The later an act went on stage, the more important they were to the show. This, Ellie had already figured out with common sense, but, of course, Jae made sure to clarify this to her himself. With this knowledge in mind, Ellie was considerably surprised to find that Catalyst was one of the evening acts for Borderless’s three-day event. There were dozens of acts that went on stage before them, some that Ellie had actually heard of before. Their position in the lineup gave Catalyst some time to themselves after rehearsal, before they actually went on; this gave Ellie time to enjoy breakfast with Jae, his bandmates, and Mika and Shavon, before their groups separated for the evening.

But it’s pretty funny to see the gifts they get and how the hoes act.”
“And then we’re done for the night,” Shavon concluded. “Rinse and repeat.”
“Oh, okay.”
“It’ll be fun,” Mika assured her. “Their concerts are always great, but there’s something about seeing all those people out there cheering for them that’s amazing, even the people that didn’t come for them at first.”
“Especially the people that didn’t come for them,” Shavon added with another laugh. Ellie laughed a little as well.
“Alright; sounds good.”
