"Sehun!"

Sehun turned to the doorway and saw his friend, Kai waving at him.

It was already recess by the time Ms.Jung had explained each group's tasks.

Sehun and Jisoo had established a time on when they would get together to work on their assignment.

Sehun was surprised with himself.

He had not been more talkative than usual but he is genuinely interested in Jisoo.

He would not say that he is falling for her, more like unearthing a hidden gem and wanting to see how it would shine.

Jisoo was different from any other girls that he had met before and that is not because if her being blind. Most girls would just act all optimistic and cute in front of him. They would just say all sorts of stuff in hopes of getting him to respond to them but not Jisoo. She didn't try to do that. She was just herself, real and not fake. 

It was...refreshing.

"Dude!"Sehun was awaken from his thoughts as Kai slapped his back."Welcome back! How was England? Met any hot babes?"

Sehun glanced to his side and saw that Jisoo had already left with Jennie and another two girls.

"Dude, who are you looking at?"Kai saw that his friend was not being his usual self and followed Sehun's gaze towards Jisoo's retreating figure.

"Are you interested in Jisoo?"Kai asked which caused Sehun to glare at his friend before standing up and leaving the classroom.

Kai took a deep breath before shaking his head and following his friend.

Kai plastered on a smile and hooked an arm around Sehun's neck.

"Let's go! The rest of them are already at the cafeteria."Kai grinned.

"..What's the deal with Jisoo anyway?"Sehun said suddenly.

Kai paused and looked at his friend before answering.

"You wouldn't know her of course. She just transferred to our school last year."Kai explained as they headed towards the cafeteria."She is very talented that's why our school allowed her in as a special case."

Sehun nodded and gave Kai a brief smile.

"Why are you so interested in her?"Kai asked Sehun puzzledly."You used to think that girls are a waste of time."

"I still do."Sehun retorted."I just...have to work with her so I am trying to know more about her, that's all."

Kai paused in his steps and looked at his friend.

"If you say so, dude. I just hope you won't let yourself get too caught up in it again, like last time."

"I won't."Sehun's face darkened as past memories resurfaced in his mind."Trust me."
