Contract Killer: Vendetta

Eunbi pressed her lips together as she pulled the roll of tape over the cardboard box. She cut the tape and patted the box as she stood up to look around the room.

There were several other boxes that were either sealed or still open, scattered around the floor. Eunha appeared in the doorway to bring another sealed box out to the front door. The pair had decided that for they would move into the penthouse. They had come back a few days ago to pack up and found a few threat messages from the mafia. Big boss definitely wasn’t happy about his right-hand man being slaughtered by Eunbi. They would definitely be back and the girls weren’t taking any chances. Who knows what they might do to them and the apartment that wasn’t even theirs.

Eunbi walked over to another box and sealed it up before pushing it to the doorway for Eunha to collect it. Their shared room was now empty except for the original furniture that the owner had loaned to them. They also realized how much stuff they had while they were packing up. Little knickknacks that they didn’t even know they owned were found stashed away at the back of drawers and cabinets. Maybe they could sell them and get a little money back.

“B, where’s the tape?” Eunha asked from the kitchen.

“It’s in here!” Eunbi yelled back as she walked out to toss the roll of tape at Eunha who was standing behind a box of their kitchenware.

“Thanks.”

Eunbi walked back to the room to bring out the box that she had sealed since the other girl was busy. It was a small apartment so they had finished packing all their stuff in just a day and a half. She gave Yerin a call to let them know they were ready and the girl was right over in less than 30 minutes.

“Which is the heaviest?” Yerin asked as soon as Eunha opened the door.

“This one. It’s filled with books.” She pointed at a box that was at the bottom of a stack.

“I’ll get that,” Yerin said as Eunbi removed the box on top. Seemingly without effort, the blonde bent down and lifted it as if it was the lightest box. Eunbi and Eunha's jaw almost went slack. That box had to weigh at least 17 kg or so. It wasn't very heavy but to pick it up from the ground without a grunt or strain was quite a feat.

“The car is right outside. I might not be able to stay for long, can’t park here apparently.” Yerin said. Eunha opened the door for Eunbi and Yerin to walk out. They placed them on the floor beside the trunk and walked back to get the rest of the boxes. When they were all out, Yerin opened the trunk.

“Will they all fit?” Eunha asked.

“With a little bit if a squeeze... maybe,” Yerin replied as she looked at the boxes to size them up. She walked to the side door and folded down the left seat, leaving only the seat directly behind the shotgun upright. She then took the heaviest box and loaded it onto the folded seat before closing the door. The last box was shoved in and the trunk was shut before anything could fall out. They hopped in the car and Yerin drove off.

“What do you want for dinner? We’re too lazy to cook so we decided on takeaways.” Yerin said as they hit the main road.

“I’m fine with anything.” Eunbi shrugged and Eunha gave the same response.

“How about pizza? Or chimaek?”

“Chimaek sounds good,” Eunha said, perking up.

“We’ll stop by the store for beer then. Can you get it?” Yerin glanced at the short-haired girl in the mirror and the latter nodded. She turned the radio on and immediately heard a report on the CEO’s death.

“They’re still on?” Eunha asked from the back seat.

“It’s the CEO. For a well-known banking corporation on top of that. They’re going to be on this for weeks.” Eunbi replied.

“The police have found no evidence of foul play or traces of possible suspects at the scene of the crime. CCTV on the roads captured the car driving towards the headquarters of UBC but all seemed normal in the car. Both the driver and the secretary have given their statements to the police who will be doing a further follow up.”

“How did they not find anything suspicious?” Eunbi asked, amazed that there wasn’t the slightest suspicion of an assassination.

“This is why we wear suits. Remember the chauffeur? He was in a suit too, wasn’t he? All I had to do was to adjust my seat so that my face will not be shown on the camera. It might result in a bruised head every time we went over a bump but it would be worth.” Yerin explained as she made a U-turn.

“But your hands? Won’t they see it’s different?” Eunha asked.

“I never had my hands at the top of the wheel,” Yerin said and Eunbi looked over to see Yerin’s hand resting at the bottom of the wheel, wrists almost touching her lap. The exact same position as the other time that she was checking the girl out. Eunbi had thought it was because the car was stationary but it seemed like it was a habit.

“I never have them on the top unless I’m doing a sharp turn, a U-turn or I’m in the suburbs where there aren’t any cameras. You never know if they compare this to other footages and such.” Yerin said as she

So I just found out I haven’t written a review of this story yet so I’m going to do it now, but everything might be a little foggy since I read this a few weeks ago. First I loved the characters in this story, non of them were out of place to me and they all fit their personality perfectly. Everything here flowed perfectly it wasn’t too fast but it also wasn’t slow so I never got bored. Second I really liked the plot of the story, I’ve always been fascinated with like the secret agent even if this isn’t really it but it’s sort of similar. But I loved the action, because of it I wanted to read more. I want to write more about this but I really can’t remeber specific things I liked so when I reread this I most probably will write a better review of this! Overall this was one of the best Gfriend sorry I’ve read! Great Work!

Hello excuse me authornim. I think i finished this story in.. uhh 2 days maybe. I didnt even care about work, i just had to finish the story coz it's just sooo good! I regret not reading this earlier. Nonetheless, I enjoyed it very much. It was beautifully written and i loved the plot, also added my knowledge to cars and weapons lmao. All those blood and fighting scenes that you described, sometimes it scares me, i really hope you are not thinking about to be an assassin or sumn... HAHAH jk. Anyway, i havent started CK2, maybe i'll read it after this or tomorrow. So you better update CK2 please.. hahah. Thankyou tammy! See you soon with your 28738 sinrin aus that you kept in mind but never write it :))))))) hahahah
