Apology
AgeMina stood outside the door, unsure of what to do next. For days she has been fantasizing about this exact moment; but once it came, she had no idea what to do.
Her finger remained hovered over the doorbell, as fearful thoughts ran throughout her head.
“What if she doesn’t accept my apology?”
“What if she hates me?”
“What would I do?”
“What would I do without her?”
“You do know that you have to push the doorbell for it to ring right?” A voice from behind Mina called, derailing her train of thought.
“Oh, h-hey Seongwoo.” Mina nervously laughed, “I was just about to ring it.”
Mina rocked back and forth on her heels, hoping Seongwoo would walk into his apartment and leave her alone; and of course, that was not going to be the case.
