L.A... Here We Come! ~ Part 1

 

A month later, at Incheon Airport

 

“I can’t believe I’m here to send all of you abroad once again”, Mrs. Kwon said while dramatically shaking her head in disbelief. The trio laughed at her antics.

 

“Don’t forget that dad is with you this time”, Yuri said while glancing at his father. Mrs. Kwon just rolled her eyes annoyingly.

 

“I don’t want her to cry after sending all of you to the airport like last time”, Mr. Kwon replied, teasing his wife as he chuckled.

 

“What are you talking about? When did I cry?”, Mrs. Kwon asked while furrowed her brows.

 

“I’m just kidding, jagiya. I don’t want you to feel sad and lonely after sending them. So, I’m here to accompany you. We can have our lunch at your favorite cafe here before we go home”, Mr. Kwon said while smiling sweetly to his wife.

 

“Aww.. too much sweets you ate last night, dad?”, Yuri jokes, causing YoonA and Hani giggled on his words. Mr. Kwon just glared at his son, but then he giggled as he found it funny too.

 

“Alright, enough with the drama! I want you to be careful always, and send my regards to the Jungs. Don’t forget to tell them that I couldn’t come to Krystal’s wedding because of this old man”, Mrs. Kwon said while glaring at her husband.

 

“Eh? Why am I the reason you couldn’t come? I don’t have any schedules or meetings that clash with Krystal’s wedding date?”, Mr. Kwon asked.

 

“I hope you still don’t lose your memory too. Did you forget what Dr. Jang told you on your last appointment? You can’t fly because of your recent knee surgery?”, Mrs. Kwon replied as she reminded him.

 

“Ah, yes. How can I forget about that? Silly me, hehe..”, Mr. Kwon said as he chuckled.

 

“Mom, dad. Enough with your argument. We need to go now. Take care, okay?”, Yuri said as he leaned forward to hug his mother and father in turn, followed by YoonA and Hani.

 

After bidding the parents goodbye, the trio then walked towards the boarding gate while waving at them.

12 hours later

 

Their flight safely landed the next morning at LAX Airport, and according to the plan, they will check-in at the hotel first to get their rest before they can continue with their schedules.

 

“Shall we call Sica unnie first to inform her that we are already here?”, YoonA asked Yuri who was busy putting their luggage at the corner of the bedroom. Yuri booked a suite which has two bedrooms, but knowing that Hani doesn’t want to sleep alone, he just put his daughter’s luggage in the master bedroom.

 

“I think maybe later. For now, let’s get a rest first. Are you hungry?”, Yuri replied as he sat on the bed.

 

“Yeah. We just had an early breakfast in flight. I’m still hungry”, she said.

 

“Alright. I will call a room service”, he replied. He then glanced at Hani who was still sleeping on the bed. “This sleepyhead, aigoo..”, he said as he shook his head. Hani really inherits her mother’s sleeping habit.

 

“She’s having jet lag, honey. Let her sleep some more”, YoonA replied.

 

“Arasso. I think we just ordered a burger set or club sandwich for her. She can eat it after she wakes up later”, Yuri suggested while flipping through the menu pamphlet of the hotel.

 

“The food will be cold. Just order for two of us. I will order for her after she wakes up later”, YoonA said.

 

“Alright, as you said so”, he replied as he ready to call the room service to make orders.

 

Meanwhile, at The Jung-Choi residence

 

“Daniella, come here sweetie”, Sooyoung called his daughter who was in her own world playing with her Lego set in the playroom.

 

“Yes, daddy”, Daniella replied as she got up from the floor where she was sitting. She then walked faster to her father who was leaning on the room’s door. Sooyoung squatted down to match with the height of his little girl.

 

“Mommy wants you to take a shower. We are going to meet Hani unnie today”, he softly said. Daniella’s eyes widened in surprise.

 

“Hani unnie is here?”, she said with her high pitch voice, showing her excitement the moment she heard her older sister’s name.

 

“Yes, sweetie. We are going to meet her, Uncle Yuri and Aunt YoonA today. So, mommy wants you to take a shower and wear a pretty dress. We will have our dinner together tonight”, Sooyoung replied.

 

“Yeayy! Hani unnie is here!”, the little girl said excitedly while jumping up and down. “Can Daniella ask Hani unnie to sleep here tonight, daddy?”, Hani cutely asked.

 

“You have to ask mommy first, okay? But, daddy can guarantee mommy wants Hani unnie to stay with us while they are here”, Sooyoung replied.

 

“Okay, daddy. Daniella will ask mommy first. Bye daddy!”, the little girl quickly replied and sprinted to her parent’s room where Jessica was.

 

“Aishh.. This little brat. Don’t run, will you?”, Sooyoung exclaimed while looking at his daughter slowly disappearing from his sight. He just shook his head and laughed at Daniella’s cute antics.

 

Back to the hotel where The Kwon were staying

 

“That’s fast”, Yuri said while looking at his cellphone screen. Jessica’s name popped up, calling him.

 

“Who’s calling?”, YoonA asked while munching her food.

 

“Jessica. I thought she would call us later”, he replied as he immediately answered the call.

 

“Hello, Yul. I got an instinct that you’ve already landed in L.A.”, she said.

 

“Huh? H-how did you know?”, he replied in surprise. Jessica laughed over his words.

 

“You’re so slow like a snail, Yul. Don’t you remember my cousin, Matt? He’s a pilot, silly. He was the one who brought you to L.A. today. He’s the pilot of your flight today, you know”, she said.

 

“Really? How I can’t remember him, huh?”, Yuri replied while scratching his non-itchy head.

 

“So, where’s my daughter? Can I speak to her?”, Jessica asked with an enthusiastic voice.

 

“She’s basically practicing your lifetime hobby right now”, Yuri replied as she chuckled, earning a groan from the latter.

 

“Yah! That’s not a hobby. That’s a need!”, she snapped, causing Yuri to burst into laughter as he found the words were funny.

 

“Whatever it is, I want three of you to be at my house at 8.00 p.m. sharp. Bring Hani’s luggage too. She’s compulsory to stay with us for this one month. Send me your hotel location. I will send my chauffeur to the hotel at 7.00 p.m. We will have dinner together at my house tonight”, she said.

 

“What are you, an army sergeant?”, he replied with an annoyed tone.

 

“Enough with your sarcastic, Yul. Meet you at my house, 8.00 p.m tonight, bye!”, Jessica bid goodbye, ending the call. Yuri stared at his cellphone in a disbelief face.

 

“This woman. Who she thinks I am, huh? Her servant?”, Yuri grunted.

 

“What did Jessica unnie say just now?”, YoonA asked.

 

“What else? She never changed. Always ordered me to do this and that”, he replied. YoonA giggled on his childish antics.

 

“You two like small kids though. Just follow whatever she wants, honey. She missed Hani so much”, YoonA said.

 

“She’s inviting us to have dinner at her house. She will send her chauffeur at 7.00. So, we still got time to sleep for a while and get ready. I think Hani won’t get up until we will be leaving the hotel”, Yuri replied.

 

“Yeah. Let her get enough rest, so she won’t get cranky later”, YoonA said.

 

Later on that evening

 

“Hani ya, mommy asked daddy to bring your luggage. She wants you to stay with her for a month. You can play and have fun with your little sister and brother. How about that?”, Yuri said while combing his daughter’s hair. She just woke up from sleep and just took her shower.

 

“Chincha, daddy? Mommy wants Hani to stay with her?”, Hani asked.

 

“Yes, sweetie. That’s why your mommy asked daddy to bring your luggage to her house too. We will have dinner together at your mommy’s house, and you will stay with her until our holiday is over”, Yuri replied.

 

“Yeayy! Hani can play with Daniella and Daniel!”, the little girl exclaimed excitedly while clapping her hands. Yuri and YoonA just smiled while looking at the excited little girl.

 

“Don’t be too excited, okay? Please behave yourself while you are there. You’re a big sister to your siblings, so, you must show a good example to them, arasso?”, Yuri said.

 

“Yes, Sir!”, Hani playfully salutes her father.

 

“Aigoo.. You’re so excited to leave us, huh?”, Yuri said with a pout.

 

“No, daddy! Hani just stayed with mommy for a while. Hani wants to live with daddy until daddy grows old and loses all your teeth”, Hani said truthfully. YoonA couldn’t help but laugh at Hani's words.

 

“Yah! That’s too much! Daddy will still have teeth even though daddy’s hair turns to white. Daddy will always look handsome, though”, Yuri cockily said. Hani and YoonA just giggled at his words.

 

“Alright, handsome Kwon Yuri. Can you please make it faster? We got only ten minutes before the chauffeur will come to pick us up”, YoonA said, reminding her fiance.

 

“Arasso, arasso. Sorry!”, Yuri replied as he immediately got up from the bed after he finished tying Hani’s hair into a ponytail. “Hani ya, take your handbag, and put on your shoes. We need to go now”, Yuri said as he instructed Hani to do so.

 

“Dae, daddy”, Hani replied as she obediently did as instructed.

 

At the hotel’s lobby

 

“Mr. Kwon?”, a man looks like in his thirties greeting Yuri who was sitting at the lobby’s coach. Yuri startled while immediately turning his head towards the man.

 

“Ermm, yes?”, he replied.

 

“I’m Robert, Ms. Jung and Mr. Choi chauffeur. My boss asked me to fetch you up to her house. Shall we go now?”, he politely said.

 

“Ah, yes! Sure, Mr. Robert”, he replied as he immediately got up from the couch. “Ladies, let’s go now”, Yuri said to YoonA and Hani while carrying his daughter’s luggage.

 

“Let me help you with that, Sir”, Robert said, offering his help to carry the luggage.

 

“Nah, it’s okay, Mr. Robert. I can carry myself. It’s not that heavy”, Yuri politely declined his offer.

 

“Just call me Robert, Sir. Please, let me carry the luggage to the car. It’s my job, Sir”, Robert insisted.

 

“Alright, if you said so. Thank you, Robert”, Yuri said while handing over the luggage to Robert.

 

“You’re welcome, Sir. Please follow me”, Robert replied while making his way to the front and leading them to the car outside.

 

Forty minutes later, in front of the Jung-Choi residence main entrance

 

“Alright, we are here!”, Robert announced right after the car stopped in front of the foyer of the residence. He quickly got off the car, and opened the car for Yuri, and then for YoonA and Hani.

 

“Thank you, Robert!”, YoonA thanked him.

 

“You’re welcome, Ma’am. Please, follow me”, Robert replied as he once again led the trio to the main door of the residence. He then pressed the doorbell.

 

“DING! DONG!”

 

After a while, the door slowly opened, revealing a tall man carrying a toddler in his arms while cheerfully greeted the trio.

 

“Hey, finally you guys are here! Come, let’s get inside”, the tall man, Choi Sooyoung invited them to enter the house while carrying little Daniel in his arms.

 

“Hani ya! Daniella is still getting dressed by your mommy. Yul, YoonA, please help yourself in the living room while I bring Hani to Daniella’s room”, Sooyoung said.

 

“Thank you”, Yuri and YoonA thanked him in unison while heading their way to the living room.

 

“Wow! Your house is so big Uncle Soo”, Hani said as her eyes wandered around while climbing the stairs to the second floor.

 

“It’s your mommy’s house too, sweetie. Your house too”, Sooyoung said as he smiled.

 

“Chincha? This is Hani’s house too?”, she innocently asked.

 

“Yes. Your house, Daniella’s house, Daniel’s house, our house, right Danny?”, Sooyoung replied while asking his little son.

 

“Wight”, two years old Daniel answered with his baby slang, causing Sooyoung and Hani chuckled on his cute antics.

 

“KNOCK! KNOCK!”

 

“Not yet, honey. Daniella is still getting ready”, Jessica’s voice being heard shouting inside the room.

 

“Can I get inside? I have a surprise for Daniella”, Sooyoung said loudly.

 

“A surprise?”, Jessica replied, and a few seconds later the door slowly opened. Her eyes widened soon after she saw Hani was standing beside Sooyoung.

 

“Oh my God! You’re here!”, Jessica exclaimed excitedly as she dashed towards Hani and squatted down to hug her daughter. “I miss you, sweetie”, she said while showering Hani’s both cheeks with kisses.

 

“Hani misses mommy too”, the little girl replied with a grin.

 

“Unnieee! Yeay! Hani unnie is here! Hani unnie is here!”, Daniella excitedly chanted while jumping up and down with her pink floral dress. Her long hair is still messy.

 

“Hi, little bunny! You look so cute with the pink dress”, Hani said to her little sister.

 

“Thank you, unnie. Unnie, hug!”, Daniella replied while opening her little arms widely to hug her older sister. Jessica pulled off the hug to let her eldest daughter hug her little sister. The two kids were hugging while laughing. Jessica and Sooyoung chuckled while watching the two sisters reunion.

 

“Yuri and YoonA in the living room, I will go downstairs with Danny to check whether the dinner is ready or not”, Sooyoung said.

 

“Okay. We will be there in a few minutes. I need to fix that little bunny’s hair first”, Jessica replied while mouthing at Daniella who were busy chatting with Hani.

 

“Alright”, Sooyoung said while turning his heels towards the stairs with little Daniel in her arms.

 

“Bye, Danny!”, Jessica waved at her little son. Danny just waved back at his mother.

 

“Sorry for making you guys waiting. Shall we proceed to the dining room? The table is ready. Jessica and the kids will join us in a minute”, Sooyoung said.

 

“It’s okay, Soo. We are not in a rush”, Yuri replied as he got up from the couch, followed by YoonA. They then followed Sooyoung to the dining room.

 

“Hello, everyone! Sorry we are late”, Jessica apologized while entering the dining room with her two princesses.

 

“It’s okay, unnie. We can wait”, YoonA said.

 

“Daniella, say hello to Uncle Yul and Aunt YoonA”, Jessica instructed her younger daughter to greet them.

 

“Annyeonghaseyo, Uncle Yul, Aunt YoonA”, the little girl politely said as she bowed to both of them.

 

“Annyeong, sweetie. You look so cute with your pink dress. It’s matching with your Hani unnie’s dress too”, YoonA said. Hani was wearing a white dress with pink floral design.

 

“Thank you, Aunty”, Daniella thanked her.

 

“You’re welcome, sweetie”, YoonA replied.

 

“Alright. Let’s start eating now. I’m hungry”, Sooyoung said as he gestured to one of the maids to start serving the food.

 

“You’re always hungry, honey. Sometimes I wonder, is there a hole in your stomach?”, Jessica teasingly said to her husband, causing the others to chuckle at her words.

 

“It’s not a hole, babe. My metabolism is very high, don’t you know that?”, Sooyoung replied and winked at Jessica.

 

“Ermm, both of you, enough with the drama. Let’s eat?”, Yuri interrupted their conversation.

 

“Hehe.. Sorry, Yul, YoonA. Alright, let’s eat!”, Sooyoung said with a chuckle. They then started their dinner while chatting on random things.

 

After dinner

 

“As I told you guys earlier, we need to wear matching gowns and tuxedos at Krystal's wedding. So, my mother recommended this boutique for us. She wants us to be in the boutique to take measurements for our clothes later. Are you two okay with that?”, Jessica asked.

 

“We have no problem with that. Just inform us later on what time we should be there”, Yuri replied.

 

“Ermm, excuse me guys. This little guy has already fallen asleep. I need to put him to bed”, Sooyoung interrupted while slowly getting up from the couch. He then carefully lifted little Daniel and carried him into his arms.

 

“Okay, honey. Can you make milk for him after you put him to bed?”, Jessica asked.

 

“Sure, babe. Please carry on with your discussion. I just agree with everything. Good night!”, Sooyoung said as he bid good night to them.

 

“Good night, Soo”, Yuri replied.

 

“It’s already late. We should go back to the hotel”, Yuri said to YoonA. She just nodded in agreement.

 

“Ah, time flies so fast. Don’t forget to say goodbye to Hani. I’ll bring you two to the playroom”, Jessica replied. They then headed to the playroom where Hani and Daniella were busy in their own world playing with the toys after dinner.

 

“Hani ya, daddy and mommy YoonA want to go back to the hotel right now. Let’s say goodbye to them”, Jessica said to her daughter. Hani who was startled with her mother’s sudden voice immediately stopped playing and got up from the carpeted floor, followed by her little sister.

 

“Good night, Hani. Remember what daddy had told you before?”, Yuri squatted down to match Hani's height and kneeling before he hugged her.

 

“Yes, daddy. Hani remember”, Hani replied.

 

“Good girl. Daddy will see you later. Don’t sleep late, arasso?”, he reminded his little girl.

 

“Dae, daddy”, Hani obediently replied. Yuri then kissed on her cheek before he got up. YoonA took her turn to bid goodbye to Hani. She hugged the little girl and like Yuri, she also reminds Hani to sleep early.

 

“Dae, mommy. Hani will sleep early”, Hani said. After kissing Hani’s cheek, she got up from kneeling and didn’t forget to bid goodbye to little Daniella, followed by Yuri.

 

“Good night, guys. See you later!”, Jessica bid goodbye to both of them.

 

“Good night!”, Yuri and YoonA said in unison before they entered inside the car.
