this happens.” She points at Taeyeon’s swollen lips and chuckles. Taeyeon’s cheeks grew bright red. “Anyway, thanks again.” She pushes Zero into her mother’s arms. 

“Is Tiffany decent? I want to say Hi.” Her mother jokes, causing Taeyeon to groan. 

Taeyeon looks behind her, “Mom wants to say Hi.”

Tiffany shows a thumbs up and Taeyeon opens the door wider, allowing her mother to watch as Tiffany approaches them.

“Hello Mrs Kim.” Tiffany gives a little wave.

“Oh Fany ah, it’s good to see you again after such a long time.” Taeyeon’s mother reaches out to pat Tiffany’s cheek.

“It really has been a long time.” 

“Yes, and you became more beautiful too.”

“Thank you Mrs Kim.” 

“Alright, I won’t disturb you two any longer, you girls have fun. Remember to come visit me when you’re in Jeonju!” Mrs Kim smiles warmly and waves, before heading back to the parked car on the street.

“Thanks mom! See you tomorrow!” 

“Bye Mrs Kim!”

They watched as the car drove away before closing the door. 

“My mom was making fun of me.” Taeyeon groans, “because of the prized art piece on my lips done by Tiffany Young Hwaeng.” She made sure to pronounce her last name in an American way. 

Tiffany giggles, before her expression turns into a mischievous and lustful one, “at least she won’t be able to see the marks I’m going to leave on you next.” 

Taeyeon’s breath shudders a little as Tiffany grasps her hand and pulls her into her room.

The sun rays seeped through the gaps of the curtains and luminated the room. Tiffany opens her eyes, allowing them to get used to the light. She looks down at the sleeping person nuzzled against her chest and sees Taeyeon’s baby-like sleeping face. She places a chaste kiss on Taeyeon’s forehead and tightens her hold on Taeyeon. She stares at the empty ceiling, trying to remember the last time she was feeling this blissful.

A while later, Taeyeon stirs from her sleep. She stretches her body and yawns. She turns to Tiffany and the edges of her lips curved up. “I haven’t slept this well in ages.”

“Me too.” Tiffany caresses her head.

“Shall we go out for a bit today? Since it’s early now. Let’s have a short date.” Tiffany suggests.

Taeyeon nods and sits up, gasping in surprise and hugging herself as the comforter slides off her body. 

“Are you… shy right now?” Tiffany asks incredulously.

“Uh, yes?” Taeyeon’s face scrunched up.

“Do you realise that I have literally just been inside of you a few hours ago?” Tiffany raised her palm questioningly.

Taeyeon groans and buries her head in her arm. 

“Can you not?”

“Okay fine.” Tiffany lifts her hands in surrender. “I will close my eyes. Go ahead.” Taeyeon watches as Tiffany places her fingers against her face, clearly watching through the gaps. 

“Hey!” Taeyeon scowls and slaps her arm before hopping off the bed and scurrying into the bathroom.

“You’re a dork!” Tiffany shouts before laughing, amused.

They headed to a nearby cafe for breakfast. Taking a seat at the terrace, they ordered their food and started chatting, talking about the other members. 

A few fans approached them to say hello and they returned their greetings politely, a little surprised and also thankful that they were recognised across the world.

When they finished their food, they opted to walk along the streets to do a little shopping. Taeyeon freezes a little when she feels Tiffany’s hand slip into hers.

“It’s okay. We’re in the same group, no one will think much of it.” Tiffany whispers as she sees Taeyeon tensing up.

Taeyeon turns to look at Tiffany and feels assured by her warm gaze. She interlocks their fingers and smiles a little. While walking, Tiffany swings their hands lightly.

“This reminds me of our New York trip in 2015.” Tiffany comments. Taeyeon hums in agreement.

After a while, it was time to head back to the house.

“I’m going to miss you so much.” Taeyeon sighs as she reaches out to hold Tiffany’s hands. 

Tiffany wraps her arms around Taeyeon and breathes in her scent. “Me too.” 

Taeyeon rests her forehead on Tiffany’s shoulder and exhales dispiritedly. “I don’t want to leave.”

“I don’t want you to leave either, I wish I could go back to Korea with you.” Tiffany mumbles, lifting Taeyeon’s hair and placing a kiss on her helix.

The doorbell rings and Taeyeon sighs again.

“It will be okay. Just call me when you miss me. I’ll do the same.” Tiffany pats Taeyeon’s head before getting up and bringing Taeyeon along with her. 

“Hello Tiffany-ssi, I’m here for Taeyeon.” Taeyeon’s manager greets as Tiffany opens the door. 

“I’m here.” Taeyeon appears from behind her.

Taeyeon’s manager nods and starts returning to the car that was parked by the sidewalk.

“Bye.” Taeyeon says, hesitation evident in her voice.

“Bye.” Tiffany gives her a small smile.

Taeyeon inches closer to her, “Will you kiss me?”

Tiffany, slightly startled by the request of public display of affection, looked at their surroundings and back at Taeyeon.

“Are you sure?” 

“Yes.” Taeyeon paws at Tiffany’s waist softly.

Tiffany takes a few steps back and pulls Taeyeon towards her. She plants her lips on Taeyeon’s. 

“I love you. Now go, or I might not let you.”

“Alright,” Taeyeon pouts a little. “I love you too.” She exhales before retreating, waving to Tiffany as she enters the car.
