Vacation was about to end and the girls of Peutin High and AID Institute were making most out of it. The younger girls were almost together enjoying things that young adolescence enjoys.

Eunchae, Yehana, Somyi and Kyla were at Han River enjoying the good weather. Kyla was with her skateboard as usual and entertaining her friends with her skills. 3 of them knows how to do skateboard except Yehana though she would want to learn the sport her 3 other friends won’t let her as they feel like she’s too fragile for it.

Kyla were doing her usual rounds in the street. She impressed people around her with her skills, her attention was then drifted to a girl who seemed to be struggling. She couldn’t even balance herself. She tried to closer and noticed two familiar faces.

“Why would you want to learn this! I told you to learn to balance yourself first” Chaeyeon barked.

“Come on, just teach me how to do it” Eunwoo replied.

“I shouldn’t be wasting my time here, I was supposed to go in a date with Yebin”

“You would see her later –“

“Is there a problem here?”

Eunwoo’s words were cut-off. They shifted their attention to the owner of the voice and saw Kyla standing behind Chaeyeon. Eunwoo’s heart raced upon seeing her. The older girl has a crush on her and she’s been trying her best to get the girl’s attention which include learning how to ride the skateboard which is Kyla’s hobby.

“Oh Kyla, it’s you. Are you trying do skateboarding here?” asked Chaeyeon.

“Yes, sunbaenim”

“Can you teach Eunwoo how to do this, I have to go”

“Okay no problem”

“There you go, behave yourself Jung Eunwoo” Chaeyeon whispered the last part of her sentence to her cousin.

Chaeyeon knew that Eunwoo has a crush on Kyla and been trying to make the girl fall for her. She looked at her again and thanked Kyla once more.

“Is this your first time riding this?” Kyla asked

“Ah yes” Eunwoo replied.

“This is actually easy”

Kyla asked Eunwoo to stand on the board and balance herself but the latter was having a hard time and somewhat went out of balance. Kyla was quick enough to catch her by the waist. The skinship made Eunwoo’s heart race as Kyla’s arm was literally wrapped around her waist. How she wish she will do that every time.

“Sorry” Eunwoo said, Kyla replied with a smile and Eunwoo swear that she might die right then and there.

The two of them continued with the session. Eunwoo was slowly getting the hang of it and at least learned how to balance herself on top of the board. She then noticed the younger looking at her watch. She thought maybe Kyla have something else to do.

“Do you have anything to do?” Eunwoo asked.

“Not really but my friends are on the other side of the park”

They then heard Kyla’s friends calling for her. Yehana also knew about Eunwoo crushing on Kyla so she signaled her other friends to leave them alone. Kyla being clueless just agreed and continued to teach Eunwoo how to ride the skateboard.

Eunwoo got the hang of it and could make the skateboard move. Kyla was just following her behind. Eunwoo was feeling proud of herself but it was not lived long as she fell from it.

Kyla run towards her and extended her hand to help Eunwoo stand. The older girl who’s on the floor looked up and heart was beating fast as she held the younger girl’s hand. Kyla helped her stood up but she exerted a bit of force that Eunwoo stumbled and fall in her arms. Their faces were inches away from each other.

“Are you okay?”

“Not really, my hurts”

“I see, come let’s go to my apartment”

“Wait what? What are we going to do there?”

Eunwoo’s cheeks flushed red upon realizing Kyla’s invitation. Her face was heating up thinking of things that they might do.

“You got your knees wounded let’s at least clean and put medicine on it”

Eunwoo looked oat her knees and saw the scratches on her knees. She wants to mentally punch herself for thinking way ahead and almost embarrassed herself in front of Kyla.

Kyla opened the door of her apartment and led Eunwoo to her home. She asked her to sit on the couch as she go get the first-aid kit. Eunwoo roamed her house and saw how simple, neat and organize Kyla’s apartment.

Few minutes later, Kyla arrived with a white box on her hand. She sat in front of Eunwoo and began cleaning her wounded knee. After doing so, Kyla move a bit closer and blew air on Eunwoo’s knee, her face turned red once more as the Kyla’s warm breath touched her skin. Kyla then wrapped Eunwoo’s knee with gauze.

“There you go” Kyla declare.

“Thank you”

“My pleasure, are you hungry? Would you want me to cook for you?”

“I would love to but isn’t that too much to ask?”

“No worries, you are my guess and it is normal for me to take care of you”

“If that’s the case then okay”

“Come, I’ll show you my kitchen”

Eunwoo’s jaw dropped upon seeing the kitchen. It was the biggest part of the house or at least she thought. The huge kitchen counter in the middle of the room was fully equipped by utensils and various tools and by the look of it Eunwoo thought that those could be very expensive.

Kyla asked Eunwoo to sit on the side of the kitchen counter as she begins her cooking show. The way Kyla wear her apron made Eunwoo extra hungry, if it is for food or to Kyla, Eunwoo was not even sure.

She watched her prepare the ingredients and cut the vegetables that she would be using for the food. Kyla whisked some eggs and Eunwoo does not understand but she find it so y. She was drooling internally as to which, she is not sure.

“Do you live alone?” Eunwoo decided to asks before she eats Kyla alive.

“Nope, I live with my cousin”

“Oh same, I live with Chaeyeon but where is your cousin?”

“She went back to the states for vacation”

“I see, if you don’t mind asking, where are your parents?”

“US, I went here to study. I love it here better”

“That’s glad to know”

Kyla smiled at Eunwoo and continued with her cooking. Eunwoo couldn’t help but every gesture Kyla does, she takes her breath away. She thought it might not be just a simple crush, she is in love with Kyla.

The younger girl finished cooking and asked Eunwoo to sit on the dining table. Eunwoo offered help but Kyla declined stating that she was her guest. They talked casually as they munch on their dinner and Eunwoo felt that she is just falling in love with Kyla even more as time passed by.

They finished dinner and Kyla offer to take Eunwoo home. Despite the older girl’s protest, Kyla was able to persuade her.

They walk quietly. Kyla was just looking down and Eunwoo couldn’t help but to stare at the younger’s girl face.

“What made you like skateboarding?” Kyla asked all of a sudden.

“It’s a secret” Eunwoo replied shyly.

“Okay”

Kyla did not press on the reason. She then continued to walk putting her hands on her jacket’s pocket. Eunwoo saw the shadow and let her walk first. She extended her hand making it looks like she is holding on to Kyla’s arm. She continued to walk and watch their shadows. It was simple but Eunwoo’s heart is racing. Amidst to her the younger knew what she was doing and suddenly stopped.

Eunwoo was startled as Kyla stop but was then get made her heart scream as Kyla reached out and hold her hand. Kyla pulled her a bit making her hold Eunwoo’s tighter.

Eunwoo was mentally screaming with the gesture and how she wishes they could be like this forever.
