:: Yoona’s Mission - Part 1 ::

 

“Y-Ya! What are you doing here?,” Yuri stuttered while looking at his boss’s stern face.

 

“Care to explain where have you been?,” she asked in serious tone.

 

“I was on my way here, though. Same goes with you two,” he reasoned. Yoona seems like not satisfied with his answer.

 

“I thought we should be together as a team, right?,” she said. “So, as my bodyguard, you should follow me wherever I go, not going on separate ways!,” she snapped at him. Yuri gritted his teeth, indicating that he tried to hold his patience, but then her words really getting into his nerves. He then slowly leaned closer to the later, and Yoona was surprised as she slowly walking backwards until her back hits on the wall near the reception counter.

 

“Let me tell you one thing. You asked me and Sunny to follow you here to spy your boyfriend, and for your information, Miss Im Yoona, that was a personal matter. So, tell me now, should we or shouldn’t we follow your order since this matter is not even include in your official work schedule?,” Yuri asked in a serious tone.

 

Yoona was stunned as she suddenly felt nervous for being treated like that by her own bodyguard. She unconsciously stared into Yuri’s dark brown orbs, and she felt mesmerized by his handsome features, his sharp nose and small lips.

 

“EHEM!”

 

A voice suddenly being heard, causing the two startled and quickly distanced themselves from each other.

 

“What’s going on here? Ya, Kwon Yuri! Where have you been?,” Sunny pretended scolding him. She actually knew that Yuri’s friend fetching him from the airport as he had informed her earlier before they departed from Seoul.

 

“I have told you, right? But, since our Miss Im is here, let me tell you once again, I asked my close friend here to fetch me from the airport. He’s my friend during my training time. So, end of the story. Will you two excuse me? I need to put my luggage and get a rest before starting to follow our boss ‘order’ here,” he replied in sarcastic manner while getting his way towards the elevator. The two girls just watching him leaving.

 

“Ya! What did you say to him that causing him sounded so angry, huh?,” Sunny snapped at Yoona.

 

“I just asked on his whereabouts, that’s all,” she replied with a poker face. Sunny squinted her eye as she didn’t believe on her reason. She then just shook her head in frustration as she knew Yoona will act nonchalant over things which is not really important to her. She doesn’t want to drag the matter further as she knew her friend well.

 

“Alright, I’m hungry. Let’s get something to eat here,” Sunny said as she grabbed Yoona’s arm and dragging her to the cafe inside the hotel.

Later on that night, at the restaurant near the suburb area in Beijing

 

“Alright, we need to discuss about the plan,” Yoona said right after the four of them, including Mr. Chao have done with their dinner.

 

“Ermm, Miss Imm, can I suggest on something?,” Mr. Chao replied.

 

“Yeah, sure. Go ahead, Mr. Chao,” she said.

 

“Okay. From my observation and investigation for the past few weeks, Mr. Xiao often spent his time clubbing at his favorite club named Babyface. He usually went there on Friday. So, I suggest that you and your team can go there on this coming Friday,” he suggested.

 

“But, how do we know that he will be there on this coming Friday?,” Sunny asked.

 

“Don’t worry, Miss Lee. I have an informer there. Normally he will make a reservation before he went there. So, once I got the information, I will let you know, Miss Im, Miss Lee,” he replied.

 

“Okay, good. So, now I think we need to do something for our disguise. We can’t be seeing like this when we entering the club. Xiao will notice us,” Yoona said.

 

“You mean, we need to wear a weird wig and shining dress like they used in film or drama?,” Sunny asked. Yoona and Mr. Chao cracking up on her words, while Yuri just remain silent.

 

“Ya, that will be too obvious, though! I mean, we need to wear like what the clubgoers wear nowadays. We need to buy new clothes,” she said. Mr. Chao nodded in agreement.

 

“Yes, Miss Im was right. You guys need to change your attire, but if you want to look different, wearing a wig is a good suggestion. But, not a weird wig like Afro wig. You guys can easily being noticed and become a spotlight. Or, just put a heavy makeup like smokey makeup just to cover your face a bit,” he suggested.

 

“You mean, I need to put a smokey makeup and wearing a wig too?,” Yuri asked. Once again, the three of them cracking up over his words.

 

“Ya, Kwon Yuri! Do you want to become a drag queen?,” Sunny said, causing the rest cracking up again.

 

“Aishh.. I’m just asking, though,” he replied as he felt pissed.

 

“You can put some if you want to. But, I don’t think you want it, right? But, don’t worry, Mr. Kwon, Mr. Xiao doesn’t know you at all. He recognized Miss Lee because he used to meet her few times, and I’m sure he will notice her if she didn’t make a little disguise,” Mr. Chao said.

 

“Yeah, whatever,” he mumbled slowly. “But, wait, I have to stay here for another six days? Damn!,” he thought.

 

“Alright. Anything else you want to add Mr. Chao before we can dismiss?,” Yoona asked.

 

“I think that’s all for now. If there’s any updates regarding him I will let you know,” Mr. Chao replied.

 

“Okay. Thanks, Mr. Chao. We will see you again on Friday,” she said as she got up from her seat, and extended her hand to shake hands with him.

 

“Yeah, see you on Friday, Miss Im,” he replied as he shook hands with her. The rest then got up from their respective seats, and they eventually left the restaurant after Yoona had settled the bill.

 

“Where did you get this car, Yuri?,” Sunny asked right after they entered inside the car. She took her seat next to Yuri, while Yoona at the backseat. Yuri decided to drive on his own as for their convenience to go anywhere they want. He rented the BMW X7 as suggested by Kris, and he’s the one who helped him with the rental process and so forth.

 

“I asked my friend to rent it for me. I don’t want to trouble Mr. Chao if we want to go anywhere later. We have to spend another six days here because of this work,” Yuri replied while glancing at the rear mirror, looking at Yoona. The latter just made her poker face like nothing happen.

 

“Awesome! We can visit interesting places around Beijing later. I heard there are lot of tourist hotspots here,” Sunny excitedly said.

 

“Sure you can, Miss Lee,” he replied as he smiled.

 

“And, you at the back there! Don’t just stay at your room only. We will drag you along, arasso?,” Sunny said in a serious tone.

 

“Whatever!,” Yoona replied as she rolled her eyes, and continued gazing the outside view through the car’s window.

The next day

 

“Hey, why are you still not getting ready, huh?,” Sunny asked as she applied some light pink blusher on her cheeks, getting ready to go for a sightseeing with Yuri on that day. They made a plan for a sightseeing, shopping and food hunting around the city.

 

“I’m not interested. You can go with him,” she replied while reading the magazine. It’s a cooking magazine to be exact.

 

“Oh, yeah? So, I hope you will not feel regret later,” Sunny said. Yoona furrowed her brows.

 

“Why would I? Just going out and eating with that tanned guy doesn’t make me feel regret at all,” she casually said. Sunny finished with putting her makeup and smirked at Yoona through the mirror.

 

“Because today’s expenses will be on him, and he’s going to introduce me to his handsome friend who fetched him from the airport yesterday. We will spend our time together,” Sunny replied with a sly smile.

 

“Damn!,” Yoona cursed in her thought. She couldn’t say no to free food, shopping and plus, there will be a good looking new friend that Yuri is going to introduce to them.

 

“Alright, I have to go now. Yuri is waiting for me at the lobby. I’ll see you later,” Sunny was about to walk towards the door when Yoona suddenly called her.

 

“Ya, w-wait! I will get ready,” she said as she immediately put the magazine aside, and got off the bed, sprinted to the bathroom to get change. Sunny just laughed at her act.

 

“Yoona, Yoona. I know you well, though. Of course, you couldn’t say no,” she said.

At the hotel’s lobby

 

“Hey, hyung!,” Kris greeted Yuri with a brief hug.

 

“Thank you for coming today. I will introduce you to my boss and her manager later. Let’s wait for them to come over,” Yuri said as he pointed to the settee at the lobby. They then walked towards the settee and took their respective seat. “Have you had your breakfast?,” he asked.

 

“Already had, hyung. My mom always make sure I eat breakfast every morning,” he replied.

 

“Chincha? Aww.. mommy’s boy!,” Yuri , causing the latter cracking up. While they were busy chatting, the two girls finally went out of the elevator and walking towards them.

 

“Yul! Sorry for keep you waiting,” Sunny said. Yoona just standing at her back while crossing her arms, and wearing a pair of black shades. The two guys immediately got up from the settee.

 

“Nah, it’s okay. We are not rushing anyway. Ermm.. this is Kris Wu, my friend from Beijing. Kris, this is Lee Sunny, Miss Im’s manager, and this is Miss Im Yoona, our boss.

 

“Hello! Nice to meet you, Sunny ssi!,” he greets Sunny first and extended his hand to shake hands with the latter.

 

“Nice to meet you too, Kris ssi!,” Sunny cheerfully greets him back and while shaking hands. He then greets Yoona while extended his hand to her, but the latter just smiled and nodded a little. Kris then drew his hand back and just smiled.

 

“Aishh.. This brat!,” Sunny mumbles while shook her head.

 

“Alright, shall we go now?,” Yuri asked.

 

“Kaja!,” Sunny excitedly said, causing the rest except Yoona chuckled on her act.

After visiting Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Lama Temple, and shopping at infamous Silk Market, Kris and Yuri planned to bring them for lunch at the famous Beijing Quan Ju De Roast Duck restaurant.

 

“This is awesome! Sunny said while devouring the roasted duck meat. “This is my first time eating roasted duck. It’s so delicious!,” she chirped, causing Yuri and Kris smiled in satisfaction. Kris then turned to look at Yoona who was enjoying the roasted duck with rice.

 

“How about you, Miss Im? Have you ever tried the roasted duck before?,” he asked.

 

“Yeah, many times when I visited China,” she casually replied. Kris nodded as he smiled faintly. Sunny who was watching them then suddenly interrupted.

 

“Just mind her, Kris. She’s always like that, especially with a newfound friend,” Sunny said while continue eating her food. Yoona then stared at her, shooting daggers at the latter.

 

“Ah.. It’s okay,” he said as he smiled. Yuri just shook his head and continued eating. Yuri then glancing at Yoona who nonchalantly continued eating her food without minding on her surrounding.

 

“Why she always acting cold towards other people, huh? I wonder what you're thinking right now, Im Yoona,” he thought. “I will find out about her from Sunny later,” he thought again. The trio (except Yoona) continued their random chatting until it’s about the time for them to leave the restaurant.

They continued with the second course of their trip by visiting Panda House (Zoo), Capital Museum, New CCTV Tower, National Grand Theatre, and lastly Nanluoguxiang (Nan Lu Guo Lane), the famous lane for the cafes and bars, and clothing and handcraft shops, and the lane is also famous among tourists.

 

“Let’s have our dinner at the cafe here,” Kris suggested. Yuri and the girls just followed suit as they kind of hungry after having sightseeing at tourists hotspot around the city.

 

After having dinner, Kris sent them back to the hotel since he drove them with his own car. He volunteered to do so although Yuri objected at first, and asked him to use the car he rent earlier.

 

“Thank you for treating us today, Kris ssi,” Sunny thanked him.

 

“Nah, it’s okay, Sunny ssi. I just drove you guys to those places, while all expenses have been borne by Yuri hyung,” he replied.

 

“Thanks Yul ah,” Sunny thanked him. She then elbowed Yoona who was standing at her side, gesturing her to thank Yuri.

 

“Erm.. t-thanks,” she said.

 

“Don’t mention, guys. Just a small matter,” he replied as he smiled.

 

“Alright, hyung, Sunny ssi, Yoona ssi, I need to excuse myself first. I’ll see you guys later,” Kris said while heading towards the car and getting inside. He then waved his hand at them, bidding his goodbye before he drove away from the hotel. The trio waved at him back and watched him until his car disappeared from their sight.

 

“He’s a nice guy, huh?,” Sunny commented.

 

“Indeed. He’s like my dongsaeng, though,” Yuri proudly replied.

 

“Does he have a girlfriend?,” Sunny asked in curious.

 

“Of course he have, though. His girlfriend is working as a newscaster at CCTV,” Yuri replied.

 

“Oh.. Wow!,” Sunny replied as agape in surprised.

 

“Don’t agape too much, Sunny ah. A fly will landing inside your mouth later,” Yoona who was silent since then suddenly made a joke, causing Yuri cracking up.

 

“Ya! Aishh.. This brat!,” she snapped while playfully showing her fist at the latter. Yuri could see Yoona’s lips curved upwards. He unconsciously smiled after seeing it.

 

“Finally, she really enjoyed the trip and treat, huh?,” he thought.

Wednesday

 

After spending their time for the second course of sightseeing on Monday, the trio decided to have a rest on Tuesday. Yoona suggested that they will go for shopping for their clubbing attire on Wednesday afternoon.

 

Yuri invited Sunny and Yoona to join him for breakfast in the morning, but then Yoona declined as she wanted to have more sleep before they will do their shopping. So, the duo decided just to have their breakfast at the hotel’s cafe.

 

“I would like to have black coffee and tuna sandwich,” he ordered.

 

“Me orange juice and clubhouse sandwich,” Sunny placed her order. The waitress repeated the orders, and collected the menu back before she left the table.

 

“So, what type of clothes we are going to buy later, huh? I really don’t have any idea. The last time I went for clubbing was during my college time,” Yuri said.

 

“What were you wearing at that time?,” Sunny asked.

 

“I just wear casual clothes, a shirt, a pair of jeans and sneakers, that’s all. You know, student style at that time, right?,” he replied.

 

“So, this time you couldn’t wear that type of clothes anymore. You are an adult now. Just wear the clothes you usually wear,” she suggested.

 

“You mean, like what I am wearing right now?,” Yuri asked. He wears a baby blue shirt with folded sleeves, a pair of khaki pants with white sneakers. Sunny have to admit, Yuri looked handsome and neat with those attire. But she has another plan.

 

“No, an upgrade to this one. I have discussed with Yoona before we went to sleep. I suggested that we wear something that can attract people’s attention,” she replied.

 

“Attract people’s attention? How does it will look like?,” Yuri asked.

 

“You will find out later,” she replied with a smirk. Yuri looked at her in curious, causing Sunny laughed at him. “Don’t worry, Yul. I’m not going to make you wear wig or dress like a drag queen. I will transform you into a handsome chaebol (family conglomerate/rich people),” Sunny said.

 

“Oh, arasso,” he replied as he nodded. The two stopped chatting when the waitress came and served them with food and drinks they ordered earlier. After thanking the waitress, the two started eating their breakfast.

At the shopping mall

 

As recommended by Kris, Yuri brought them shopping at The Malls at Oriental Plaza where most of the international brand of clothing boutique could be found there. It was also the largest commercial complexes in Asia, and a popular shopping destination for both locals and visitors.

 

“So, where should we go first?,” Sunny asked right after they entered the mall. Yoona’s eyes was wandering around the area, while Yuri was busy reading the floor plan from the pamphlet he took earlier at the information counter.

 

“Let’s look for our clothes first,” Yoona replied, and then turned to look at Yuri. “Have you found the clothing boutique for ladies in there?,” she asked. Yuri then walked closer to the girls and showed the pamphlet to them.

 

“Here. Second floor. Most of clothing boutiques are here. Let’s go there,” Yuri replied as he led the girls to the nearest elevator.

 

After spending almost an hour in finding the suitable clothes for the girls, Yoona suggested that they halted their shopping activity first as she felt hungry. Sunny and Yuri just followed her suit, and they decided just to eat their lunch at fast food restaurant there.

 

Done with their short break for lunch, they continued looking for the clothes. After two hours of touring around the mall, the trio finally found the suitable clothes for them.

 

“I think you should wear a hair extension for these top and skirt, Yoong,” Sunny suggested.

 

“Chincha?,” she replied. Sunny nodded.

 

“Arasso,” she said. She fully trusted on Sunny’s recommendation as she has more experience in entertainment industry.

 

“And, I really like the leather jacket of yours, Yul. It will looks cool if you can apply some light smokey eye makeup,” she suggested.

 

“W-wait! Me wearing a makeup?,” he asked as his eyes widened in surprise.

 

“Aishh.. Just a little, you pabo! It won’t look obvious, though,” she snapped at him. Yoona just chuckled as she found it funny, and Yuri glared at her.

 

“For the hair, you can have whether a messy or neat look one,” she suggested.

 

“Aishh.. Whatever,” he mumbles.

 

“Your choice looked awesome too, Sunny ah,” Yoona said as she compliments.

 

“Yeah, I chose almost the same bright and shining theme as yours, so that we can match well,” she said. Yuri furrowed her brows as his attire doesn’t match with the girls at all.

 

“What about me? Mine aren’t match with you two at all,” he voice out his opinion. The two girls then cracking up upon hearing his words.

 

“Ya! We are not a Kpop group, though. Besides, it will be weird if you wear a shining jacket or pants to the club. Men doesn’t wear that, though,” Sunny said.

 

“H-how would I know, though,” he mumbles in embarrassment.

 

“Alright. Since we are done with the shopping, can we go back to the hotel now? Mr. Chao texted me just now, and he informed that Xiao has made a booking at the same club. Let’s have a final discussion about our plan,” Yoona said.

 

“Arasso. Let’s go,” Sunny replied.

 

The trio then leaving the mall, and they decided to have their dinner near the town before they went back to the hotel.
