Jongin worked himself in the dance studio until his shirt was soaked from sweat. He had a lot to learn, and a bunch of students in the class had been professionally trained. He had to work twice as hard just to be equally as good.
Of all his classes that had to do with the arts, the one where he actually had to dance was his favorite.
He wiped the sweat from his forehead before taking off his shirt. There was no one else in the studio, so it wasn’t weird. Or so he thought. Because when he turned around, Chaeyeon was standing in the doorway with a bag, smirking.
“Is this a show for me?”
Jongin flushed at the implication, yanked the bag out of her grasp, and started to down the greasy goodness of fried chicken and fries. “How did you even find me?”
“You told me where the studio was, and I went through the halls.” She shrugged before sitting on the ground and folding her legs. “I asked Kyungsoo if he wanted to come, but apparently he’s on a date.”
He choked on a mouthful of chicken, and Chaeyeon laughed, thumping his back. His eyes watered before he gags out, “A date?”
She nodded before changing the subject, “What are you working on?”
Instead of telling her, he decided to show her. He wiped his fingers on a napkin before pressing play on the music. The notes commanded his body, and he tried to be smooth, natural, but something felt off. May
